try the rom in my signiature, it has them and it is super fast and with 576 ram

People app is a base part of Sense or miri left it out intentionally. You can load it via the People tab, Phone or SMS tab.
But why a new item, why not asked in the miri thread.
I'm on a Rooted and s-off Desire S and my question is: there's a way to enable the old-TV Screen off animation like on NEXUS S?
On Galaxy S it's enabled also if in the firmware samsung erease it...

i've got a developer phone...but if your phone is s-off you can root it with superoneclick root

The animation is still there I believe just not activated like on the Galaxy S.

Well i just got my first andriod phone... and im wondering what will you guys be doing once HTC or a xda dev obtains perm root s-off ? Im trying to figure out what to do... when that happens..

so far with temp root i removed all that bloatware battery life increased by ~2 hr
I will try RcMix ROM's, much better then stock
Probably first going to remove, not disable, apps I'm not using. I've used the stock rom for 1½ year with my Hero so I probably gonna leave it be as it is. After a few months I might install a optimized rom with Launcher Pro.

After installing the last bulletproof rom, the stock sense music widget fails to play or show any song, also i cant find the music app in the drawer.
any ideas ?

I never had an issue with my Music app with BP. Do you think maybe when you downloaded it, it may have had an error? Did the MD sum match

Hello Guys,
I made this thread to ask if anyone needs any rom or kernel which has a dead link. I have a 40gig folder which is full of stuff for the glacier, and since my glacier doesn't work properly, I was gonna delete it. I kept it though for now in case anyone needs anything from it.
I also have some unofficial roms ...(coughsoulsensecough).. lol.
Interested to see what that's all about, if u know what I mean (cough, nudge, cough) lol

I would love to see what you have in your stash. I was just given this device, and there's not much current development happening. I've heard of a certain Rom *cough* that I haven't been able to find, and I would also like the scoop on what kernels are out there. Almost every Rom I try, I keep running into the same issues. IE: lag and graphic glitches.
