Now its a super blend of different roms and stuffs
This is based off mligns sensehero (with maxisma twerks and some secret additions too) just made it magic friendly

i thought it would be unhelpful if it was testkeys and not released keys? for all that commotion about DDR not wanting to release it to protect his sources, im surprised he gave it up.

So what exactly is this? How is this different from other hero roms?

the difference is its suppoes to be the highly anticipated 32A sense ui update for magics. native rosie for magic. different from other hero updates is this is not meant for hero, so no porting is needed to get it to work on magics.

I dont know what *** changed out with 32b parts or what the hardware differences are if you want ill post one with the 32a kernel

yah the people widget is fatty i kinda figured after flashing that it wasnt the real deal due to speed and some other things that didnt feel right

Z.X.D's 1.6 (v0.5) Get it While its Hot!

This Rom is using supper d's kernel and build for now, and is heavily optimized. We took the fastest Roms made for 32b(the g1, and the mytouch 3g for people who didnt know that) and combined them together to make this Rom. domenuk the creator of blue magic, xillius200 the creator of OpenRemix, and my self first time Dev decided to bring a extremely fast, and stable Rom to the community, and this is what we came up with.. hope you like it
This version introduces something fresh and new. I think and hope it works.
after some weeks every rom tends to get slower, even if you uninstall all your apps. what often helps is clearing all that google cache stuff.
this rom does this on boot
I am quite shure it will be included in most of the roms anytime soon... but for now this makes that rom the fastest avaliable
(Plus they will hopefully have my name somewhere in the credits )
Also zipaligning everything on boot. no longer neede for apps built with sdk 1.6 but.. you never know... Thanks to wesGarner for that script
The Idea is based on a time when it bothered me that my phone was soo lame, and on cachemate from market.
If you want all your caches cleared (Literally all... I think it clears hundrets of apps), buy it. Also If you want to donate, buy this app instead
Also Using Meltus Equalizer lib. hope it works
And Stuff from fasttest, csdi, blue magic, and cyan. (Credits )
Other stuff that's new: JIT Dalvik enabled by default.
This and Ramhack will be avaliable through spare parts, later (hopefully)
what might not work (as always) is compcache. but i'm not shure (try ^^)

Taking something, adding something, improving something... that's esier than actually building a rom from scratch/source - but it has to been done anyway.
I guess most people don't have time for creating an own theme, implementing everything and so on.
with many different packages, there is a huge variety.
Why should the same work be done over and over again by everybody?
You can just find one that suits you best.
You don't have to flash them, if you want to do all this stuff on your own
Eclair is still not superior to donut imho. Still waiting for an official magic 32b build.

is there a white aosp taskbar theme out there for a 1.5 rom based off of 1.5c or pancake?
i tried one but it causes a boot loop.

Dude seriously, no one in their right mind should be running 1.5 anymore. The simple answer will be no. There is and will never be a white taskbar with 1.5. Reason being, all the files are odexed.

Until Toast releases his .29 kernel and Freshtoast gets bugs worked out I'm sticking with Overclocked Gumbo. It just freaking works. It's fast, stable and other than the market being ugly I don't see many dealbreaking differences.

2.1 is a beta and not final...1.5 is a final and rock solid. think about your statement.

personally im thinking bout going back to 1.5 myself.. 2.1 in all forms atm still has bugs..its kinda getting like flashing wm roms..lol since 2.1 is still beta that is.. with 1.5 everything works and its fast.. even co-pilot works..( still cant get it to work on 2.1 roms.) so really to me the only thing on 2.1 worth keeping is google nav. and the better market.. so fixxxer
get on the 1.5 rom.. make it no-sense oc'd and apps2sd and u will be my hero..lol

if you look at paul's changelog, you'll notice that he manually odexed v5, so v4 isn't already odexed. I'm porting v4 already.

nope. tmobile usa uses different frequencies, each dedicated to upload and download. sorry, no 3g.

But edge would work correct? I only get edge most of the time anyway At home I use wifi so the pulse it has a nice screen like the iphone which is one of the things I hate about mt3g Do you think this is better than mt3g?

If someone can port this, lets get it optimized and addicted to steroids before a release. The MTSlide ports are laggy as hell after a days work, but this looks promising.
Last time devs were working on the pulse roms they quit because of things that they would fix broke other things. Soon it became something like "Fixed wifi, but broke BT" kinda thing. Lets hope this is better!

I lol'ed at your post. It did seem pretty darn laggy in the video though, so I'm not sure if it's something I want to use as my daily rom. GL though

I agree. That's not msm7200 turbo performance. If we get this to boot completely, we'll see. Not too much work left for that.
Here is a link for a build of mine (based on Paul's r6, so it is odexed unfortunately, because r4 was in a worse mess (seperated ramdisk)) that shows the t-mobile pulse logo with the pink circle (boot screen) but simply loops that animation, and gets stuck on a libaudio.so related problem. CM .33 kernel, compiled for this (should technically have same md5 as the one in test4). Help me out devs. This isn't signed (ignore the filename), I assume that anyone who is going to work on this at least knows how to sign a file

looks pretty good considering its a 192mb ram phone, (though i thought it was 128mb)
A member of TMo staff (UK) confirmed the RAM/ROM as:
SDRAM with 128 MB
Flash EEPROM ROM with 256 MBI was sooo gonna get this until I saw the 256MB… will this have the same trouble as the G1 with future updates [i know 1.6 fits]Anyone know the partition size od the /system on the pulse?

No, not until it can be ported from legend, etc.

I wonder when that port will come

Sense is unfortunately not open source and is hardcoded to the Hero's processor. Zenulator is keeping his eye out for similar phones that might get a 2.2 update.

Now I get 12 month upgrades as opposed to 22 months. That's why I'm stuck with the Hero until March, at least. By then, though, we'll probably know about some awesome stuff coming out in May or June that I'll just have to wait for.
This is why I still want a Froyo port for us on the Hero even though I've pretty much given up hope to it happening. Even as it stands, though, I can't see the Hero falling too far behind in the meantime, especially with all the great stuff ZEN and the other devs are still working out for us. I mean, considering all the crappy Android phones on the market right now I'd say we're in pretty good shape for having such "old" technology. My brother is stuck with a Behold II until March 2012. I say I win
