sorry was more meaning to set it into the Heron rom.
The other forum for Dream someone has stripped rosie and standard launcher out and added this in.
I was thinking that as this would likely allow a real Rosie feel and indeed some more benefits, is it not possible that the hero rom could run a lot faster.
we would then have all the benefits of hero plus the feel of rosie plus the gestures.
Hope that explains my need for a genius

What seems to be happening for you.
I am using back hero rom and just used the adb install command to put both the widget and the open gesture.
is that what you did.
I have a feeling that you might not be able to do it with other launcher in as this isnt on the rom I am using
hope that helps because this wroks a charm real fast.
Just need the help of a Dev

actually i tried to install the open gesture twice as i thought i had the widget installed. its all on now and looks great. transform the french 2.4 rom which is by far the most stable here. looks like hero with android base. i am happy now. just wish it would let me install weather widget so i get the weather too. obviously the clock is all for looks as it dont update time but hey it looks good but the clock has to go

Time updates for me.
I was thinking that someone has made a HTC widget to work in the clock so surely they can do the same with Weather etc.
Time might update for me and not you as I am running Hero rom by jepeara
I agree is weather could be done and maybe calender then who need rosie I think this might be better .
I have no lag and flash player and sense ui for multi touch.
Problem solved just need a dev to help pt it all together becuse this is fast absolutely no lag on a hero rom and looks like rosie

ah i wuill flash hero v1.4 and disable touchflo and add this app......... nice replacement mate you are right. hero v1.4 is much quicker when home is enabled and not touchflo. now i can use hero rom without losing the looks and speed!

Can you report back how it performs I am using the stripped down version of hero not fatalitys version 1.4 so would be really keen to fine out how it performs.
Just thought I would run it on one rom for a period of time due to degreding performance issues seen on hero roms in the past.

i love that fatal1ty hero rom but 1.4 is just too slow and battery hungry. 1.2 is still better than 1.4 in my opinion as more time was spent getting it right. will try it on 1.2 now

right i installed this over fatal1ty hero v1.4 and disabled touchflo to get google base which works rather well. i enable the open gesture home replacement and widget and i now have all i asked for............ a hero rom with speed and stability not compromised! been using for hours now and its swank! hope some of the chefs can incorporate this into one of their builds. google home with hero look this defo is! very good find friend!
edit: looks like the powers that be have done it again. closed access to the page where the downloads were. says no access! don't know why? hate it when that happens.

Does this work on a standard Rom? What does this do exactly? Multi touch in browser?

it allows you to makes gestures on screen to launch programs or contacts by the pattern you draw on screen.
No Idea why download stopped by this in a rom would be fine.....

right i woke up this morning to find my battery totally flat after fully charging prior to settling in for the night bout 12. i did diasble geotag in widget setup after install. something ate my battery throughout the night so i think the base that is used for this is of out most importance. i am now charging my phone after the initial panic of thinking it was dead.......... back on spfrance and will stay there from as he is incoporated the clock without using this app!

i am getting no issues at all battery still half full no charge since installing yesterday morning.

so i guess it must be something in rom
oh and I have a colleague who has it installed over NK02's ion rom and he has no issues either

ya i agree. i installed it over fatal1ty v1.4 which is a battery hog anyway. anyway it works so thats the main thing. clocks starts updating after boot

That depends,
I was commenting on how it works with Roms and the developement of, and how a program like this could be used as home in a hero rom to try and improve it.
so in my opinion No but each to their own

Still running really smooth have now tried on 2 hero versions if only I could strip rosie out think this would be a good alternative

update: thanks to chuckhriczko we have an update.zip. googlebits included, livewallpapers are running, except for nexus ones, this is working on the AOSP 2.0.1 build, includes the new music app, youtube, new 3d gallery, its slow and glitchy but it does load,launcher2 is installed but just gives a black screen and force closes, most likely due to lack of openGL but the still wallpapers from it work!!!and updated host scripts to block ads.
Wipe, flash and enjoy.

Update:
i have the nexus LWP to sit on loading, no longer force closes, i have the nexus themed launcher installed, flan clock app, gumbo kernal installed, protected apps showing in market, will upload new version once i get super users to work right

I think this is a 2.0.1 ROM, not 2.1 but I could be mistaken.

its 2.0.1, openGL is needed for the 3d gallery, not lwp

batt life is not bad, although i havent kept them constantly running, trying to figure out the nexus papers

It looked like it put some serious lag when switching between the three homescreens. Did you experience that, or was it just from the quality of the video? Nonetheless, that is sweet

there was a little lag wit the digital rain (matrix) wallpaper

How is it that someone who can figure out how to get that running on his Hero has no idea how to get a camera to focus on something?

Does the Google Voice app work correctly on 2.0.1? That's the one issue that's prevented me from using the 2.1 ROM on a daily basis.

Just like any other rom, I assume no responsibility for your device. Also, This rom should be small enough (I believe), to be flashed to a stock SPL. I'm using DANGER, so couldn't tell you for sure.

Can't really say if you'll need to or not. If it doesn't work well for you, wipe, and then flash.

I shall post results...rapidshare dusnt want me to dl the rom xD

I would imagine so. Run a bart or nandroid backup first, then test it and let us know!
A theme won't replace anything in the kernel, and since 99% of the filesystem is directly from Super D, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Cough* I can confirm that you can flash this over your original Super D rom, most things will be working execpt custom widgets which you will have to add onto your home screens again.

So, anyone? Speed? Stability? Can somebody give us a full rating?

Yeah it's still pretty damn fast(I have GDE on too) loading apps is quick and responsive, I can barely see the diff =Pscrolling is a bit more choppier but can be barely noticed. I can play all my games smoothly now like ShootU! I give it a 9/10 =P
EDIT: Only thing missing is Car Home and the Super D wallpapers.

Car home can be extracted from Super D, and pushed to /system/app. I took it out sincee I never used it.

Having tested it for a long time now I come to the conclusion that fastTest with your cyanogen kernel( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5673928&postcount=19 ) seems to scroll a tiny bit smother than this rom. wg kernel is faster on other things though. Damn everything is superfast on both! Love you

Well, It did not break my phone! It is actually pretty speedy, and everything seems to work, nice job
I guess I will run it for a while and see if it breaks, but so far so good, although I am not a huge fan of the Nexus Launcher, I suppose I can get used to it.

includes HTC sense?

Very Nice.
Music works. tested with android player, mixzing, last.fm, iheartradio
Facebook works.
Video works. tested with mixzing
Youtube works.
HTC_IME works. *shock*
swype installs and works.
camera works
camcorder works and records.
3d acceleration works tested with labyrinth lite and dice
i don't have no real don't works at the moment...
Nice rom man very nice!
the only thing that doesn't work are the same things that don't work with the original stock mytouch such as wifi tethering and google voice 3.0+

Did you read anything? how can people help you if you dont even know what your looking at. Its for the fender mytouch LE/ 1.2 which is a 32a.
Very good job, I like everything about it. I prefer black/darker themes but this one just works. No problems except for some reason Swapper will not start.Has worked all every other rom and themed version but it will not start th swap partition. Oh well, its not like I "need" it, just got used to having it on in case.

2 hours later getting a few problems....
Swapper does not turn on swap partition.
Twicca FCs on direct messages
Meltus audio hack says it works but does nothing.
Htc and reg music fc every time they are opened.
Other then that lol, its great. But all that does not work are what I need lol

is there a white aosp taskbar theme out there for a 1.5 rom based off of 1.5c or pancake?

Dude seriously, no one in their right mind should be running 1.5 anymore. The simple answer will be no. There is and will never be a white taskbar with 1.5. Reason being, all the files are odexed.

Until Toast releases his .29 kernel and Freshtoast gets bugs worked out I'm sticking with Overclocked Gumbo. It just freaking works. It's fast, stable and other than the market being ugly I don't see many dealbreaking differences.

2.1 is a beta and not final...1.5 is a final and rock solid. think about your statement.

personally im thinking bout going back to 1.5 myself.. 2.1 in all forms atm still has bugs..its kinda getting like flashing wm roms..lol since 2.1 is still beta that is.. with 1.5 everything works and its fast.. even co-pilot works..( still cant get it to work on 2.1 roms.) so really to me the only thing on 2.1 worth keeping is google nav. and the better market.. so fixxxer

ill try to, been busy here lately and i have a funeral to attend on saturday. i really wanted a white aosp taskbar though.
