AudioRoute - volume is really low - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello,
In order to be available to use the WM VoIP implementation on my HD2 correctly (to get the internal speaker working), I installed AudioRoute: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=495166
It works fine for the audio "routing" -> the sound comes from the internal speaker (earpiece),
BUT the volume is really too low...
Anybody got this issue?

HTC RC E100 - works fine (confirmation)

Just a short information for all Rose lovers, that would like to use HTC RC E100 - this remote controller with headphones adapter works perfectly with HTC Rose with stock ROM.
Works fine on mine as well ... just one issue with the volume control :
Where the "old" headset had a volume-thing on the side that controlled volume independent from the system volume.
Now , if I use HTC Audio manager , the volume is always way to loud when listening to music , I can't seem to get it low enough.
In Windows Mediaplayer there seems to be an separate volume setting where it's much easier to get a decent sound but HTC Audio Manager works better for me.
Anybody know how to fix this ?

Too loud bluetooth volume (A2DP)

Yes, that's not a mistkae. The volume is too loud not too low.
Let's start from the outset. A few days ago I paired my HTC HD2 with Jabra BT3030 bluetooth stereo headset. Everything seems to work fine except a little issue - even with minimum volume settings a sound comming out of headset is faaaaar too loud.
Within last few days I did a lot of digging, but without working solution. There are some ideas like SRS WOW, however it causes bt to stop working(cannot turn on bt).
Maybe you know some registry tweak to solve the issue?
This happened to me when the ppc volume was at the max and I was adjusting it with the hardware buttons on the bt device. You probably tried this already but setting both volumes (as they are independent) to a low level might be a solution

Topaz as TomTom GPS for use on Motorbike -- Sound Problem

Hey Guys,
what I am planing to do is to use my Topaz for navigation on my bike.
Generally it works as I want it to work but I have one problem left. The sound is not as loud as it should be.
What I did so far:
- Install TomTom 7 on my Topaz
- Install a bluetooth headset in my helmet
- Redirect system sound to BT headset via BTA
- Set system volume to max as well as TomTom volume
So far everthing works great but when I am riding my bike its pretty hard to understand anything. So I have to get the sound louder somehow.
The Tool AudioBooster just says "No Headset Connected" when I am trying to start it.
Any idea how I could boost the sound output via BT?

Unzip attachment and copy to your Windows folder overwriting original and your max volume level will be increased.
BTW, this is a common question and solution is readily available with a simple google search. No need to open a new thread for this.
thanks for your reply. The file you provided increases the volume via. the Topaz speaker and via. (cable) headset a lot.
Unfortunately the sound via bluetooth stays the same or is increased a little but i cant recognice a difference...
any other ways?

I don't use BT so I cannot confirm if it increases with this file but opening the .cvs show settings for BT, so I would assume it should increase BT as well.
I have an Extra loud one if you want to try it, however you will need to adjust your speakers to a lower level to avoid distortion.
Please let me know if you notice an increase in BT vol.
still cannot recognize any signifficant change in volume via BT
Thanks for the confirmation.
Personally I think BT allows for too much background noise and your best option would be earbuds to cancel excess noise...
Unless you're on a Harley, then there's no way to hear anything but your motor...
Sorry man...
damn, the idea was so great and everything works perfect except this ****ing BT headset - whose integration into the helmet was hard work btw...
There HAS to be a solution. Still donĀ“t know how but i will get this thing working somehow...
Maybe I have to tune the hardware... a better speaker, a small amp or somewhat ^^
Anyway, if someone has an idea how to boost the sound, please let me know!

[Q] Bluetooth Speaker Too Loud On 4.4.4

Hi everyone...
I just got a problem since updating to 4.4.4, and after searching for several days, I still can't get the workaround.
So, I'm using a jabra bluetooth speaker.
When I'm at 4.4.2, the media sound on the bluetooth speaker and the phone is unlinked. So, usually I set the phone media volume at around medium, and then using bluetooth speaker, I can go to near unheard, or loud enough. Even, if I want, I can completely turn off the audio by minimizing both the bluetooth speaker sound and the phone media.
But, since I upgraded to 4.4.4, both device media volume are linked. So, if I press volume up on my speaker, my phone audio goes up as well. And, the main problem is, even the lowest sound (it reached 0 on the phone media volume), the sound still TOO LOUD for me.
Is there any fix? Besides downgrading, if possible.
Not sure I understood how it works with your BT speaker but with my car BT handsfree I just set the volume from the phone and only the BT volume gets changed (the volume slider shows the BT icon). Well, or at least I didn't bother to check the media volume. But that one is sure disconnect in 4.4.4 from the system/notification/ring volumes which are all connected. And the voice call volume doesn't get modified either.

External speaker phone volume discrepancies

External speaker volume:
Music = good
Videos = good
Online media play = good
Games = good
Ringtones/ SMS = good
Touch-screen tap sound = good
Phone calls = shockingly bad
(Also, the in-call volume, i.e. with external speaker turned off, isn't very great either)
I am not sure why this problem is occuring.
I'm certain it was not there/ or this apparent during Nougat (Viper ROM). Currently I'm on Oreo (LeeDroid) and have been told it is not a ROM-related issue.
I have tried the following attempted solutions but to no avail:
- Viper4Android (definitely enhances volume generally except for external speaker during phone calls; I have tried various settings)
- Modifying the mixer_paths speaker parameters
- Oreo Volume boost USonic headphone & speakers by Golv
- Turning up the volume manually during phone calls (during both external speaker on & off)
Any one else noticed this issue?
Any help/ pointers in the right direction please.........
The volume will be limited to prevent feedback into the microphones. It is not advised to mess with the volume on a htc as you might bugger it altogether. The phone is at its loudest from factory as it is hardware limited. Any increases over a stock rom is a placebo.

My external speaker volume issue (during phone calls) has resolved since updating to LeeDroids latest ROM (I couldn't see any difference between the various mixer_paths files of my previous & current ROM versions, so not sure what caused the problem).
In terms of volume loudness (external speaker), I can definitely appreciate a clear difference (i.e. a louder volume) using Viper4Android.
