I am a new user of Windows Mobile. How/where can I find a PDF reader for the HD2?

Adobe Acroabt Reader 2.5 for your HD2 should be included in your HD2 already if you just want to read PDF....

What's the advantage of foxit? On Windows, I used to use Foxit, because it is smaller and faster. But HD2 has Adobe lite in ROM, so no matter how small foxit is, it takes some storage. What do I gain with Foxit on WM?
Tried Foxit and it looks rubbish, like it was designed for winmo 5 . Is there anything a bit more up to date?
Would ideally like just something like Adobe Reader LE which had bookmarking capability

I could't find anything better than Adobe in usability and Foxit in speed.
Aren't there anything new?

Hey, you dug out a thread of 2007 - don't expect miracles for SW life
The best music player still is Conduits Pocket Player http://www.conduits.com, despite they are getting very quiet over the last year. Seems like they need to decide to jump on which platform - WM is dead, obviously. It costs $ - so not free.
for music i use pocket player 4.1 it has nice visualisations and interface

Hey people,
I own an E-Ten X500 (WM6). I just can't stand the Windows Mobile UI and I want to make my own one, similar like the iPhone UI. I tried PointUI and loved the speed and how smooth the animations are, but the design isn't what I'm looking for, plus when pressing e.g. messages, you go back to the default Windows UI.
Is it possible to totally replace the Windows Mobile UI? I don't know much about programming, but I know a little ActionScript. Is it possible to create a 'total' UI for windows mobile in Flash? Any tips?
Easy..... Buy an iPhone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
an iphone would be cutting back on functionality alot. I too hope a UI replacement for windows mobile is made, although one based on flash wouldnt be very good i think as was evident from an sms n contacts UI app whose name i cant remember. I dont know alot about wm programming OR UI stuff but i do hope someone comes out with an alternative UI for WM just like we have magnificent UIs for xp etc like litestep.

Hey everybody, I just found out that some genius is working to enable the WinCE 5 Explorer on Windows Mobile. Just to be clear though, I DID NOT DO THIS. I just figured I'd share the love with all of you fellow XDA-ers.
Here is the website where it's in development: http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009/03/08/CE-5-Explorer-is-getting-there-Really!.aspx, and this is an article on Pocketnow.com about it: http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=7015.
It doesn't appear to be super usable yet, but if any of you ever used HPC's, you might be interested. For those of you who haven't used HPC's, Windows CE's shell offers better window support with an actual taskbar, better window management, a real desktop, and a cascading start menu among other things.

Well, I suppose on 240x320 this is definitely true, but I'd imaging from 480x640 upwards it might be a nice alternative.
Good application THX

I've been using an iPhone for a long time for one reason - Stanza Reader. By the looks of things, it might not get an update to make it compatible for iOS 5 so now, I'm reviewing my OS options. I've already found an ebook reader app on Android so just need to know what options are available for WP7. I know Kindle is available but I need something that is able to read side-loaded DRM-free ePub files. Any suggestions?
Try Freda.
Thanks for the recommendation! Don't have a WP7 device yet, but I'll definitely try that if/when I buy one.
You may try Freda in emulator...

Hi,
You can try "eBook Reader Plus - Your Free eBook Reader app". It's nice, with the search box on it you can find and download your favorite book in pdf format. There are nearly 10,000 books available in it right now, more are being added. With other essential features, the app is really so cool.
You can find it on Google Play or Google searching by the name.
