OMNIA bricked or not? - General Questions and Answers

Guys I need some help with bringing my omnia to live state. I tried flashing it with a ROM flashing my BOOT to 1.37 (even though I already had it pre-flashed to my phone before) and the PDA . The BOOT flashed fine, but the PDA got stuck on 37%. I disconnected my phone from the PC and restarted my omnia and when it switched on it started showing the image that is in the attach. I hope somebody will help me in finding a way out of this situation

Image File Corrupt

I'm trying to flash a new ROM and can't get past the USPL stage
I run the 'uspl_116_jockyw.bat' and pause it on the "start MTTY [or whatever] or RUU" and I then try to the run the ROMUpdateUtilitiy.exe.
All goes well, but at 100%, it says "Image file is corrupt" and then that's it, it restarts.
I've tried different versions of the file with no success
Is it to do with my Application unlock? When I run that is says something along the lines of "SDA [or phone] is not unlockable" but I click unlock, and it instantly says "unlock successful"
At the moment I've only been able to install Opera. WIFIRouter and Messenger won't install.
Thanks
first unlock with the sda unlock. then flash uspl. run rom update utility.exe. after that run flash.exe on whichever rom it is that u wish to flash. if this doesnt work, do a hard reset and repeat all the steps. 100% it will work. when u get to the final prompt asking u to start mtty or whatever, dont press any key to continue the process. instead run ruu.exe. itll work
So is it normal for the Application Unlock utility to say "This device is not unlockable" [or something along those lines].
I can't install any programs on the deivce either. It says they don't have the correct permissions. Is that not what the app unlocker is meant to do?
EDIT:
OK, so this is what I am doing:
1) hard reset the phone [hold soft keys, turn on, press end etc]
2) connect to ActiveSync
3) Run SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe

}
4) I click OK and it claims to have unlocked.
5) remove SD card and turn phone off then on.
6) Run uspl_116_jockyw.bat. I hit enter a few times,my phone then asks me to confirm running an app. It does this twice, the last being harat.exe. Screen goes black with Tux the Penguin.
I halt on this screen [Ignore the error - I screen capped this on a later attempt without hard reset]
I then run ROMUpdateUtility.exe check the boxes, and click next etc. It goes to RGB bars, then a grey screen with a progress bar. The bar gets to 100% then I get this error
and the phone resets?
What am I doing wrong?
Any help is appreciate. I can't stand the Orange crippled ROM.
Thanks
Right HERE is the solution for any Orange SPV e650 users wanting to unlock and flash.
These 3 files are crucial:
MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack.PREP.CAB
MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack_0.5.CAB
RemoveSecurity.CAB
Only once those have been run can you follow the steps found on the wiki page.
Thanks to everyone who works on these ROMs. It's is simply awesome the work you do.
I salute you!

How do I remove EnergyRom on Diamond?

I'm a newbie trying to find the perfect ROM on a HTC Touch Diamond, I've followed the instructions posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211, and managed to install this ROM provided by Energyrom: EnergyROM_21864_DIAMOND_10.Nov.2009_StandardM2.5.
I'd like to install a lighter ROM that is as close to the standard HTC/ WM 6.5 as possible and am looking for recommendations. But first I need to remove the Energyrom and have no idea how to do this? Activesync works intermittently if I wipe the device, and set the activesync settings to not seek permission, and remove all partnershps from my PC. But as soon as I try to run the RomUpdate Utility it fails to run because off a bad connection with the phone. Then the Windows Mobility Centre just shows an error and I have to go through the process all over.
Any help much appreciated
Welcome to forums
No need to remove the ROM, when you find the new ROM you want to flash just flash it and that´s all!
Thanks Orb.. ...however..
...The real problem is the ActiveSync. Once I have used the 'wipe device' control in the settings, and removed previous partnerships, I can connect the phone via Active sync. However, by the time the Rom Update Utility is running it appears that the connection is dropped, the Rom Update Utility cant communicate with the phone and then when I reconnect I just get an Error Icon in Windows Mobile Device Centre. This is preventing me from overwiritng with a new ROM.
I would perform a hard reset instead wipe device option.
Instructions here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Diamond_HardReset
Try after HR and most likely should work, then you can change ROM
Still no luck...
Thanks ORB, but this still does't work, the phone is connected through activesync but all rom update utilities just stop with an Error 224

This is sooo frustrating - is there any way to fix the activesync, or some way of removing/ replacing energyRom, even getting the phone back to HTC standard would be better than the current state.
thnx
Flash from internal storage
Howdy,
Not sure I'd blame the rom, more likely a USB problem or activesync has always seemed flaky. Anyway do the flash from the device.. Copy about any ROM file to root of the internal storage area (either in storage mode or try active sync but it's slower & seems you're having issues) but name it DIAMIMG.nbh then reset your phone while holding down VOLUME DOWN & BACK buttons and you'll get the upgrade menu where it should tell you it found an OS rom & it's ready & you just press POWER button to start the process, resetting it when it says it's completed successfully.. That has been pretty much the way I've updated roms on the Diamond for a long time now (Really handy to have a few roms on there & just rename when you want to flash it..) & seems MUCH faster & much more reliable & should solve your problem.
Hope that helps.

I had exactly the same experience when attempting to update to 6.0, however my device (TL-10) could charge. You have to get it into fastboot mode. The screen looks very similar to that one (I can't remember the exact button combination, but I think it was Vol+ and power. Then you need to flash stock recovery (if you don't have it already) through ADB commands on your PC.
After that it's merely downloading the correct (full) package and installing it with the aforementioned three-button reset.
Hope this helps!

It's a difficult question to ask. If your device still had a decent charge remaining before it crashed and burned you might still want to try to push the wipe / update, regardless of whether it's charging or not.
By the way, there won't be any charging indicators whilst in fastboot / rescue mode, the device will simply just stay on (and warm up a bit).

Galaxy s6 - I messed up and now i cannot install the firmware lol

So.. i was attempting to remove the google authentication bs from my phone. found a thread that told me to download Odin, and install this file..
COMBINATION_TMB_FA50 xxxx
I checked before "doing" this and my phone was branded as " G920TUVU5FQK1 "
I should also note, that i re-downloaded that "combination file" crap.. "COMBINATION_TMB_FA50_G920TUVU5APJ1_TMBFAC_CL6309376_QB11118299_REV02_user_mid_noship.tar" -- Which - when i looked it up was supposed to be for "G920TUVU5FQK1" system.
however, when i load the phone up now,, it says the Factory Binary loadup screen.. and now shows the phone as " G920TUVU6ARA1 "
rofl
So i looked everywhere. Went to the dumb site and downloaded my actual firmware 9for the QK1) -
G920TUVU5FQK1_G920TTMB5FQK1_G920TUVU5FQK1_HOME.tar.md5
I open Odin as admin, load in the AP section, annnnnnd this is what happens.

So now im a little frustrated... Not sure what to do.
I have used 2 different cables when connecting the computer, installed the samsung usb drivers etc.. i just cant solve this and now im asking for help.
(please provide any links you can to further help me with my problem!!!)
How screwed am i? how can i fix this? ( i do have a 2nd computer i can attempt some stuff on.)
Thanks
idk this is still works but u should try
Testing now
Video did not help,. the smart app thing didnt even give me an option to factory data reset it.
I dont know what to do. I have no idea why the phone says this new PDA, clearly i installed a combination file that was for a diff PDA.
Can anybody help. Odin just Fails, Fails Fails Fails.
bump!
I dont know what to do anymore -=(
When i connect the phone to my computer and "Turn it on on" it makes my computer blue screen of death rofl.
in download mode it doesnt though.
bump - last attempt before a take a hammer to it =)
It's unlikely due to the PDA (it's just an OS revision). Can you link us to the location where you downloaded the file ? I guess it is the content of that package that caused trouble on your phone.
Try to flash the latest firmware available (you can download it through the SamFirm software or from SamMobile.com).
Well ironically out of the 9 (nine) AP downloads i tried, all failed... but when i downloaded a stock firmware which had 4 files - it got to like 95%. and stayed there for about an hour ( not sure if thats normal?? or if i should have left it in?)
I honestly have been trying to find that exact 4 file download for my PDA version or w.e. (since this version was for a completely diff PDA - i assume thats why it stopped at 95%)
15 hours later the download is like 90% complete lol. I really... really hope this stupid downlod is not a single AP file again sigh..
Does anybody have a reccomendation for the G920TUVU5FQK1 system? ( all 4 files included )
ive googled my ass off only to find ripoff password protected .rars and "make an account to download. but on wait now you have to pay bull****"
Once i unplugged it at 95% - it now says that the OS cannot load - so thats a good sign, the Factory Binary bull**** is off of it.
I just need toget my hands on the correct 4 file .rar (all 4 files for odin) and im square.)
Much appreciated.
Hello.
Would anybody be willing to help me. I am begging here, over 3 weeks without my phone, i dont know what to do.
I would very much like it if somebody could LINK me a legit link to a Galaxy S6 920T Stock Firmware ( ALL 4 files... not just 1)
Every time i freaking find one.... i download it... it asks for a password to extract the gd .rar =(
Please help me!!!
