Turn off Click Wheel Light

Dear fellow Raphael-owners,
After browsing and searching the forum I still haven't found a thread or registry edit to turn off that ''rotating'' white light which is often showing up under the click wheel.
Is it possible to turn it off?? And ofcourse how...
Thanks!
you mean the notifaction that you have a message or missed call etc? turn it off in settings under sound and notifications
Most likely means when it's charging, that's when it bothers the hell out of everyone. Answer: I haven't seen one that worked yet, good luck.

Thats not what I mean. It is the round light that you see when you're charging
as the other member just said. But you also see it sometimes when its not charging... I really hope there is a registry tweak to turn this off.
yeah it annoy's me to...
It's not only flashing if it';s charged...
It is flashing every X minutes....
I hope anybody has an answer...
Perhaps it's part of the ICI
lol.. bug the hell out of me too..
but some ppl think its cool
I've never seen the rotating light unless I'm charging or have a missed call/sms, etc. (which you can affect by changing your sounds and notifications settings).
So are you saying that you get the charging-style rotating circular light *randomly*?
As for disabling, the general concensus seems to be that it's not a registry entry and that the Smart Device LED API does not affect it. I have a feeling that it is a part of one of the boot-strap procs and in that case a file patch would be necessary. Haven't looked into it, tho. Just an unintelligent guess.
Does it do it with TouchFlo turned off? If it does, then it's part of the ICI
my original complaint - in an earlier threat that i had started - was that the rotating light, on when charging, is a bad thing in a dark room... i turn the phone face down but that stops mute on flip - - so i would like to have the light NOT on when charging
everything else about the light is manageable via notifications - just not the charging indicator

charging led off

Hi all...
I'm interested on turn off the keypad led when the raphael is charging. I'm use this to alarm and sleep near the pda.
After search about how turn off this light, I ask if anyone knows something new to tweak this option.
Thanks for all!!

There are few threads about this already in this forum. AFAIK there's no trick to disable the charging light. Anyway I always put my Touch Pro upside down @ night when charging, so that way its not that annoying...

[Q] Can the LED lights be manipulated to be a torch?

Hi,
A naive question for developers.
Can the LED light on the front be manipulated through an app
to function as a torch?
Regards,
Sam
The LED lights really aren't that bright (compared to the Droid1's or Droid2's "Flash" for the camera).
I think they were working on the LED manipulation, but ran into issues. May be resolved now... "Torch" will probably not be possible (as the LED is just a dim notification light), but possibly...
The only lights that can be used as a "torch" would be an LED flash, as that is the only light that is bright enough, however the Sidekick does not have an LED flash, and therefore does not have any LED to use for this.
Short answer: no.
thanks for this information mate

[Q] LED Notification Light inconsistent

I've just got this device 3 days ago~ And i noticed that my led notification light hasnt been consistent or light up at all unless i use Light Flow but even with Light Flow its still inconsistent. I'm on stock KitKat 4.4.4 never rooted etc. Pulse notification led is on.
Without lightflow it just doesn't light up at all for applications like whatsapp, wechat, games(Does the led light up for games too?). Whenever i receive a phone calls however it lights up white for a split second and then it turn itself off.. If i don't pick it up, it doesn't light up to show me that i have a missed call either, but when i turn the screen on, it lights up for a split second and then turn itself off again.
Using lightflow , i haven't get to try it with whatsapp yet but for charging and phone calls it works great but for wechat it only works if i have the screen on. If the screen is off nothing lights up and when i turn on the screen by pressing the power button and then put it to sleep again it works. I have the run in foreground on,Reduce wake on(not sure if i need that), and Nexus 5 force LED Reset.
Also since i'm already here, how long does it takes for google to fix the lollipop if at all? Should i update it to see if the led works on lollipop? Does OTA update introduce problems and bugs? Sorry if my questions are too long and my english is bad.

Notification LED not turning off

Help! I have a D800 and I woke up in the middle of the night to a blinding light coming from the phone's LED. It's fading to blue from green and then back and its not stopping. There was a amber alert which I've since deleted but the light is not stopping. I've turned off notifications for amber alerts and turned off the LED entirely but it's still not stopping. I have rebooted the phone 3 times. There are no notifications whatsoever now but regardless if the screen is off or not the light is constantly flashing. I called att and of course they have no clue.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Seems like the LED is bothering you. Could be some firmware app update ? Try powering it off ? Or let the battery completely drain and see if it fixes. Never came across anything like it so i am just giving you some things you could try.
