what i have noticed from the 20 shortcuts, some weather animation do not work. for instance when it sunny or stormy, the animation does not work.
however when it rainy and coudy the animation works. VERY STRANGE!!
What i have also noticed that i cant changethe home background
do you have the same probem with the homepage?
Also having problems with Dutty's new rom and the shortcuts background for buttons are off and alarm button no longer works....

You should all really raise these issues on the thread where you downloaded the ROM. It sounds like these are ROM issues, so I'm sure Miri would want to know about them, and he's obviously the best person to help you out.
i believe it's because of the new beta manila build 1922 instead of 1921.....
It is... THe latest Sense is having problems with ALL the shortcuts cabs... I have not found one that does not. I think it has to do with the fact that the new Manila builds are designed to work in landscape as well for the home tab.... this is causing problems with how the original shortcut cabs work. We are going to need a completely new build of this tweak/mod to get it to work with future Manila versions I think.....
Is someone out there capable enough to rework the original app to get it to render properly? Who is the original designer of this mod? I am sure this will be sorted eventually.... it does not strike me as difficult a problem as the bluetooth issues people are having with Voice command (due to the bluetooth stack).
I say all of this of course while at the same time having no idea as to how to do any of it! Someone help us please?
I found the problem for the clock, it cannot show other country time after use 16 or 20 icons.

It does not fix that issue. But look at what I wrote: It says BG4All which means background for all tabs; something that was impossible just like "20 shortcuts". But now, at least one of those problems is solved.

Read the posts first carefully. I said that link solved the "background for all tabs"-problem. No "background for all tabs"-cab file worked on Dutty's ROM before. But now in the link I posted, you find the solution for that. Read carefullt what I wrote.

my manilla version is 2.5.19.21
I'll install the special version of 16 shortcuts for this version and the mail function don't work !!
I can't do anything in mail tab, it's impossible to open, read or write new email.

When I installed the 16 or 20 shortcuts cab file, there are more changings included then only the shortcuts.
I only want more shortcuts, thats what I really would like to have.
I'm using "Vovichek_Jamrecords 16 TT UPDATED" and the weather animations work fine...

The website is all in russian, i tried to register but then it came up with the security check box (captcha) where it shows a picture of letters and numbers to verify that I'm not a bot, the only problem is, I don't have russian characters on my keyboard! I've had installed that Jamrecords cab with 16 shortcuts, but there are problems with the shortcuts, the personal photo (on the homescreen, a shortcut) didn't work anymore.
Is that already fixed in the UPDATED version?

I installed your app... on the 96 dpi rom. It looks good and it works quite well. I don't really know what i did but I managed to make it look tha same on the portrait and landscape layouts. at first it would take off the background in landscape.
The X symbol is because you don't have the location ID for the city you are in.

tell more - location ID who? in the phone or what?
go to yahoo weather and search for location id. You'll find your city there.
i've got the right location number : GMXX4381
but by weather forecast there're the red X-Symbols again!
Hm I had this problem once, because there was no 10-day forecast! Yes, just what I thought. I tried your location ID and there is no 10 day forecast, that's why it's nt working.

(1) It does not get uninstalled. Reflashing OS only removes it cleanly.
(2) Sometimes the font is oversized in the current weather panel which cannot be fixed.
(3) The phone also hangs or becomes non responsive occassionally.

3) set update the homescreen to No. Otherwise the phone locks up.

No, it only works with WM6.1 Chome: I asked the same in the thread in the Excalibur section, and that was the answer.
I suggest you to try Mini Weather (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392267); it works also with WM6, not as a plugin but redesigning the background (so using no system resources).
Choosing the right icons it can produce nice results: you can see here the theme I use on my Wings.
what about uninstall procedure? is there any fix for that?

i've had a problem that sometimes when i install some other cab it would mess up the shortcuts, but then i just reinstall 16/20 cabfile and it works again

There are NO problems with this shortcuts cab at all. You can add and remove links to your hearts content on all 20 quick links.

No probs mate. Added 16 quick links CAB to my first post although I haven't tested it. My first experience with a 16 link CAB had a problem with quick links 10 to 16 not being able to remove or change them. Let me know if this one works a treat please.....

Just tested the 16 link CAB but I still get the same problem. Quick Links from 10 to 16 can't be removed. Does anyone have a 16 link CAB that works with no bugs?

The cab I linked you to was for my 16 Links and it does not have that issue.
But for those that need or want to use the 16 links at the top of this thread, or any others that have the issue of dead links on 2.5.1922, you can try this patch.
I will post the Patch, with no guarantees.
Install the 16 Links first, reset, then install this patch.
Please understand, this patch is not needed with my 16 Quick Links cab, as all links should work just fine, this is for those with the dead link issues only!

What version of Sense are you using?
Did you try the 16 links with landscape B4all built in, in the link I gave?
Only one I know that works with B4all. It's specifically for 2.5.1922 only!
My rom and sense are stock, I didnt want to install the all in one cab because I like the 50% tranparency on the item squares!
I had the same problem that I couldn't remove some of the Quick Links on the Voivicheck16.
At least this worked for me:
Leave one of the QL empty.
Go to HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/Home
There are 16 folders, 0 is the first, 15 the last.
Copy/delete/edit (whatever you think is easier) to make the content of your problem slot/folder the same as the empty one.
While I was doing that I also removed the name under the icon on the top 4 to give it a cleaner look. inside the 16 folders edit "DispName" - if you leave it empty it will leave a plus in the icon so I just put a Space and then saved it.

it doesn't change HDwallpaper. Only the default style of wallpaper.

I really like to see those beautiful images in my lock, home and menu screens.
This little program is probably the second I like the most for HD2, behing Cookies Home Tab.

can't be helped...HDwalls requires a reset after every change iirc (basically installs a cab everytime u change)...this one doesn't.

Which CHT stuff do you have installed and which version of every part? This is important because there are also some widgets outside who are not 100% ok. Because that i ask.

Ok two points ajom..
1st - your rom
the latest rom is 3.14.404.2 from HTC in dutch
the latest rom is 3.14.405.2 from HTC in english
possible an idea to update your rom, because there are a lot of issues fixed in the new roms. The second hand issue is one of them because sense issues.
2nd - Ort clock, BL weatherV3..
you are the guy number 18 with problems on BL widgets. I don't understand that because in 99,9% of all cases the widgets from MoonNah are ok and they are working. The most problems comes from older or 3rd party rom's.
My advise is update to the latest rom from HTC (stock rom). When you use a 3rd party rom then you have to ask by problems in the rom thread not here. Question before we invest more unpayed hours in this case, what will you do now?

I just checked the HTC website, I have the latest rom for my TD2. The rom numbers you are referring to are for the HD2.

Sorry my mistake, you mean TP2? Then you have the performance problem. This is the same as on my own TP2. On my HD2 it is working perfect. On the TP2 i have performance problems because all the CHT Stuff. The TP2 has only the half processor performance, badly. For that i can do nothing. It depence also on all the other stuff that is inastalled. It is a TP2 problem.
I have this one: HTC Topaz: Touch Diamond2. So same processor speed as TP2.
Ok no problem, I don't need the seconds.

I have a little graphic problem on the home screen of my HTC HD2 after installing Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut_m1619.
As image #1 attached, the date icon and the alarm icon are clearly separate; especially, the date icon on the left is too small than the alarm icon.
Besides, the same icon (date) is considerably separate from the calendar appointment link below.
Take a look image #2 attached to make a comparison!
Do you have the same problem?
It is possible to resolve without uninstalling Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut_m1619?

O.S. WM 6.5 PRO (original rom) 5.2.21913
I have a little graphic problem on the home screen of my HTC HD2 after installing Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut_m1619.
As image #1 attached, the date icon and the alarm icon are clearly separate; especially, the date icon on the left is too small than the alarm icon.
Besides, the same icon (date) is considerably separate from the calendar appointment link below.
Take a look image #2 attached to make a comparison!
Do you have the same problem?
It is possible to resolve without uninstalling Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut_m1619?

The alarm softkey in HOME tab is not working!

I've uninstalled Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut_m1619 and now I'm using Co0kie's Home Tab + CHT Editor and I solve my problems.

I have exactly the same pb with Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut ou 20 shcut
: alam d'nt work ...
I format and install just Vovichek_Jamrecords_16shcut ou 20 shcut : this applcation block alam button .... Grrrr
But I d'nt install CHT just for to have 16 or 20 shcut : too big application.
- I find other 16 application shcut : but there is background image for all
tabs with .... Me I want just 16 shcut, no other application with ...
So, at this time I use standard 9 shcut of WM 6.5
- if you have 16 shcut (just this, no application with), please tell me more

You have to use a newer version of vovichek.
m1922.2911 works for me.
