Please don't install this ROM, the publisher didn't make any indication about the configuration of that ROM

RC5 installed
It is really wonderful my sp5m is now all new not just smartphone but it becomes a PPC. Only thing is as the screen resolution is meant for VGA all fonts and items becomes so small, luckily my eyesight is still good.
I don't see much different between RC4 & RC5.. may be I have not checked thoroughly.. main difference is calculator is now easy to access.
Only bug I found is though I set AP1 button to anything from Settings>Buttons it never works, same thing happened in RC4 too, but if a shortcut Short_AP1.lnk is created it takes it. I set AP3 as <OK/Cancel> and it works untill I run TCPMP. While TCPMP is running AP1 works as Prev key AP2 as play and AP3 as next, it is not desirable and after closing TCPMP all these three buttons are no more working, so I need to restart my device.
I am not good in testing ROMs but I just like difference, so in these few days installed almost all ROMs for Tornado installed on my sp5m.
Some thing I like on this new ROM is to fix the above APx buttons problem and option for changing fack cursor's button (present is long home).
Regarding nk.nbf file just replace same file name of other ROM software with this one and flash.

tracen, AP1 button is binded for copy/paste utilities. This utilities is made by kamikadze! too and included in rom. You can find configurations for this utilities in programs - cbutilconfig.

could anyone make a clean version with pure English language? Thanks in advance.

Hello, thank you very much for so wonderful work, I want friends that they help me to configure my tornado's buttons of the form but functional and comfortable. I am new in this world and I do not have a lot of experience. This the ROM has been delightful to everybody and I believe that I will keep it for a while if I manage to configure buttons. apvito, You can configure all hard buttons in Start - Settings - Buttons and Start - Settings - Soft Key.
szanka, This rom contains only English interface. And only Russian and English xT9.

thanks for the great job!
I have Qtek 8310 and here's what i've found so far:
+ the rom's pretty fast.
+ great fonts, the right size.
+ all the HTC home plugins work fine.
+ GPRS/EDGE works fine too.
+ battery life seems to be average.
+ IE's Favourites in Russian are saved correctly via ActiveSync.
- my phone froze up once today during an incoming call (I couldn't answer, had to remove the battery). Maybe it's a radio issue? I have radio version 02.25.01.
- Audio Booster doesn't work (it loads but I can't turn it on).
- Voice recorder doesn't start from Start Menu (looks like a broken link).
- when I turn on or off 'Receive incoming beams' in Settings/Connections/Beam it says 'the settings could not be saved' although they ARE saved in fact.
- Rinku colored icon bar does not work well with this rom (same was with the original Gregory's Rose rom). I miss those icons!
- if you use CHome (not HTC home) and set a wallpaper, it's icon bar part is cut inaccurately, so you can see the cut (same as in Gregory's version). It also occures with some of older 6.1 roms.
- no SP5 button fix is included with the kitchen - you have to install it yourself.
As you can see, these are only cosmetics. But I only tested it for one day. Will write again if I notice anything else.

Bluetooth issue
I have checked and found out that OBEX transfer doesn't work with all phones. For example, I can't transfer files from my Qtek 8310 to Nokia 6233 and Samsung E840 using Send command from Resco Explorer which is the simplest way to my mind. But if you use Bluetooth Explorer that comes with this ROM and copy/paste a file, it works!
Yet I'm gonna try a program called Terminal, I suspect that it'll work either because it has its own OBEX driver.

Hello BD! Good to see you around. Unfortunately I don't use my tornado anymore. I had given my son the 2nd phone I had and he broke it and I gave him my tornado and i'm using Blue Angel. However.... I know I'll be back to ebay for an SDA I loved that phone so much, all though, this touch stuff is cool, big screen, and so many more features. Hugz to all.

Hi BlackDragon, i install these rom yesterday, i'm working with this and it's very nice, have excelents issues and work very nice.
The only problem that i found is that Windows Media don't play avi files and the home screen with slide panels have letters over borders and the calendar slide don't have sufficient height and some dates with subject and place long don't show nice. I install ArcsoftMMS_4.0.40.1_forTornadoWM6.cab, you must close all processes in celetask that may be in conflict with mms composer, then install MMS composer.

I have a 6.1 Neo version here, from the pre-production Shadow 2009 ROM, but I don't know how to implement it yet and I want to wait for a production ROM!

Someone has tested it? Has the issues FB mentioned above?

yes sys rose rom but neo from tornado.
chome and confetticore from shadow 2009. but not needed shadow 2009. 20757,20279,20282 and 19597 sys's working but sometimes freeze.

I tried this ROM; WiFi starts and off immidiately once connected.

i gonna try it with installed sktools lite kinoma fring wm5torage (1.69beta2) tcpmp gmaps
for stability and hang-up errors.
is real neo plugin integrated or only theme like you can get on neptun?
i would test of course too if i get this rom with my faves integrated.
but one thing i want to: this rom can have as many bugs as possible but it mustnt brake my vox! so its no matter for me reinstallign other rom but please test it before!

not wifi problem on my phone.
now wifi start and connected ... and surfing internet. not any problem on my phone..
i guess a setting .. Wi-fi settings>>Power Mode>>and uncheck the auto turn off checkbox and select best performance.

I did the same, one difference i have: i have wifi hidden network, might be this ROM has issues working with hidden network.

i don't know anyting hidden network. i can't use hidden network and test. sory

you have to set your network hidden on wifirouter! this is a simple setting

Unfortunately the HTC custom panels don't work with the SYS that works with Neo. I am trying to make a new ROM, but it looks like we will definitely loose the function of HTC's panels (weather...). I will make a theme that looks like Rose and then release the ROM as NeoRose or similar...

OH I nearly forgot: I got German mui files from the Rose, so I will start adding languages to my ROMs!!!!!

HD2 connections is an application for HD2 to switch on/off bluetooth,vibrate,wifi and gprs data . I add too shortcut for lock and soft reset your pda .

In the last version you didn´t integrate the vibrate/ring switcher of the first version. would you mind to put it back again?

after i install the cab where do those icons appear- in the start menu or in the quick links- can i just add the ones i want to appear in the quick links?
and whats Connexions.zip is- is it an update for Connexions.CAB or is it another version with different icons?

seem like the data one is not working for miri cook rom. i got the error the data onoff cannnot be opened. either it is not sign with a trusted cert .....
other than that, everything works great on my hd2. thanks dude

yes the bluetooth works for me either on hd2Connexions.CAB or Connexions.CAB. best part...hehe i can install to storage card....i wonder the data did not work is it because i install to storage? anyone get data to work?

I have tested in my Diamond 2 with Dutty's ROM HG9 23539 and the only thing didn"t work was bluetooth.
