Turn off Click Wheel Light

Dear fellow Raphael-owners,
After browsing and searching the forum I still haven't found a thread or registry edit to turn off that ''rotating'' white light which is often showing up under the click wheel.
Is it possible to turn it off?? And ofcourse how...

you mean the notifaction that you have a message or missed call etc? turn it off in settings under sound and notifications

Most likely means when it's charging, that's when it bothers the hell out of everyone. Answer: I haven't seen one that worked yet, good luck.

Thats not what I mean. It is the round light that you see when you're charging
as the other member just said. But you also see it sometimes when its not charging... I really hope there is a registry tweak to turn this off.

It's not only flashing if it';s charged...
It is flashing every X minutes....
I hope anybody has an answer...

I've never seen the rotating light unless I'm charging or have a missed call/sms, etc. (which you can affect by changing your sounds and notifications settings).
So are you saying that you get the charging-style rotating circular light *randomly*?
As for disabling, the general concensus seems to be that it's not a registry entry and that the Smart Device LED API does not affect it. I have a feeling that it is a part of one of the boot-strap procs and in that case a file patch would be necessary. Haven't looked into it, tho. Just an unintelligent guess.

Does it do it with TouchFlo turned off? If it does, then it's part of the ICI

my original complaint - in an earlier threat that i had started - was that the rotating light, on when charging, is a bad thing in a dark room... i turn the phone face down but that stops mute on flip - - so i would like to have the light NOT on when charging
everything else about the light is manageable via notifications - just not the charging indicator

eliminating the blinking light while charging, possible?

does anyone have a way to eliminate or turn off the blinking light while the pro is charging? this is really annoying to me especially while i'm in the car.

This would be good for me aswell especially at night. Any ideas?

Just keep your device loaded at 100% charge level.

I would be interested in a serious answer too! I actually like it but my wife complains about the light in the sleeping room. So I always have to put face down it on the badstand

Kaiser notification
I don't know if it will work with the touch pro, but, on the TyanII/Tilt, do a search for "Kaiser notification". You can control all the @#%$% blinking lights
on the tilt. Personally, I keep them ALL off.

No TP on hand yet... but this is a future concern.
I think this is likely a relatively simple registry edit. I'd look for the value somewhere within HKLM\Drivers\ ... that's where LED notifiers have been in other devices I've messed with.
And once this is found it can be put into a cab... hopefully I can help with this soon (once I actually get one)

just doing a google search thats what i found. i don't think this can work on the touch pro though because there is only one light on the device. plus, the light i'm interested in controlling - the charging light isn't an option

[REQ] Auto Turn on/off on Alarm

sorry for my English, but I want to know if anyone knows a program that makes the phone alarm on my HD2 even when turned off.
Alternatively there is a program to turn the phone at a certain time?

due to hardware limitation, once you turned the phone completed off, there is absolutely no method to wake it up on alarms, it is similar to unplug the power of your computer, then no programs will be able to operate

I'm looking at this app G-Alarm from ageye.de don't know if is what you need it turns the mobile into flight mode during the night and after the alarm goes off it changes the profile back, at least that's what it says, might try it later.

This works i have it. It only turns off the transmitter which saves some power but the phone isnt off. Its also handy to stop being disturbed by your phone going off. You just have to remember to engage flight mode when you go to bed.

Schedule Always On Ambient Display to toggle off at night?

I enjoy the Always On display, but I don't want the battery drain while I'm sleeping. Does anybody know of a way to schedule it to toggle off? I wish it was an option in the Do Not Disturb menu.

BTW: I've tried to create a recipe in Automate, but I think their AOD option is in ref to the Galaxy S8.

I know this isn't really a great answer but I just turn my phone over so it's face down beside my bed. That way it turns the display off like being in my pocket.

I tried Macrodroid and it's AOD control didn't work for me. I do what marty does and turn it over now.

With the USB port taken by headphones at night, I can't plug in. So, I'm more concerned with battery consumption than ambient light.

Hi All
I just switched from an OP3 to an OP7.
I am missing very much the notification led for when the phone was charging... :'(
Any wau to go around that?

There's an app called notify buddy but you'll miss ambient display

I saw the app, but I cannot add notification for gmail or for charging

I'm still waiting for my OP7 to arrive and I'm already missing the LED notifications..

I mean... how do you know if a telephone is charging without an LED?? :/

You can't... Just move the phone and see on ambient display if it's charging...
That also bothers me a lot buuut is one con vs a lot of pros for this phone. I hope some day there's an addon for ambient display (even on magisk module) to make a "notification led" under the notch

turn on screen saver when charging....... i set it to clock while charging so if it displays the time its charging.

This workes for me sometimes only, its pretty weired. Sometimes it shows while charging sometimes not -.-
