Qisda phone soon to come out with possible 1280 × 600 or 1024 × 480. It will have a 4" screen.

No news on this one? It looks pretty sweet.......

1280 × 600? Why no 1280 × 720, then, to be able to play back 720p (HD) videos without resizing / cropping?

I don't think it's 1280 × 600. from other posts i have read that the 600 is a higher number. would post link but i'm on my phone right now maybe we'll see some news at cebit?

[Q] Omnia 7 x Lumia 800

So, I have an Omnia 7 and am really happy with it, I think it's a great phone with a great operating system, even if it is a phone that was launched in 2010, I think it is still modern and up to date.
Now, I bought a Nokia N9 and really liked the display and finishing materials so
I started thinking what could be if WP had it, then imagine what could
be Lumia 800...
Well, comparing both phones i check that:
3G Network Frequencies:
Lumia 800: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
Omnia 7: HSDPA 900 / 2100
Dimensions and Weight:
Lumia 800: 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm, 76.1 cc 142g
Omnia 7: 122.4 x 64.2 x 11 mm 138g
Display:
Lumia 800: AMOLED 16M colors 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches (~252 ppi pixel density)
Omnia 7: Super AMOLED 16M colors 480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches (~233 ppi pixel density)
Camera:
Lumia 800: 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash
Omnia 7: 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
Chipset, CPU and GPU:
Lumia 800: Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1.4 GHz Scorpion Adreno 205
Omnia 7: Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz Scorpion Adreno 200
Battery:
Lumia 800: Standard battery, Li-Ion 1450 mAh (BV-5JW)
Omnia 7: Standard battery, Li-Ion 1500 mAh
Well, i got this results and what i think that:
Lumia 800 wins in 3G network, camera and Chipset,CPU and GPU
Omnia 7 wins in display and battery
What u thinks guys? Does it worth changing? If anynone could help me with good facts, i really appreciate.
Thanks!
If they had the same sized screens, Lumian wins hands down.
That's why Lumia 900 is the best smartphone rignt now in the world, for me. just the design is so awesome.. Plus, the 900 will not use pentile.

HTC J Butterfly better then Apples iPhone

What i have found on a german news site:
Full HD in your hand:
At an event in Tokyo HTC now presented its latest smartphone, the "Butterfly". This smartphone allows to play HD movies in full resolution, namely in 1920x1080 pixels.
This means 440 pixels per inch. The iPhone only creates 326th. The screen size of the HTC has five inches, here the current iPhone is only on four.

[Q] Display resolution - 1920x1200

In the introduction of the Sheild tablet on the page where all the specs are mentioned, it says 1900x1080p. but the correct display is 1900x1200. Am i right?
Yes. It is 1920 by 1200.
1920x1200 is the 16:10 version of 1080p. In marketing terms, this tablet is 1080p Full HD because the average consumer doesn't really know about 16:10 and 1080p is pretty universal. Rest assured that the Shield tablet is 1920x1200.

The Dream Smartphone - Specs

Okay, so I came across this article about the dream smartphone. Basically, it lists all the specs a dream smartphone of 2014 will have.
The Dream Smartphone Specifications:
Display (Screen): 5.2-inch AMOLED 1080 x 1920 pixels (424 ppi)
Camera: 16 MP, 5312 x 2988 pixels, f/2.2, OIS, iPhone image processing (5 MP Front)
Performance: Snapdragon 810 (8core, 64bit), Adreno 430, 3 GB of Ram
Battery: 3500 mAh with Motorola Turbo Charging
Speakers: Dual Front-facing stereo speakers
Design: 5.54 x 2.85 x 0.37 inch (146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm)
Operating System: Android 5.0 Lollipop
I personally would go for a bigger display with the same dimensions if possible. Bigger 4000mAh battery would be nice too.
