Voice Dialer / Voice Control application for HTC Leo - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello everybody,
I've been trying to find an voice dialing/control application that works with HTC Leo (including initiation of calls via bluetooth headset) but with no luck. The forums I searched mention Cyberon but, although it seems to be working fine, it is not able to initiate calls via bluetooth headset.
Could you help by recommending an application that works with HTC Leo?
Thanks!

Im used Cyberon Voice Dialer extracted from HTC Qilin firmware.
Work perfect!
Am used Touch Diamond 2 with LEO Software!
Sorry for my english... am from Russia!

Can you initiate calls via Bluetooth headset?

Yes! I assign hardware button (on my diamond 2 green button) with this software. If press green button long time - start cyberon software.
When connected bluetooth handfree press once button on bluetooth handfree and software starting. I have no problem! Perfect!
For you, maybe need assign hardware button first for this software.
Second, need 1 record for voice dialing.
Im used sonyericsson bluetooth HBH-PV705

Hi:
First, let me apologize for my English of "translator," I am Spanish and I like to encourage my language, Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the world ...
I would like, if possible, confirm that this application site works correctly in Leo HD2 since the day I installed oto another task manager that I let the machine locked, having to factory reset.
While waiting for news, greetings

Hola:

Some versions don't work with headset but this worked for me (Bluetooth button on my hands free fires up Cyberon for voice dial) but I don't have any hardware buttons on the phone assigned to it.

could you hear confirmed voice command on bluetooth headset ?
is bluetooth headset microphone working well ? cyberion "hear" bletooth headset ?

Yes works ok on HD2. I press my green button on my car kit; it beeps; I say 'home' the *car kit* repeats 'home' and it dials. I did have issues when I first installed it, as the kit did not repeat the word, the phone did. I did a soft reset and now its the kit that correctly repeats the word.
Only issue I have is that I can't assign a hardware button on the phone itself, but for me this isn't a problem as I tend to only use the car kit to initiate calls. My car kit is a supertooth.

Is there any application which allows voice commands to write texts?

UK User
does anyone know if cyberon works on UK based handsets, did look at google voice but was told that didn't work over here. Anyone any ideas??

Hi all
I actually got CVSD working reliably on my HTC HD2 - including call initiation AND voice tag recognition via my Jabra BT2020 headset - but then whilst trying to remove a previously trialled cab of MS Voice Command from my SD card it ran and reinstalled (instead of just selecting as I intended, so that I could delete it) and now I'm almost back to square one.
CVSD still initiates correctly via the BT headset, but the 'beep' now comes out of the phone and CVSD only responds to the phone mic for the voice tag. Obviously, this is about as useful in the car as a chocolate cylinder block!
I have found and followed many registry hack instructions, including pointing HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway at btagext.dll. However, I found that btagext.dll did not exist on my HD2, so I copied one from an earlier version of WinMo (6.0 I think it was) - it obviously works to some extent (as it correctly initiates CVSD via Bluetooth), but I think the 'live' time for the BT mic times out before CVSD is ready to emit its 'beep' and listen for the voice tag.
Does anyone know of a way in which I could test this theory? Or better still, could someone post a copy of a btagext.dll file (or whatever its equivalent is now called) from a more up-to-date version to WinMo (preferably 6.5, of course)?
I think I may be close to getting this to work...
Regards
The Doctor

you can try microsoft voice command, it is pretty decent and you can initiate calls via the bluetooth headset button (i do this)

There are several patches on the Cyberion support page:
http://www.cyberon.com.tw/Technical3.php
I had problems with my HD2 and Freelander 2 bluethoot before applying the patch. Now it works perfect (long press on the car green button). Beeps trough the radio speakers, gets the command off the car microphone and confirms it.

Voice Command, Parrot CK3000, Handsfree Profile, The World

Have the CK3000 fitted Wednesday with 3.11 ROM (yes, I know, they'll fix it next week) and XDAII
As a short term fix while waiting for the XDAII ROM with a better BT stack, I've been trying out Microsoft Voice Command (free trial version).
I think it sucks, but perhaps it's just the XDA which sucks. I've tried with both Microphone AGC enabled and disabled, at distances from 1 inch to about 18 inches, and I cannot get any kind of sensible voice recognition - absolutely sucks. I can get it to show Contacts, show Calendar, give Help, but the contact selection feature is junk. I can only guess that the XDA microphone is very poor or that there is an interface problem between Voice Command and the mic. For example, there is no way on the XDA to adjust Mic sensitivity apart from turning the AGC on.
Which makes me think, what will happen when the ROM upgrade actually arrives for Hands Free use? The real benefit of the HF profile (apart from being able to keep more than one headset configured on the device - I have to delete the HBH35 to get teh Parrot to work) is to do voice recognition for dial out (in the UK, anyway). OK, if the implementation will be to sync the XDA with the Parrot and let the Parrot dial, that will work but means training the damn thing. The alternative is to run a sensible voice recognition program on the XDA .. but which one?
The feature set of MS Voice Command is excellent, but it does not seem to interface correctly with the XDA. Any thoughts? Alternatives??
hi,
i sold my parrot ck3000 and bought me a hcb-30 carkit from ericsson...
it's the bizz....works like a charm with my qtek 2020....answers every call that comes in....and with the neuvoice voicedial installed, all i have to do is push the record button, say the name and the carkit takes over....
really, really, really, really, really good...
btw, did i say it was really good

1) where can I get neuvoice dialer?
2) you say press the record, but you need to speak into the PDA, no? I'm looking for voice via BT to activate the voice dial, and that doesn't work with the SE kit

Hm - I also have a CK3000. What do you mean by "they'll fix it next week"? Is there a new ROM version coming, or was that just a sarcastic comment for any potential update being vaporware? If there will be an update, what problems will it fix, and where could I get it?
TIA
Daniel

yes, you have to speak into the pda, but the program picks it up easily...i have my qtek attached on the dashboard and speak in a normal tone, and it still picks it up...
I had the Parrot installed Wednesday - the installer checked and 3.11 was current.
By the time he'd finished at 3pm they'd posted the 3.12 update!!
Gonig in on Tuesday to get it done.
Just downloaded, installed, tested and bought NeuVoice. Yes, looks good!!
All I need now is a handsfree profile!!

bluetooth headset problems

having trouble between my XDA II and my Just Wireless headset. I can create a bond, but can't get the headset to work. The headset worked yesterday, and I can make it work w/a different phone. What's going on?
probably a dumb question, but... what did you changed on your XDAII since yesterday when it was working?
bluetooth trouble
Rien, at least nothing I know of. All indications are that it's working, but it simply won't switch to the headset. Je ne sais pas quoi faire.
bluetooth headset "enabled" on the today plug-in screen?
Hello,
I got kind of same prob. with Motorola HS810 (see my post of yesterday.
I can call and speak with it but cannot get incoming calls. I hear a beep and that'all.
I'm quite sure something wrong with the french software in the QTEK 2020 but neophite so...
H E L P :!:
bluetooth
for whatever reason, a soft reset fixed it.
Sorry but soft reset didn't help.
Sorry but soft reset didn't help.
I'm guessinc it's the FRENCH part causing the problem...
Do you know the difference between the french and the english ? Is also Bill Gates fighting the froggies ?

Voice commander and SE BT HBH-660

Hi guys,
I've got the Orange Branded Trinity (aka SPV M700). I've pair my BT headset HBH-660 with my trinity and I've observed some curious behaviour.
I've recorded some Entry with Voice commander to call my wife.
I need to push the button opn the headset to active Voice commander.
I4ve observed some curious behaviour because when the phone and the BT stack are not used for a while, when I push the button to open Voice Commander nothing happens the phone doesn't wake-up.
The only way to solve my problem is to switch On-OFF-On the BT stack.
Did some else have the same problem ?
If yes dis you solve it and how ?

upgrading S710, sync handsfree troubles

Hi all,
i've just bought a S710 because it is mentioned as compatible with my car hands free original module (audi UHV) but when i tried to syncronize: bad surprise, it doesn't sync with! Checeking SW version instead of the required version I found WM6 5.2.1235 (build 17740.0.2.0), ROM 1.15.408.2 (i'm italian)
Now the question is can I upgrade the device to 5.2.1236 as required?
Anyone of you can help with other suggestions to sync?
Many thanks in advance
I use this software to have my phone being compatible with almost any Bluetooth handsfree Jetware Handsfree Extension
It's not free but the troubles with synching are gone and it just simply works well. You have a trial for 30 days to test it if you want.
In bocca al lupo, sono stato mesi con il cell che non si collegava bene alla mia macchina!!!
Ka.
Nokia CK7W
Thank you for this - it looks like I can now end calls properly from my Nokia CK7W, and hopefully there will be less echo.....
Thanks kast, but no way with jetware also!
I didn't understand why but it doesn't send contacts manually or not, this is frustrating.
It seems to be a BT limit, the phone doesn't start with syncing and reports a 'connection not possible' fault, on other hand i can see signal strenght, caller ID and operator name, other than BT basic headset functionality so the connection is for sure established.

bluetooth problem w/ patch and voice commander

Hi together,
after all my cruise is now working quite good, and even the odd bt-headset problem is solved after installing the two bt-patches (I´m using Bepe V.0.67).
But now: I can´t commander voice command while pressing the speak button of my Nokia BH-602 headset. This worked before installing the patches.
So: Headset works, but without vc function.
Anybody got a workaround for this problem? Than cruise is almost perfect for me.
Thanks
amcom
That function did not work with my Jabra BT3030 before and still doesn't after the hotfixes.
edit: actually on further mucking about it does work. I have both BT hotfixes installed and it now works.
voice commander now works with my plantronics headset but it never ever dials the right person.. I had a blackberry pearl before this phone and the voice dailing worked even when using a power tool, but the one on HTC sucks real bad
OEMAGW.dll
After patch, OEMAGW.dll chanched, 2x Bigger.
I also want to run MVC BTbutton
This for OEM progs working, but sounds out device speaker
"Path"="\\WINDOWS\\voicecmd.exe"
I found a solution, working for me. After reinstalling an original ROM without MS VC implemented I installed VC seperate. After that I installed a small programm called jetware mobile. This programm routes all signals to the headset.
So everything works fine now. I´m happy, hope you´ll be too!
