AT&T Quickfire run Android? - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
I understand this may be silly to even wonder.. but my wife has the AT&T Quickfire (ugh) and I recently got a Mytouch 3G and put the latest CyanogenMod on it. It's great!
I was curious if anyone knows a way to put Android on the Quickfire, or if it's even plausible. I know it's not a smart phone, but anything would be better than the junky OS that comes pre-installed.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Motorola Quench

Hey guys, I recently got the Moto Quench (Rogers). I saw that it was running 1.5.
Is it possible that motorola will release a 2.1/2.2 for it sometime? I hate running outdated software.
Also as time passes this will get rooted right? Because there are some things that I would love to do once its rooted.
Thanks.
PS: Any other good android phones that are from Rogers that are equally or even better than this Quench?
soo... would anyone know? anything is appreciated. thanks

Welcome to forums

I have already asked that in those forums, there is no definite answer yet
Would anyone know if the X10 or HTC Magic+ (Both from rogers) are good? Is the HTC Magic+ from Rogers 100% rootable?
Thanks.
The HTC Magic+ is the old HTC Magic with Android 2.1 ... my advice is to stay away from it, its getting old. I have one and i'm looking for a good 1ghz device now because im tired of the lag.
btw its 100% rootable, i have CyanogenMod 6 on it.

[Q] Which android phone should I buy to replace my G1?

So, I'm out of contract and I'm looking for an android phone to buy. My G1 seems like it gets slower and slower with all these new phones coming out. I'm thinking about the Droid Incredible.
A little background, I love messing with my G1 and installing new roms and seeing how fast I can push it. US Carriers only please.
What do you guys think?

[Q] Windows Mango on MyTouch 4g

Hi, I am new here. I have followed along on a few threads over the last few months ever since I flashed my MyTouch 4g with Cyanogen.
So here's my question. Is anybody working on porting Windows Phone 7.5 to android devices?
I have a MyTouch 4g and have been wanting to move to Windows Phone 7.5, the only problem is, I want 4g, and the Titan and Radar have been playing coy with me and cannot give definitive release dates. I'm done waiting, if there is anyway to install Windows Phone 7.5 on the MyTouch, it would be awesome. I would even be willing to pay for a Rom that is capable of being flashed to the phone. I know it is difficult and far beyond my scope of knowledge to write drivers and all the little necessary bits to make a Rom work on each device but if anyone is working on it, that'd be great.
Am I insane to hope for such a port, or is anybody out there working on that?

[Q] Is there anyway to put android os on verizon's samsung omnia 2 (sch-i920)

is there any way possible to run android os on samsung omnia 2 (sch i920). is there anyone who can cook this up for me. The answer to some is to just get a droid phone and i will most likey end up doing so im just not in a big hurry. To tell the truth i like windows mobile alot. I just feel like they have failed when it comes to providing apps. If I could have my way I would only want androids market, I could care less about there user interface. So give it to me strait people is there anyway to get droid on the sch i920? can anyone cook this up?
