Hello.
Sorry for bad English. I wanted to ask you what do you think about a set of icons in this style.
Icon Size - 128 x 128
wow very nice I'd love to see them on my today screen

What do you think is the reason that Samsung puts such a beautiful high res screen in the SGSII (Skyrocket of course) then sets the DPI to 240?
Coming from my Atrix, everything looks HUGE and not just because the screen is bigger.
I have installed a utility that I can use to change the DPI to 180, which I like much better. Some apps don't like it, like the phone app doesn't size appropriately etc.
I'm just curious as to why they limit screen real estate like that?
I actually like the big icons. Easier to see looks lezs cluterd. Mabye the thougt most people would prefer it that way. Bigger is better. I wish we had a 5.5 inch display
if the icons were any smaller they would look blurry and underscaled on the SR, cause your Atrix i believe had a qHD 960x540 screen and the SR has a 800x480 which has a lower dpi and keep in mind the icon PNGs are 72x72 and they are displayed as 72 pixels wide on both of the devices, and the Atrix is 60 pixels wider and 160 pixels taller so icons are going to appear smaller than they do on the SR cause of the extra screen real estate
Hey I'm new to ICS and this kinda stuff, what is the best size or app for background images to used/make if i want them as crisp and best looking as possible without too much cropping? It looks like I need a square kind of image but isn't the homescreen 702p (1280x720) aka not square? :/ I don't get it! help!
This should be posted in Themes. Could you move this please? The general is starting to become extremely cluttered.

Your question is a little confusing to me, but if I understand correctly, you want to create a wallpaper to use on your One XL (ATT + Rogers X). If so, make it at the full resolution of the screen.
There are also scenes though, that will pan left/right depending on how you scroll through your home screen. I'm not too certain of these resolutions, but if you keep the height the same (720px) and play with the width, it may just pan in different increments depending on the width.
Good luck,
~dan
i have no idea what rogers xl is...but i just bought this htc one x stock rom etc non rooter(don't know how) from my phone company simlock free etc...so no extra software for my phone company ....and I do want to know what the best aspect ratio/res is for pictures without zooming, i have 7 home screen but whenever i add a pic 1280x720 on my gallery(via SD -->usb) and select the picture and do ''set as...-->wallpaper'' I have to crop it too something that almost looks like a square...but I am not sure! and if I crop it the picture become blurry and ugly (at least that's from my experience...)
You need to double the width of the wallpaper, so for a 720P screen (AKA: 1280x720), your wallpaper should be 1280 pixels tall x 1440 pixels wide. For a 800x480 screen, the wallpaper should be 800 pixels tall x 960 pixels wide... And so on.
Hope that helps.
I made a screen white balance adjuster for android screens (with a few other adjustments, e.g. tint and brightness)...
Some phones are lucky enough to already have these, like the Xperia seriese, but they you have my Moto X that has a yellow tint for some reason!
If you want to give it a go, it's here.

Ha, yes, well, this app corrects it!
I have updated it to adjust the contrast as well.
I also have a Moto X and looking for a way to get rid of the yellowish tint. I tried the app but I can't find a way to make the colors colder or change the white balance. All I can do is set a tint/filter and change the strength of it. Changing color modes between tind and white balance seems to do nothing. (Version 4.0)
Is it even possible to change the yellow tint with the free version? I will not buy the paid version unless I am sure that it can do more and it's what I really need.
Also, what are the downsides and the effect on pixel longevity, battery and performance? I tried chainfire's cf.lumen (which requires root) and it has the nasty habit of applying its filters twice when switching between portrait and landscape. I guess your app does also just overlay a transparent, tinted image over the whole screen?
I really don't want to get used to a new calibration and then find out that I have to switch back to the old one because of a drawback.
my N6 has yellow tint too...but only on the bottom part...how can i adjust only the bottom part ?is there any possible way to do it ?if i adjust my whole screen with your app there will be a difference between top and bottom ..i have this stupid yellow tint on white and grey background..on grey it is soooooooooooo bad
Cant decide what color or do I want the Black 64
Stupid verizon decided we didnt want White 64
I'm coming from 128gb lol so idk what's going to happen. Just so tired of the black on my s6, wanted to switch it off to white
White looks kinda dull though. Maybe it was the lighting in the carrier stores.
From Samsung's website, they also show these available......Hmmm, interesting.....
SM-N920VZWEVZW - 64GB Verizon Pearl White
SM-N920VZWFVZW - 128GB Verizon Pearl White
2 x Black Sapphire 64 GB., arriving on 9/3/2015. Wife wanted and got as a surprise. Coming from a Note 3..
how much available space on a 64gb note 5
black 64GB.
Why?
1. I think the color is sexy
2. Makes it easier to see the backlight on the capacitive touch buttons.
3. Darker borders around the screen are less distracting than bright/white ones.
Does any one have the always on display wallpapers? The black ones with a little bit of color in the middle?
