Hey guys... can one of you try to install this cab just posted in the Excalibur forum in the NRG Weather 3.0 thread ?

I installed your app... on the 96 dpi rom. It looks good and it works quite well. I don't really know what i did but I managed to make it look tha same on the portrait and landscape layouts. at first it would take off the background in landscape.
The X symbol is because you don't have the location ID for the city you are in.

tell more - location ID who? in the phone or what?

go to yahoo weather and search for location id. You'll find your city there.

i've got the right location number : GMXX4381
but by weather forecast there're the red X-Symbols again!

Hm I had this problem once, because there was no 10-day forecast! Yes, just what I thought. I tried your location ID and there is no 10 day forecast, that's why it's nt working.

Is it necessary to have internet access for you to be able to use a weather program? I dont have that kind of access yet with my provider.

Nope... it's good that I like it. Otherwise I'd have to reflash the OS.

I am using this for last couple of days and I find the following problems.
(1) It does not get uninstalled. Reflashing OS only removes it cleanly.
(2) Sometimes the font is oversized in the current weather panel which cannot be fixed.
(3) The phone also hangs or becomes non responsive occassionally.
Any solution to these

3) set update the homescreen to No. Otherwise the phone locks up.

Is there any way to use it with other non-slide panel homescreen like plugin?

No, it only works with WM6.1 Chome: I asked the same in the thread in the Excalibur section, and that was the answer.
I suggest you to try Mini Weather (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392267); it works also with WM6, not as a plugin but redesigning the background (so using no system resources).
Choosing the right icons it can produce nice results: you can see here the theme I use on my Wings.

what about uninstall procedure? is there any fix for that?

Can someone post the beta VOX installer for NRG Weather 3.0? The link in the original post in the excalibur format is broken now and no one over there seems to have the file!

I will try to find a place to put a screenshot but the my bandwide on photobucket is justed up and Audio manager is in

Instead of bigger clock other widgets can be put forth,
Another thing cant it be like Windows Vista cause throttle can be used as morph for vista look

Hey gullum... does it has all the fixes i mean the os version is 19214 but it is a new one 20273 its better but does this version your does have the batt drain fix, and the IRDA fully works? thanks nice to see a ROM with throttle launcher in it by cook, downloading and testing.

maybe I am overlooking it, but is mms installed on this rom. when I go into messages I only see email and text. no mms.

so... install it...

Instal the mms composerposted by mr. Simonkjam on his everey vanilla flavored UCextrom for tnt ROMS, it works for me

Ive Been Examining The Rom N Turns Out That There Is Something Eating Up The Memory. Like If U Go To Setting > System Tab > Memory And Under Programs YOUll See Tha There Is Something Just Slowly Eating Up The Memory Have To Constantly Free Up The Ram (UNDER THROTTLES COMM MANAGER) For No Reason

IRDA not in rom (well my fault did same mistake with the prophet rom) this is a port from Kaiser and kaiser has no IRDA but I'll add it in

the MMS problems (there is no MMS in the rom) so don't know if you have installed a cab
about the memory I've used my wixard the whole day and started with aroun 22 MB and now 12 + hours later it's down to 19,60MB and has been there for several hours... so maybe it's an app you have installed?
and no one has problem with screen not responding so it's the crack in my screen that is causing mine to not respond so good

mmmm I think that MR SVI and Mr TNT enables the IRDA, ask him if you dont have any idea to incorporated, 20721 or 20271? so the numbers makes the diference...

Another few Problem:
1. Throttle Launcher will not work in landscape mode. 25% of the Throttle Launcher at below will be cuted in landscape.
2. I think there is some problem the menu in dialpad screen ( When I click menu button in dial pad screen it show empty space with (A) and (B) at right side of the menu) .
3. No onenote mobile installed.
4. Dialpad is not so good. I prefer to use SNN's ( Pauldgroot for Diamond dialpad theme ).
Other thing is good. Very fast ROM
But now i am going back to SNN ROM.
I very much liked the Throttle Launcher 0.9.3, anyone plz can help to fix the landscape problem. I finded everything in the net but no luck!

1. I also have this landscape problem and it is supose to show the quick new menu like in the Touch Pro but it's prob a limit in throttle because the keyboard is on the other side the in most newer devices and APBilbo has a Herald ... so I'm guessing that it's set to change when you rotate to right handed view.
2. thats some mui problem that I need to figure
3. thats on purpose I never used one note for ppc or pc(useless app IMO)
4. I will look at that skin but I will not use it maybe change mine (I make my own skins)

Love the rom but have a question regarding the use of the contacts page. I have installed the file to get the contacts to work but I need to know how to change the pictures of the matrix characters that appear to the pictures of my own contacts.

yes I have it thanks for posting it but I had it already just forgot to put it in the rom. Only Wizard and Prophet have ir of all my devices.
Love the rom but have a question regarding the use of the contacts page. I have installed the file to get the contacts to work but I need to know how to change the pictures of the matrix characters that appear to the pictures of my own contacts.

on you device goto \Program Files\ThrottleLauncher\Setups\TFlo3d\TWolf\Contacts and copy the vars.txt to your computer and change the numbers and names in the files you also need to make new photos and keep the nameing the same foto1 2 3 and so on
lets say you have a contact called Jack and number is 1234567
change the first 2 lines
&nome1=Jack&END
&numero1=1234567&END
and make a picture of Jack and name it foto1.jpg in 150x150 resolation

He is my latest manila 2.5 theme. Hope you guys enjoy! Just install the theme cab file and then the clock cab file. Hope you enjoy.
P.S i didnt create a stocks or footprint icon because I dont use those tabs.
Having trouble attaching theme file so i made a rapidshare link for the file. Only 10 downloads allowed so if anyone can attach it here it would great.

Thanks alot for those that use max manila I also attached a cab file for matching notification icons.

Sorry to be a dunce, but I can't get this working on my Topaz. I installed the cabs, but nothing. It's not showing up on the settings screen as a theme, so I'm stumped. I'm running the official HTC 6.5 ROM at the moment.

Its for Manila 2.5, I'm pretty sure the official 6.5 only has 6.1, so it will not work.

On another note: What build of manila are you using? Not the version, but the build

iam using the 2.5.1921 version but ive also tested it on the latest energy roms with the latest manila.

EDIT: I can see now that I need to flash a ROM that already has 2.5 in it. Any suggestions? The last time I flashed a new ROM, I had to go back to the official 6.5 because my GPS went mad. It was showing that I was about 400km away from where I actually was, at 15,000m altitude, travelling at around 400km/h.

If you want to change from Manila 2.1 to 2.5 you have to flash another rom...
You can start reading the stickys in the Rom Development section.

Thank you! Any slider is better than the awful (IMHO) original sense 2.5, but this one is really cool and finally woking in my ROM! (with sense 2.5.19211619.0). Is there a way to get the original black-on-white clock?
EDIT: I just noticed that my bottom bar is not like the one in the screenshot, no big deal, since the slider was my main concern.Anyway I'd like to have it aswell, so any help is welcome.

iam working on some new slider designs because i definitely agree, they are a bit bland. as to the theme that i have in that pic iam using ahens black theme. you can find in the windows theme sections.

I absolutely love the clock here, but lately it's gotten thrown out of alignment. I'm not sure exactly what's doing it, but I suspect that it's Max Manila. I'm using the latest Energy ROM.
It seems that the clock background gets elongated, which throws everything below it out of alignment; the weather text appears in between the clock background and the split backgrounds for the weather stuff, and then the split backgrounds end up being behind the Calendar header (date and alarm status).
Any chance you might revisit the clock? I really haven't found any other clock that I like as much as this one, and I've tried I should also note that I haven't had any alignment issues with any other clock that I've tried, although most of them have just been solid (no transparent gaps).

16 shortcuts and 20 shortcuts problems

hello, i have a problem with 16 shortcuts and 20 shortcuts. if i install 16 the problem is with sense weather stop working. and 20 the problem not working the last 10 icons. sorry for my english. please help me. where is a problem.
i have now Miri HD2 WM6.5 (21887) ROM :: Sense 2.5 :: V 1.1

what i have noticed from the 20 shortcuts, some weather animation do not work. for instance when it sunny or stormy, the animation does not work.
however when it rainy and coudy the animation works. VERY STRANGE!!
What i have also noticed that i cant changethe home background
do you have the same probem with the homepage?

Also having problems with Dutty's new rom and the shortcuts background for buttons are off and alarm button no longer works....

You should all really raise these issues on the thread where you downloaded the ROM. It sounds like these are ROM issues, so I'm sure Miri would want to know about them, and he's obviously the best person to help you out.

i believe it's because of the new beta manila build 1922 instead of 1921.....

It is... THe latest Sense is having problems with ALL the shortcuts cabs... I have not found one that does not. I think it has to do with the fact that the new Manila builds are designed to work in landscape as well for the home tab.... this is causing problems with how the original shortcut cabs work. We are going to need a completely new build of this tweak/mod to get it to work with future Manila versions I think.....
Is someone out there capable enough to rework the original app to get it to render properly? Who is the original designer of this mod? I am sure this will be sorted eventually.... it does not strike me as difficult a problem as the bluetooth issues people are having with Voice command (due to the bluetooth stack).
I say all of this of course while at the same time having no idea as to how to do any of it! Someone help us please?

I found the problem for the clock, it cannot show other country time after use 16 or 20 icons.

It does not fix that issue. But look at what I wrote: It says BG4All which means background for all tabs; something that was impossible just like "20 shortcuts". But now, at least one of those problems is solved.

Read the posts first carefully. I said that link solved the "background for all tabs"-problem. No "background for all tabs"-cab file worked on Dutty's ROM before. But now in the link I posted, you find the solution for that. Read carefullt what I wrote.

my manilla version is 2.5.19.21
I'll install the special version of 16 shortcuts for this version and the mail function don't work !!
I can't do anything in mail tab, it's impossible to open, read or write new email.
have you got a solution?

When I installed the 16 or 20 shortcuts cab file, there are more changings included then only the shortcuts.
I only want more shortcuts, thats what I really would like to have.

I'm using "Vovichek_Jamrecords 16 TT UPDATED" and the weather animations work fine...

The website is all in russian, i tried to register but then it came up with the security check box (captcha) where it shows a picture of letters and numbers to verify that I'm not a bot, the only problem is, I don't have russian characters on my keyboard! Any chance you could be kind enough to mirror it? Many thanks

I've had installed that Jamrecords cab with 16 shortcuts, but there are problems with the shortcuts, the personal photo (on the homescreen, a shortcut) didn't work anymore.
Is that already fixed in the UPDATED version?

No, it's for many devices. It has animation optimisations for slower phones, it allows you to disable CHT lockscreen on WM 6.1 devices etc. It was beta tested on many devices too, for compatibility.
Not HD2 only, by any means.

the screen's option is less than old once, the storage option can not ues due to it could'nt find the framework 3.5, I am using Miri ROM v17 with dink.

Running it and it runs very smooth. Also using bgwizard for transparent top and bottum.
I like eveything clean and transparent. Think the next versions of CHT will only be better. Hope in the future version CHT will be a combination of Maxsence and CHT.
