Hi,
I've tested Samsung Omnia II Touchplayer to play .rmvb files and it's fantastic!
I wonder if there are any good rmvb players for HD2?
Thks.

For sure? I didn't know the Omnia 2 touchplayer supported RMVB files. In fact it failed to play when I loaded it in Omnia 2. I'm not sure about those older rmvb files, but most recent files failed to play. HD2 so far only has one rmvb plugin that works slightly (laggy and inverted image)

yup ken. There were some good cooked lite roms in omnia II forum using the touchplayer and i've no issues playing rmvb files. thks for the links, would try them out. hopefully, there are new cabs, apps that would be as good as touchplayer on HD2 (something similar to youtube apps would be good enuff).

hi guys,
Just wondering if any player software for playing flv files in PPC - winmob 2003? (videos downloaded from youtube, etc)
Thanks..
Not as far as I know, I still had to run my FLV files through eRightSoft SUPER. Take a look at thread here:
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?p=1159947
(note, someone's going to say SUPER sucks because of sync, to which I say try the 29.97 fps setting.)
Nothing wrong with SUPER, does the job well and it's free.
Could someone please confirm that Media Player plays videos in .asf format on any of the following machines: on Elf / Touch or Niki / Touch Dual or Polaris / Touch Cruise
I know that it should play it, but I tried on a WinMO Motorola and it did not play.
Any help is appreciated.
in wm2003se .asf files can be played by using default windows media player.
i played in my magician , not sure about wm6

Check if you have these dll's in \Windows ....
Cheers

I tried to open the file on a smartflip. WMP actually sees it as an audio file.
Any clues?
Seems as though TCPMP does not work on WM 6.1 from what Ive seen/read.
Anyone get this working?
Same problem. Now i use "Coreplayer" V 1.2.5 / 4506 insted. Works fine...
Best regards
I've used coreplayer many htx devices on wm6.1. No problems here. Maybe a file error?
I use coreplayer and tcpmp on my kaiser (wm6.1), but 2 things I noticed about coreplayer is:
1. It doesnt play all .flv movies, any flv movies I save directly and try to play it just shows it as if it's loading, but there should be nothing to load.. it's already on my device!
2. Is there a way to view a playlist and add and remove files from the playlist? like on tcpmp you can just click playlist.. on coreplayer i cant find one! I found a "now playing" but wasnt able to add items.
This version http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387 should work
Theres a good thread over in the Diamond section about video playback and some settings Sketchy found that work pretty well with WMP but corePlayer chokes and dies:

I recently upgraded from a Titan/Mogul to the Raphael/Touch Pro. Previously I was using TCPMP to play videos in odd formats the WMP doesn't recognize. With the release of nueTVOut I need a capable media player now more than ever. As far as I know TCPMP is QVGA/WQVGA only, does anyone know of an alternative program or other solution that is VGA/Touch Pro compatible?
Have you tried the commercial version of TCPMP: CorePlayer?

Very nice, I can open the video files. However, a new problem has arrisen. Now the video doesn't run smoothly, even with everything closed.

No it isn't only for QVGA and WQVGA. Tcpmp works great on my touch pro. Have you tried it yet?

Dear all HD2 user,
I tray to play Rm files but I cant do that by realplayer
but you can do that by old cab
Play rm in WMP (must be alone without realplayer).cab
Real One Player Arabic.cab
Real One Player v 2.0.0.28.cab
RMVB codec in PPC.rar
Updated in 19-6-2010
Did you try it? Both do not work on my HD2
i installed real one player a while ago... and then i couldn't uninstall it, i had to hard reset... I don't know which version this is... it was a big problem because in HK we stream tv shows off 3G and the browswer was bringing up a carshing real one player instead of WMP.
