Emulators on HTC Hermes - General Questions and Answers

I just got the phone yesterday, so I'm wondering, what emulators will work on it? I'm mostly interested in M.A.M.E.

Hermes is quite an old phone with limited ram, so although some emulators will run they wont run well.

I tried MAME, didn't worked so well, about 20fps, but it's playable. Where can I find NES and SNES?

What about n64 emulation on the leo?

Ari64 and other members of the gp32x community have already a good working n64 emulator for pandora, a version for the iphone 3gs is also working perfectly. Since the leo got more mhz and more ram, can someone port it to windows mobile? This will be great!!
Agreed.

The one of the iphone 3gs may be working, you can't say "perfectly".
I mean it will be like PSX4iphone: working.....but you'll get 3 games full speed, 10 poorly running games, and that's all (the way N64iphone and PSX4iphone are made explains these emulators work and were created without requiring 5 years of work, but game compatibility is a pity, if you can find anything else than FF7 or wipeout runnig fast enough on the 3Gs, tell me ^^)
But it's technically possible to make a N64 emulator for, let's say, Snapdragon based devices.
(let's pray LDchen to find motivation to work on it!!)
On my current iphone: super mario 64 is as good as full speed.
That is with osx loaded, 600mhz and 256Mb ram.
Maby pm the developer? Because this would be sweet.
Il be glad if a developer can shed some light into this matter.

Emulators on Windows Mobile?

Just bought an HTC HD2 and wondering what older systems I can emulate on it, thinking like the SNES, C64, Spectrum and Mega Drive??
Are emulators available?
Did you try www.google.com to find an answer?

Not really, could find a lot for older WM 2003 but not a lot for specifically newer version of WM,
How about fpsece, amazing PSX emulator? http://fpsece.net

check this out.
you might be lucky; I tried both picodrive & genesis plus and both crash on opening a ROM. Don't seem to be able to find out how to fix this either, which is gutting, as having a mega drive & snes on the phone would make up for the complete lack of quality games on windows mobile.
Hi
So which are best known to be working with the htc hd2?
Can you reccomend any? and why these are the best use?
Many thanks.
games
You can find the playstation emulator and some games at
www.krenisiswinmobilegamesapps.com
supposedly picodrive is the best and seemingly both should work on HD & HD2. maybe it's a free memory issue with the HD running the latest energy ROM, but when you compare to the specs of the original console there's no comparison - HD blows it away. I've heard people running picodrive fine on the HD2 so give it a go
MorphGear is your solution for the older systems. This MorphGear thread is about using MorphGear on the HD2 with multitouch. It works great on my TMOUS HD2.
For Playstation PSX/PSOne, FPSECE is absolutely amazing.
Morphgear is very good. My amiga, amstrad etc emulators that I have on my orbit2 do not work on my hd2. The spectrum (pocketclive)does but does not fill the hd2 screen.
fpsece!!!!!!!!!
the best emulator for htc hd2,you need donate to get support version but trust me ist worth.
im currently play gran turismo, destruction derby 2 ,destruction raw, colin McRAE 2,and amazing nascar 2004.
im tested over 100 games!! over half works

will their ever be an n64 emu for ppc

i was just wondering isnt the htc hd2 more than capable of running an n64 emulator?
Its possible but from what I can find out, there isn't anyone who is developing one at the moment, and I don't think anyone will. Alot of the gaming crowd have gone to android or iphone, both of which have N64 emulators.

[Q] Emulators

Hello all,
First off, I'd like to introduce myself. I've been around the Droid Eris forums for a better part of the year, and I think I will be spending some around this forum as I am hopefully getting a G Tablet for Christmas. This brings me to my question. Has anybody used the emulators on the G Tablet yet? Gameboid SNESoid etc. How do they work?
Thanks and looking forward to working with you guys,
MuerteMan
I've used the Atari 2600 and Amiga emulators, and both worked fine.
All work great (I use them all).
Best IMO are TigerMAME (Plays CPS1, CPS2 and all NeoGeo games) and PSx4Droid.
PSX4Droid even plays 3D games like Dead or Alive and NBA Live 2001 smoothly Sound could be a lot better though.
As warned others: PSX4Droid version 1.7 in the market is awful. Best versions for speed and accurate graphics are 1.5 and 1.6.
PSX4Droid plays FAR better on the Gtablet than the 101, since 101 uses 3630.
Sweet, I am more and more excited about this tablet as I gather more information. Thanks for the quick responses guys.
Also if you can get the right ROM installed you can pair up a Wiimote to make it even better.

Are there any emulators for this phone?

Simple as is, are there any emulators for the Charge? I'd assume with these specs we would at the very least be seeing a flawless NES emulator, SNES might be possible and N64 just doesn't seem doable. Let me know if you could do it and if so, how. Thanks!
Theres emulators for everything, NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, N64, PSX, and even NDS. Good luck finding them though since Google took them off the Market a while back. Go check out the Slide-Me Market, thats where they reside now. nesoid, snesoid, gensoid, n64oid, etc
Incredible! I honestly would not expect a phone like this to run N64 so well, my PSP can't run it that well haha, aside from the insane lag it gets when you attempt to press home and task kill it, it's pretty dam good.
SNES and NES are also impressive but not nearly as much as n64, and none of them require root access? WOW! Thanks a lot for the help!
Mojo gba lite works well. Has onscreen controls. Still in market last I. Checked
