Hi, Ive had a look around and used the seach but I couldn't find what I was looking for,
Does anyone have a cab of the 16x and 20x shortcuts for the home tab? All of the ones I have found do more than just change the amount of shortcuts......

i've had a problem that sometimes when i install some other cab it would mess up the shortcuts, but then i just reinstall 16/20 cabfile and it works again

There are NO problems with this shortcuts cab at all. You can add and remove links to your hearts content on all 20 quick links.

No probs mate. Added 16 quick links CAB to my first post although I haven't tested it. My first experience with a 16 link CAB had a problem with quick links 10 to 16 not being able to remove or change them. Let me know if this one works a treat please.....

Just tested the 16 link CAB but I still get the same problem. Quick Links from 10 to 16 can't be removed. Does anyone have a 16 link CAB that works with no bugs?

The cab I linked you to was for my 16 Links and it does not have that issue.
But for those that need or want to use the 16 links at the top of this thread, or any others that have the issue of dead links on 2.5.1922, you can try this patch.
I will post the Patch, with no guarantees.
Install the 16 Links first, reset, then install this patch.
Please understand, this patch is not needed with my 16 Quick Links cab, as all links should work just fine, this is for those with the dead link issues only!

What version of Sense are you using?
Did you try the 16 links with landscape B4all built in, in the link I gave?
Only one I know that works with B4all. It's specifically for 2.5.1922 only!
My rom and sense are stock, I didnt want to install the all in one cab because I like the 50% tranparency on the item squares!
I had the same problem that I couldn't remove some of the Quick Links on the Voivicheck16.
At least this worked for me:
Leave one of the QL empty.
Go to HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/Home
There are 16 folders, 0 is the first, 15 the last.
Copy/delete/edit (whatever you think is easier) to make the content of your problem slot/folder the same as the empty one.
While I was doing that I also removed the name under the icon on the top 4 to give it a cleaner look. inside the 16 folders edit "DispName" - if you leave it empty it will leave a plus in the icon so I just put a Space and then saved it.

I like smaberg's Touch X 1-percent battery indicator, but I think HTC icons look strange next to it (they don't fit the Sense look at all IMO). So I tried to replace them with nice and soft WM6.5 icons. After some editing I ended up with replaced icons and modified battery icons - now it shows more steps like the smaberg's one but without numbers. It behaves similarly:
- 100 to 31% it's white
- 30 to 3% changes color from yellow to red
- 2 and 1% shows battery with red exclamation mark
What the cab does:
- installs Leo_phcanOverbmp_mod.dll (phone, WiFi and data connection icons from shellres.192.dll, modified battery icons)
- installs and replaces HTCVolumeControl.dll (speaker icons from shellres.192.dll)
- installs SDK certificates
To use:
- download, unzip, install the cab and soft-reset.

I don't, I made this is made for HD2. Maybe when I'm less busy, I could't try to make QVGA version (don't know if it differs though). I can post sources if there's someone interested in making it.

It's possible but you had to edit the dll. The FInixNOver's guide in the first thread will help you. I'm sorry but I can't work on it. Maybe I could find sources somewhere if you are interested.

what i have noticed from the 20 shortcuts, some weather animation do not work. for instance when it sunny or stormy, the animation does not work.
however when it rainy and coudy the animation works. VERY STRANGE!!
What i have also noticed that i cant changethe home background
do you have the same probem with the homepage?
Also having problems with Dutty's new rom and the shortcuts background for buttons are off and alarm button no longer works....

You should all really raise these issues on the thread where you downloaded the ROM. It sounds like these are ROM issues, so I'm sure Miri would want to know about them, and he's obviously the best person to help you out.
i believe it's because of the new beta manila build 1922 instead of 1921.....
It is... THe latest Sense is having problems with ALL the shortcuts cabs... I have not found one that does not. I think it has to do with the fact that the new Manila builds are designed to work in landscape as well for the home tab.... this is causing problems with how the original shortcut cabs work. We are going to need a completely new build of this tweak/mod to get it to work with future Manila versions I think.....
Is someone out there capable enough to rework the original app to get it to render properly? Who is the original designer of this mod? I am sure this will be sorted eventually.... it does not strike me as difficult a problem as the bluetooth issues people are having with Voice command (due to the bluetooth stack).
I say all of this of course while at the same time having no idea as to how to do any of it! Someone help us please?
I found the problem for the clock, it cannot show other country time after use 16 or 20 icons.

It does not fix that issue. But look at what I wrote: It says BG4All which means background for all tabs; something that was impossible just like "20 shortcuts". But now, at least one of those problems is solved.

my manilla version is 2.5.19.21
I'll install the special version of 16 shortcuts for this version and the mail function don't work !!
I can't do anything in mail tab, it's impossible to open, read or write new email.

When I installed the 16 or 20 shortcuts cab file, there are more changings included then only the shortcuts.
I only want more shortcuts, thats what I really would like to have.
I'm using "Vovichek_Jamrecords 16 TT UPDATED" and the weather animations work fine...

The website is all in russian, i tried to register but then it came up with the security check box (captcha) where it shows a picture of letters and numbers to verify that I'm not a bot, the only problem is, I don't have russian characters on my keyboard! I have 16 and 20 posted HERE that work just fine on 2011 and 2012.
Just remove the two files mentioned for the calendar page mod.
As it has an issue with the year view on newer roms.

20 links, 4 on home will give you the 20 links without the retractable slider.
The carbon stealth slider is just a skin for the cab that includes a stealth slider tab.
Here is the cab for the stealth slider only.
You would need to install this and then the carbon one to skin it.
Neither if you don't want it.

Ok, I do have multiple cabs for each posted on different sites, so I may not have posted the 4 on home without the retractable slider.
Try this one, if it does not work, I can just tell you which files to delete to restore your slider.

Yes that is an issue effecting both 2011 and 2012, as the cab was originally made for 2.5.1922, but also works on 2011 and 2012, aside from that calendar issue.
Anyhow to fix that:
Delete the 6f3f0c16_manila and 071b4c9a_manila files from your windows folder and they should be replaced by the roms default ones.
You will need to use something like Total Commander to do it.

It is not working for me. I already had Cookies 1.6.1 installed. I installed this mix cab over it but I do not get the results. I uninstalled both and tried to install only the mix cab, but it got worse.

If I may make a suggestion here.
I would wait for Co0kie's Home Tab 1.7 to release.
It may not have tasks on the home tab, but it will have many new features that I think you will like.
It also will not be missing all of the registry entries that are missing in this cab.
That is why this is not working for you.

The fix works great! Now I have the complete "mix" (the best of three worlds)!
I have attached a screenshot here for all interested users to see.
By the way, any other analog clocks we can install? I used the Jaguaralani New Omega clock which works almost perfect, except that the hour hand is not original. But i could live with it, for the moment.

I have made a simple modification to the people tab. I didn't like how the boxes arround the pictures took up so much space.
After editing a couple of the manila files I have come up with this. I have tested it on the HD2 with sense 2018, but should also be compatable with sense 2021.

Guys the cab I included didnt seem to install properly. Use the zip file I provided and use a program drop to windows made by Nullstring which is awsome.
Simply install his software copy the manila files into the drop to win folder and use it to transfer them to the windows directory!
