Is your battery is well charged when the screen was flashing and turning Off ?
100%100 yes my battary is comletely ful
Why on earth did you try to flash a Jamin with a K-jam rom?
Are you able to get into bootloader ie. hold down the COMM button and press the soft reset?
If you can get into the bootloader your phone can be saved, and I would advise you to have a deep read of the WIKI page.

Hi,
I update my Prophet to RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
But I was not happy because the camera didn't work, I try to go back to
RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID
But it retruns errors after 95% of the update that my nbf files is not correct,
then I install AKU2.3.1_LvsW_Edition_2006-11-28
But after the flash finish my prophet just show we the bootloader... I unplugged the battery and now my device don't starts, sometimes if I connect it to the USB port of my laptop after few minutes, the bootloader appears but it just stay 10 or 30 seconds and then disappear again. I can't flash anymore.
Anyone has similar issue? Otherwise I will have to send it back to factory.
I already try hard reset, and bootloader access (camera + reset)
Thank you

Can you do that without losing anything? if yes... id go for it ASAP
I am sorry, I don't understand waht you mean?
One more information, when plugin my prophet to USB, the LED doesn't comes orange. I would really suggest that some hardware part is defect but I flash my device several times and I never had such problem.
Thanks to anyone.
maybe,... if you are lucky this solution for another problem helps you:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=292667 kann you get into the bootloader if your charger is plugged in?
thank you ! I could flash my prophet again!!!
I tried to install the faria wm6 update with the shelltool. everything was going as per the directions when about 3 or 5 mins in the the install process it gave me an error on the phone saying something about the reprog.exe or someting... anyways, the computer said done and to reboot... so I did and now it goes as far as the white TMOBILE screen with the following 4 lines of code
IPL 2.26.0001
SPL 2.26.0001
GSM 02.25.11
OS 2.18.0.0
and it freezes there... it wont turn off either.
Tries removing the battery and reinserting it. Well the same thing happens upon powering on the device. Tried hitting the little hard reset button on the side with the stylus... the screen flashes off and then it attempts to reboot again and the phone freezes at the same spot. Please help. I did everything according to the directions. PLEASE TELL ME I DIDNT BRICK MY PHONE. :'(
Can you get into bootloader mode? If so then its not a brick. Try to go to bootloader mode by holding down camera and voice commander button while powering on. Then reflash your carriers rom or wizard love.
edit:stop double posting your problems there is no need.

hello,
I've tried to install skype ona my cingular 2125 and now it doesn't work.
the phone just stuck on .cab extractin screen and i restart it.now the only thing it show is the cingular startup screen and that's all.I have the cingular rom update uttility but it says that the device is not connected to the pc using usb,and ask me to check the connection.
what i can do about this issue?can anyone help me?
thank you in advance
Try turning off USB connection in activesync. With the phone turned off, if you hold the camera button when you plugin the usb to phone (already connected to PC), it should start up in the bootloader.
Other method to get the bootloader is to hold the camera and the comm manager button and turn on the phone.
You should be able to use the ROM update utility with the bootloader.
Look at Karhoe's guide in the stickies at the top of this forum...
Maybe hard reset will be enough ?
Turn off Your phone. Press and keep hold of both soft keys, press the power button for approximately 0.5 to 1 second, phone will ask U if U are sure, press 0.
hard reset is a lot safer than reflash...
i can't believe
thank you for all the advises but unfortunateli non of them helps.I've trie everything and it still shows cingular's wellcome screen and that is all.after that the only thing i can do is to remove the battery because nothing else work.I put the original rom from cingular and everything was OK with the setup, but after that -the same.I've tried with this hard reset- the same.probbably the nezt thing that i will do is to hit it into the ground )

Missunderstanding here
Our goal was making Your phone alife again.
None of mentionated procedures could help with some unknown to us bug in Your version of 3-rd party software
The latest skype works perfectly for me, in WM5 and WM6, since you are going to hard reset, why not perform a WM6 upgrade?
re
I was tried to reflash with the original aku2 rom from htc/cingular (the flash was successfull)but after that the phone is still not working.allways the same- cingular's startup screen and that's all.also try with hard reset with no success.I doubt that this phone will ever work again.or if there is another way to "clean" the whole memory?!is it possible to hardware reset the phone?
Format BINFS and reflash, that will clean everything except the IPL and SPL
Hi everybody,
i got a XDA Orbit 2 and today i tried to install SPB Phone Suite.
During install it asked for a Softreset, which i did...
After that i refused to boot and keeps hanging at the o2 Bootscreen.
It totally freezes, regardless if i pull any cable, remove the sd-card etc..
So i thought i'd a hardreset once again, but that one didnt work at all.
The Restore lasts maybe 10 secs (with and without sc-card), then asks for another boot and im again where i startet, the o2 bootscreen.
Any chance i get it working again?
Like somebody else recommended flashing it with either another rom or the original one, which i might d/l somewhere.
Then again, any Flash-HowTo starts with an ActiveSync Connection.
Since my Device wont boot at all, the ActiveSync Connection wont be established...
Any helpful Advise highly appreciated :-/
regards...
You should be able to manually put it into the boot loader. I'm not familiar with you phone so you will need to research that.
***Update**** Try this; "turn your phone on press and hold the two buttons on the upper left and right side from your naviwheel and press the resetbutton with your stylus"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366303
hrm, pressing the upper left/right buttons and reseting it doesnt do anything.
regarding google im the first human ever trying to get the htc touch cruise into bootloader mode.
i keep researching, thx for ur effort tho
Manually getting into the boot loader will allow to establish a link to your PC in order to re-flash. Like I said, I'm not familiar with your phone....
yup, i noticed some more users here own an Orbit2.
So i hope somebody is able to enlighten me, before i brake my fingers while trying to press all buttons same time and then somehow hit the reset button, hehe.
ok, i managed to get into bootloader.
some more detailed research helped me there, actually inside this board :-/
now lets see if HardSPL makes me happy.
tx again for ur time
I have an Orbit 2,
To Hard reset and delete everything from your phone and then let the rom reload everything back to factory settings, do the following.
1. Remove SD card
2. Hold down the 'Windows Icon' Button and the 'OK' button at the same time and keep them held in.
3. While still holding in the above 2 buttons, use the stylus and press the reset button in and then release it but you must still keep the 'Windows' button and the 'OK' button still in until you are prompted with a menu.
4. Once the menu appears: press 'Send' button to reset and reload rom or any other button to cancel.
I have done this procedure a few times now and is quite safe, especially after loading a crap piece of software that totally knackers up my Orbit 2.
I hope this helps you out........
Good luck
Tried that before and it worked out before also.
This Time the complete recover-process lasts only 10 seconds and then the Boot doesnt work anymore either.
Dunno why the hardreset aint working anymore.
Regarding the Flashing:
I managed to get into Bootloader and see the following Information:
POLA200
SPL-1.25.0000
CPLD-2
Serial.
Then i plug in the USB-Cable and start the Update-Utility.
After following each step i get the following error:
Error 262: Update Error
Saying it has encountered communication Errors and asks me if i want to recover...
Im running VistaSP1, maybe thats a reason?
Try this for your Vista issue. It worked for me the first time. Although I don't know if SP1 has any effect.
http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=23&Itemid=27 This was for Hermes also....
Updating the USB-Driver didnt help .
Using a XP VirtualPC didnt work out either, hehe.
Ill try tomorrow on a XP Machine, thanks for ur time once more.
Im not that desperate anymore, hehe.
Damn, now im using a Windows XP Machine (incl. all Updates) with ActiveSync 4.5, and still get the [262] Update Error.
Seems its seriously damaged :-(
One Question:
Did you installl phone-suite on a cooked rom, or on the original o2 rom?
i got the same freezing problem on my touch with a cooked rom. with the original rom i got no problems.

Is there any other way to unbrick my phones. Thanks a lot.
Hello
You must have MTTY.
First conect your HTC to the computer, disable Active sincronization, open MTTY to conect with your device from USB, push ENTER and afther that you have:
Cmd>
Write boot and push enter:
Cmd>boot +Enter
Afther that your HTC must restart and can make a soft reset.
try to flash 3.34.721.2 official rom.. this rom fix many problems..
