[REQ] Cyan 1.7 Release 1 base 3.6.8.1 Palm Pre for 32A

I have been messing around with the boot.img to try and get this to work on the 32A board, but if someone could help with the port it would be appreciated (or point me in the right direction)!

I have this on my Rogers device. I have very limited knowledge but it seems to be working. Thanks to jerpelea in this thread for porting it to 32b from the dream...that is beyond me. See this thread for known issues/info about cyanogen's excellent rom. For interest sakes I followed these steps by amon_RA. If you find problems that arent from Cyanogen's ROM, let me know, not sure what I will be able to do...but I can try.

I'm very interested as well if this is ported to 32A.

I have downloaded you 32a modified version. Can I use you boot.img to get the palm pre version I mentioned working?

any success with the palm pre version on 32A?

Not yet...my linux machine has had a little hickup, so right now I am unable to try and repackage a boot.img for the palm pre rom. I'll post one here if I get one working.

Porting ROM's to the HTC Magic

Hi!
I already searched, but the search function sucks.
I'm new to the Magic ROMs (I made Dream ROMs) and I want to know how to port ROMs from the Dream to the Magic.
Is the wlan.ko from the dream compatible with the Magic?
Does it need a different kernel?
I know I need to rename the *trout files in the Ramdisk/Boot.img.
Is there anything else?
If you tell me how to do this, you'll get a veryy nice Hero.. ;-) I promise.

check this thread for 32a cyanogen ports. BUT at the top of the thread there is instructions provided by Amon_ra about how to port your own.

Thanks but I think it's different for 32B and ROM's other than Cyanogen (He already made his build compatible with 32B)

T-Mobile Pluse for Magic 32A

Can someone be encouraged to port the pluse rom available over to the dream forum for HTC magic 32A users? I would love to have it on my device. I am sure others would appreciate that. The link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=568318

I'm pretty sure you would find the answer for that question in the myHero thread and if not then please don't start a whole new topic for this in the developer section instead ask in the thread already concerned about this rom!!!

Okay, I know this is an APPLICATIONS' thread, but since the ROMs' thread is "dead" for months, I thought to post it here...
Any decent (available) chef, to cook me one rom EXACTLY as I want it?

Actually the HD2 thread is not dead at all. For example I release a kitchen where you can build a rom exactly how you like it and customise it your self.
If you have never built a rom before have a look at my thread for beginner chiefs and then you should move on to my advanced version. It is really easy simply click on the apps you dont want remove them, click start, it builds the rom for you then you flash!!
