I used iCam for the iPhone... Do they have it or a similar app (easy to setup too) for Android? Thanks
Search for "IP Cam Viewer" it works really well!

I know, there are many solutions out there to use any mobilephone's webcam, but I didn't found any free ones and maybe one of you use his/her Leo as a webcam already (for Skype at PC eg) and can recommend me a one!?
thanks
Oh, that would be great!
Hmmm I got a one called WebCamera Plus, but worked not very well in trial, because there were many "scratches" every few seconds. That was very ugly. Did s.o. else have a better opinion or knows how to "solve" this problem? (It has a nice interface at all)
mobiola webcam for windows mobile works perfectly with skype and msn. although its a trial version - but funny anyway
OK I think I can sum up that both commercial solutions like "WebCamera Plus" and "Mobiola Webcam" are pretty useless on the HD2, cause the both seem not to work fluid an smooth, the picture gets stripes all the time and it lacks a lil bit too much for me.
So I searched a long time for another solution and finally found the way of the xda-member pafke, who says:
This is in short how it works (and it is free):
Download mymobiler: http://www.mymobiler.com
Download VH screen capture driver: http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=8
Start mymobiler and activate your mobile camera
Grab the part of the screen you want with VH screen capture
Now you have a webcam stream which you can use in any program like skype, msn etc..
Look at this video as example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wveANUBUIJM
Instead of using the microsoft remote tool use mymobiler. It is much faster.
PS: You need active sync to communicate with mymobiler

you can find the quotation here!
And this one really works fine, BUT it's not really comfortable! So you can make the Program track the windows from MyMobiler even when you open applications in the front and it's much more fluid than the other commercial programs and you can stream it to ICQ, Skype, chatroulette and whereever you want perfectly, BUT there are even some cons!
Like the camera is very sharp and I would like to make it more smooth and overlay it with a red/orange filter for make it a more wamer and then there is the problem with the size, I tried it serveral times to rotate (with MyMobile -> rotate) but that was a whole crap! Unfortunally resizing is not the best skill of the VH Screen Driver.
Maybe some of you got along with that problem or know an application to set after the VHS Screen Driver outgoing stream to rotate/scale/Colorize filter and make a new stream of that which can be used of skype, icq and all webcam related services and programs!?

Re: Surveillance Cam App
I am using IP Cam Viewer Lite and it works well with my Trendnet 312W.
It is in the marketplace and is free.
I use Tiny DVR. Its virtually the same as Eye See U on the iPhone, identical settings for viewing my IP Camera
Tiny DVR
Try Tiny DVR. Search Market or SlideME.
It looks like Tiny DVR does not support Geovision cams at the moment directly but you can add custom CGI request to your cam image there. Or contact the developer to do that for you.
for win mobile?
Ehm people,
there is an app promoted here in the forum, even on the same page of this subforum... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116764
And if you don't like this, you could try the one from "Securet" (find it on the market)...
Cheers, berkley

Does anyone know about a nice & easy bluetooth remote control application for mega/windows mobile? I'm looking for one since I bought my phone and couldn't find a straightforward app. Winamp/Media player control would be nice and also powerpoint for presentations and maybe vlc . All in one app would be great
Before this one I had a symbian phone and had an app that could do exactly this. It was called "Phone Remote Control 5.0". It also seems to have a client for windows mobile but I tried it and it doesn't work. I can't imagine something similar being available for this platform, that's why I'm asking here.
I want to mention that I tried a lot of solutions before coming here, like GRemote, VLC Remote, Bluetooth Remote Control and others. None of them seemed to work properly. Any thoughts?
Try Salling Clicker
GRemote pro 1.3.2.96 works on my touch2, with default - QVGA skin no G-sensor ofcourse
So, wondering if there is any good "webcam" apps out there yet? Tried Qik, not exactly what I'm looking for even on the live stream... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I think you may be able to use the Ustream Broadcasting app...or Fring for video chat
If you're looking for something that lets you use the phone as a webcam for your computer then look for an app called "USB Webcam" from Placaware in the market
It's a bit buggy but it's the only app of its kind (that I know of)
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
I use Orb through the browser. Works like a charm.
DROIDCAM...works absolutely perfect! This is by far one of the easiest webcam apps to navigate also...easier to setup then most of them.
Hi - Can't find any results for this one...
.
Are there any apps out there which allow you to access the webcam features on either Windows Live Messenger (MSN), or Skype?
.
I hear that fring used to but no longer does??
Thanks.
Bump...
Anyone?
Ok.. spent a while googling and found a great app for video calling..
it's called Tango - it's free and it's on the market... It works brilliantly.
It's not for Instant Messaging, and there's no PC client.. but mobile to mobile works brilliantly.
