<<<25 shortcuts on Home and more>>> - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hi guys! I, along with vovichek62 made a new mod for Manila 2.5.xxx ..
Now it will be 25 shortcuts!!! A complete replacement of the Program tab
I see that many people and developers use our modes of 16 and 20 shortcuts, inserting them into their mods. This is very pleased that my work is so popular.
In this topic, I will spread all that is connected with 25 shortcut and add-on to them.

Great man, I'm using the youts also, the 20 one, thx for the great work, but will be cool to have 25.
Ihow about f we can access all programs form sens, no more need to go to start.
can we duplicate the home tab and then put only programs in it, like that we wil have like a new program tab, and then add as many as programs we want. or simply have all start menu programs in it automatically , that will be really great mate.

Hail Jamrecords!
Great work man. Can't wait to try this.
Keep up the great work!

Any ETA for the 25 shortcuts?
And please, make a .cab with ONLY the shortcuts. Every existing .cab currently contains BG4All or a theme or something else.

or something like that......
big thanks!!

Jamrecords: Please include in your thread or give me the links for a working 16 shortcuts (even 20 shortcuts, if 16 isn't working ok). I have italian ROM 1.66.408.1 (76641) with Manila 2.5.19211619.0. I have tried a lot of these, even moded for my Manila version, but i can not change the last few icons(shortcuts) and in Start Menu i found duplicate of htc icons( tweeter, calendar, people, etc)

Sounds great, hope to see it appearing soon!

25 Shortcuts will certainly be welcome.
Everything on one screen.

Very nice to see you developing further... This one is somewhat the holy grail for program tab replacement

25!.... thats good...

Good work with expanding the number of shortcuts. I went a bit crazy and installed loads of apps and it was a nightmare to find my most used apps on the start menu!
This just sorted me out once and for all.

Thank you, Jamrecords, it is working with my ROM (1.66 - ita)

Downloaded.
Thank you for your creations.

[REQ] [FIXED] [APP] 20 Shortcuts and background 4 all tabs working together.

What I would really like to see is the 20 shortcuts on the home page working while having background for all tabs configured.
I'm not sure if it works if running the wallpaper through HDWall, but thats really not the perfect solution for me, since doing this to some 50+ wallpapers would be a real pain.
Anyone know if this can be done? Is it doable?
Grzegorz is not making his Background4alltabs compatible with the existing 20 shortcut addon. As he states: 20 or 16 shortcuts addon is not stable as it is.
Thx! Any work for a solution is appreciated.

I posted this thread some 2 weeks ago, and searched for ages for solutions. None came up that would truly work.
So you can Imagine this is great news for me, and probably many more.
Grzegorz work is truly awesome imo.
Also he has made it available with his simple clock array as well. A 30KB install. So very simple and clean and yet very cool looking.

Rollercoaster,
I just installed the 20 shortcuts cab into my HD2 (Asia) but it did not work. Prior to this I was using a 16 shortcuts cab (Vovichek) which did work but I could not make any changes to the shortcuts - thus tried the version that you recommended.
I'm using HD2 wwe (asia) too with 1.48 rom and it works great (find this, Grezegorz10 1921 Background for all tabs + 20 shortcut). I uninstalled vivochek 20 shortcuts (which worked flawlessly too and can modify / delete quicklinks) before i install this one from grezegorz10.

Hi
I have no idea why its not working on your phone. What I can tell you is, that it works on mine, using this cab:
grzegorz10_1921_B4all+20Shortcuts
For his Simple Clock Array (it is so cool), I installed:
Dusk Manila 2.5 SCB4all + 20 Shortcuts
And to skin the clock with black background and white digits, I installed:
Dusk_Manila_2.5_Clock_Graphics
Here's my results on Leo WM6.5, Manila 2.5.19211619.0, ROM 1.48.403.1 DAN

As I am tired of looking at the default tab icons for sense 2.5, I decided to replace them with new ones. Since I have leeched so many nice stuffs from this community, I thought it will be a good idea that I contribute some of my work.
Please note that icons/graphics are not created by me. I gathered the images from internet searches and credits to original graphic creator. What I did was to source for graphics, compile, edit/resize, convert and to pack them in a cab.
Tab icons for Document Reader and Ebook Reader are included. However, I did not include any sliders. To use these icons, simply download the cab file, install to device, and do a soft-reset. Tab icons are also fully uninstallable.
This is my 1st time attempt in making icon set for sense. Please do not expect a perfect job. Feedbacks are welcome.
If response is good, I may consider releasing other versions in the near future. Thanks!
Updates:
Added 2 variation of this tab icon set (20-02-10)
1) Semi-Transparent Slider
2) Fully-Transparent Slider
Please uninstall the previous version before installing the transparent ones.
Checkout the attachments.

Hi,

My HD2 is on:
ROM Version: Stock 1.66.707.1 (76641) WWE
Manila Version: 2.5.19211619.0
Radio Version: 2.06.51.07
Is there something else I should do?
Thanks.

Hihi,
I have just installed to main storage, and it works even though my HD2 version does not have the e-reader and Documents tabs. My HD2 just looks fabulous now~!
Most importantly, it has solved my difficulties in identifying the tabs between "People", "Messages", and "Emails".
Many thanks for your contribution~!
no problem mate ....!
Very nice icons. I installed this on TP2 (custom rom, sense 2.5 2011), all icons are there except for mail and internet tabs. I don't have the ereader and doc tabs, could that create the problem?

Hmmmm... unlikely. Probably file names are different in your version of sense. Hence, icons in my cab didn't correctly replace the default ones.
I am running sense 2.5.20113626 and created the cab base on this version.
Sorry. Maybe someone more experienced can help to point out the actual problem.
Thanks for the Tab icons. Great job. Made my screen all the more beautiful.

[Theme][Clocks] Coloured Glass (digital) clocks for Manila 2.5 [Updated]

Back in February I decided to have a go at making a coloured glass digital clock to match a nice wallpaper I found.
It was as much an exercise in understanding how manila images work and learning how to use the tools as it was about creating another yet another digital clock for Manila 2.5.
I made a nice 'black glass' clock and was quite pleased with the results. However, I realised that I would need need some other colours as I had in the meantime several different coloured wallpapers.
Some 6 weeks later, I have about 20 different coloured clocks, all pretty much in the same 'glass' style. So I decided to share in case anyone else out there is interested in this style of clock...
e.g. Red 'glass'...

Green 'glass'...
You can install each clock as usual using the cab files attached in the next posts. In most cases, I have included a screenshot to give you an idea of how the clock will look before you install it. Uninstalling is done, as usual, via Settings/Remove Programs. If any of the previous sentence does not make any sense to you, you probably should not install these cabs...!
The clocks should work without installing any additional files, but I did make the clocks after installing other cabs (mainly to do with transparency), so please let me know if there is something missing!
The clocks work on Manila 2.5.1920 because that is what I have on my HD2. I think they should also work on 1921 (but I cannot guarantee it) and I haven't got a clue about other versions.
In order to answer a few obvious questions before they are asked...
No. I won't be making clocks 'to order'...
No. I won't be making versions for other versions of Manila...
The wallpapers are not mine. But they are available on this forum from the usual suspects. I cannot remember who posted which wallpaper, so credit goes to all of them...
Transparent Task-and Softkey bars using HDWall (search for it to get it)...
Transparency cabs are mostly 'Touch X' (from Smaberg?) and AntonioMistretta and are all available in the sticky at the top of this forum...
Glass Icons are from Jaguaralani
The glass slider is from Dinik
I'll also include somewhere one zip file with all cabs if the site will let me.

Why?
I got tired of seeing my HD wallpapers blurred by manila, so I hit maranell0's HDWall.
There are various other threads containing HDWall cabs with some trully unique and wonderful contributions.
The thing that motivated me most to make my own cabs was that I found each poster has their own preferences; transparent taskbars, transparent softkeys, tweaked sliders etc.
For me, I wanted simply the HD wallpaper. I have customised softkeys and taskbars and I didn't want to mess with them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Testing
The attached HDWall cabs have been tested on a HD2 (T8585) with:
- Stock WWE ROM 1.66
- Manila v2.5.1921
- Co0kies HT 1.7.1
- [Manila Patch] High Quality Wallpaper for Home Tab & Manila Start Menu by Co0kieMonster
- BG4all
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
How?
There are two options for installing these cabs:
Option A - direct
Simply choose the cab you prefer and save it to your device.
Using your prefered file explorer, browse to the cab and click.
Option B - via HDWalls
Transfer the cab AND the associated '*-P.jpg' file to your nominated directory on your device where you store HDWall cabs.
Open HDWallS
Browse to the thumbnails until you find the new image.
Click and install.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes
Uninstall before installing
Before installing one of my cabs, be sure to uninstall any previous HDWall cab you may have installed.
BG4all
Co0kie recommends that you avoid using BG4all and HDWall together.
I have BG4all running smoothly with these cabs and have experienced no problems. The HD image is displayed on all tabs.
Please be conscious of this if you experience problems.
Images for lockscreen
Attached is a zip file of all original images should you wish to manually change your lockscreen pic to match your wallpaper.
Uninstalling
These cabs are all uninstallable.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Requests
Requests welcome!
If you would like a wallpaper made for you, please do not hesitate to ask. Simply post your preferred image and I will endeavour to create your ideal background.

Images are generally found online. I take no credit for the original images. Thank you to the talented people behind the camera.

Well that's a shame. I wonder if perhaps Dutty's using different file names.
Did nothing change for you?
nice stuff, thx for sharing

You are welcome Fran.
I am also attaching the zip with the cab for changing in black the text for the message tab. Always useful for lights BG!
It includes the file 115191c7_manila. It is very easy to modify it with m9editor, so anyone can change it to any other color. Just look into this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=567515
Using the m9editor you have to find the <Property> Name=Color Value="R=0 G=0 B=0 A=255" for every <Object>Type="GLESText" and change it to your favorite colour in RGB code. You have to change the colour property in all the <Object>Type="GLESText" you find by pressing OK button, and when all are changed then save it (in other folder to keep the original) and CAB it into your device to enjoy.
This shouold works in manila 2.5.2012, but i do not think it will do it in others.
You can try with other manila files type mode9. Just look in <Scene> to have a clue what tab can be modified ...
Cheers!
great work! I tested on the tmo hd2, everything works but on the comm manager the top two didn't change. (airplane mode and in flight mode)

Hi
It seems that different ROMs/devices have slightly different icons in the comm manager.
If you can send me the files for your missing icons I am more than happy to whip some replacements up for you.
The files are in the 'windows' directory of your phone. They all appear as 'Function_IconName.png'
Here is an example of the thumbnails and filenames I have.

more things with coloured text
attaching the manila file (2.5.2012) for home tab, just find <Property> Name=Color Value="R=8 G=8 B=138 A=255" and change RGBA to your favorite colour with m9editor.exe
has anyone tried the colored txt with manilla 2.5.1921?
