Disabling Touch FLO

Any1 know how to completely disable (i dont want it in memory too) Touch FLO?

Try this:
\\\REGISTRY\HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\
EnableCube = 0 (original = 1)
It worked on my MDA Touch and i know it worked on some Orbit 2 too....

Tweaking instead of On/Off
The Polaris also has a number of other registry entries under TFLOSettings that, in addition to allowing you to turn Touch FLO on or off, also enable you to tweak its sensitivity. Does anyone know if these settings documented somewhere? I've done a search and found bits and pieces of information but not all the information in one place. Thanks.

Question: Why would you want to disable TouchFLO? I personally think TFLO is the best invention since sliced bread...

I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351082 under Tips & Tricks (post #6) from the Nike forum but it works on the Polaris. I changed the Touch Flo settings on both my Nike and Polaris from 15 to 50 and now it's much faster. Hope this helps, let me know.

I like TFLO. However, certain apps like PhatPad which I use don't behave well with it. So I would like to exclude certain apps from TFLO. I could do this with fTouchFlo by editing a config file. However, I don't know how to do this with TFLO and a search didn't find anything. Anyone help would be appreciated.

Good for you. To each his own.
I DON'T like it.
I want to use stylus or buttons only. I don't give a damn about finger functions on the screen.
Let people do what they want. Help them if you are interested and you can, but no need to denigrate them.
Don't take this as a flame - no offense intended - I just recognize that whatever feature exists for any mechanical device, some will love it, some will be indifferent, some will hate it.

I am not sure that is possible. Your best best is to make the PhatPad developers aware of whatever issues you are having so a possible fix can be applied to future versions of the app.

I want also disable TouchFlo and replace it with the 4 cube version SCLPF

Hello, I have my polaris for a week now.
But I have the oppsite problem. My TFLO is disabled, but I don't know why!
I dont have my Polaris in landscape mode, so it should work.
I don't have any strange programms installed.
Can anyone help me with this?

TFLO has reg settings to disable for certain apps. Eg there's one for photo album there.

Is there anyway I can benefit from TouchFlo and some of the SPB softwares (like phone suite, Spb diary, mobile shell etc.) both?
I would like to see multiple appointments on my today screen and also the task list by categories which is very important.
Moreover, I have found that the sound stuff doesnt work properly on any of these roms available here unless i use mobile shell which really keeps phone silent only when i have a calender item that marks me busy. TouchFlo sound option keeps the phone silent eventhough someone's birthday is there on the calendar or even if my out of office event is there on calendar..

when i killed twice manilla2d.exe all that absolutly useless (for me and maybe some other users) stuff as panel in the bottom and large alarm clock which makes my device stupid disappeared. now there is clean screen with wallpaper. very nice, i like it but there is string "tap here to launch touchflo tm". is it possible to disable manilla2d.exe startup on every boot and this start link on the screen? (via system registry file?)
so when it is completely disabled it would be perfect to have some tiny alternative as clock in system tray or on the screen. and one more useful possible function is smth like custom desktop shortcuts.

I will try to find a place to put a screenshot but the my bandwide on photobucket is justed up and Audio manager is in

maybe I am overlooking it, but is mms installed on this rom. when I go into messages I only see email and text. no mms.

Instal the mms composerposted by mr. Simonkjam on his everey vanilla flavored UCextrom for tnt ROMS, it works for me

Ive Been Examining The Rom N Turns Out That There Is Something Eating Up The Memory. Like If U Go To Setting > System Tab > Memory And Under Programs YOUll See Tha There Is Something Just Slowly Eating Up The Memory Have To Constantly Free Up The Ram (UNDER THROTTLES COMM MANAGER) For No Reason

the MMS problems (there is no MMS in the rom) so don't know if you have installed a cab
about the memory I've used my wixard the whole day and started with aroun 22 MB and now 12 + hours later it's down to 19,60MB and has been there for several hours... so maybe it's an app you have installed?
and no one has problem with screen not responding so it's the crack in my screen that is causing mine to not respond so good

mmmm I think that MR SVI and Mr TNT enables the IRDA, ask him if you dont have any idea to incorporated, 20721 or 20271? so the numbers makes the diference...

Another few Problem:
1. Throttle Launcher will not work in landscape mode. 25% of the Throttle Launcher at below will be cuted in landscape.
2. I think there is some problem the menu in dialpad screen ( When I click menu button in dial pad screen it show empty space with (A) and (B) at right side of the menu) .
3. No onenote mobile installed.
4. Dialpad is not so good. I prefer to use SNN's ( Pauldgroot for Diamond dialpad theme ).
Other thing is good. Very fast ROM
But now i am going back to SNN ROM.
I very much liked the Throttle Launcher 0.9.3, anyone plz can help to fix the landscape problem. I finded everything in the net but no luck!

1. I also have this landscape problem and it is supose to show the quick new menu like in the Touch Pro but it's prob a limit in throttle because the keyboard is on the other side the in most newer devices and APBilbo has a Herald ... so I'm guessing that it's set to change when you rotate to right handed view.
2. thats some mui problem that I need to figure
3. thats on purpose I never used one note for ppc or pc(useless app IMO)
4. I will look at that skin but I will not use it maybe change mine (I make my own skins)

Love the rom but have a question regarding the use of the contacts page. I have installed the file to get the contacts to work but I need to know how to change the pictures of the matrix characters that appear to the pictures of my own contacts.

on you device goto \Program Files\ThrottleLauncher\Setups\TFlo3d\TWolf\Contacts and copy the vars.txt to your computer and change the numbers and names in the files you also need to make new photos and keep the nameing the same foto1 2 3 and so on
lets say you have a contact called Jack and number is 1234567
change the first 2 lines
&nome1=Jack&END
&numero1=1234567&END
and make a picture of Jack and name it foto1.jpg in 150x150 resolation

Hello, I made a screen in Photoshop and would like to know if someone can make a skin for incomeing calls who look like that.
I removed all curtains for an advanced look.
The programm should not cause any problme with my beloved iDialer & iContact, it should be only about the incomeing calls.
What do you think?

There is not the smallest reason for HTC to program it the way they did.
That small Images are quit useless. Only 1m away, you cannot recognize the person anymore and to read the name it is also to far.
That could not be too heavy to be done for the guys on XDA.

I don't mind if someone would do that for you, but I would like to say that I like the images as they are, I don't think that they are useless. To be honest, I think that the fullscreen image looks very ugly.

As for now you can't use caller ID in S2U2 on HD2 devices because of this caller ID in WM6.5. So untill someone is making this guys idea come through or if A_C is making his S2U2 to work on WM6.5 devices we're stuck with this small contact picture.

So it is unnecessery to try S2U2, wont work? What means S2U2 by the way?

For now it is unless A_C have released something new that works on WM6.5 lockscreens...
Slide2Unlock2 where 2 is means to i think!

I found a lot of thinks with S2U2, are that different cabs or is it a big programm that contains that all?
Would like the "Slide to Unlock" .cab only.
Is it for free or does it cost something?

I have using Inesoft Phone (it has skinable caller id)
My current skin attached as example
It can also lock screen from acident taps before answer (like slide to answer)
But it's shareware

update : slide 2 unlock version 2.21 FULLSCREEN ID

Download slide2unlock version 2.21, then install BSB Tweaks and
kill all windows Mobile sliders with these tweaks.
THen configure slide to unlock to show FULLSCREEN CALLER-ID.
It works like a charm and even looks better that the drawing from the OP.

in the ,,advanced,, section there is something like ,,exceptions list,, where you can add the desired app .exe so that s2u2 will not run while that app is launched. soft reset after you chose and remeber that it is limited for 20 apps max.
EX: you whant s2u2 not to interfere with pocketmusic go into settings/advanced/exception exe (don.t quite remember the exact name and i am too lazy to check righ now ) and add pocketmusic.exe and so on.

Want a big caller picture when phone calls.

Sorry for my bad english guys, I have searched and searched and not find what i want.
Does anyone know how i can make the photo much bigger when someone calls?
Like the iphone when someone with picture calls it gets fullscreen and not like the htc hd2 with a tiny pic.
Hope i could explain it as much and best as i could.
Any tip and trick would be appreciated.

isnt there any other solution.S2U2 doesnt work flawlessly on my KS20 with wm6.5.As do phoneEX and inesoft phone.Isnt there a way just to get the caller picture bigger or even fullscreen like with phonEX without any fancy app or one that works better with wm6.5.3 ?

Well, the Diamond dialer with the Slide to Answer will give you the iphone look that you are looking for. I don't know what device you currently have, but if you have a TP, head over to the TP section and look for a rom from NRGZ. This has this feature available (I think that the app being used is PhoneCanvas but I could be wrong).

what is TP.Phonecanvas is only for VGA i think,i only have a QVGA device.Minimal dialer is better than standard but doesnt work correctly with smart dial.

TP stands for Touch Pro. There is a QVGA port of PhoneCanvas floating around in the Dev and hacking section.

Phonecanvas is an app (or rather a port) of a dialer.

pocketshield isnt bad but as all others my wm6.5 doesnt like it.I think either my cell is too slow or the builds arent ready for other dialers.The wm6.5 incoming call nearly always puts itself in front of the alternative one which looks odd.I ve done trying now for a while,and stick with stock,but thnaks for the tip
