TV Output - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

I was wondering if someone had a .cab for the TV Output. the ROMs i tried don't have TV Output included. Nothing happens when I plug in my Topaz to the TV even after I edit the registry

The topaz doesn't have TV out(nothing you can do will make it work). What are you using to connect?

oh damn alrite. It use to work on HTC Fuze i thought it would of worked on the Topaz.
thanks

depends on how you have connected the phone to the tv...
you need a orginal cable
or
cable adaptor from usbmini to mini-jack + mini-jack to phono + changing the reg key
cant remember if its left or right sound cable that the tv-signal sends out
depends on the need for showing the mobile on the tv.
many flatscreens have usb and you can mount the mobile as a drive for viewing pictures and recorded videos

There was a very long thread on this way back - nothing will make it work. If the TD2 doesn't have the hardware inside, which it doesn't seem to, no amount of registry editing or cab instals will make it work

[REQ]Mapping Volume-Buttons on Apple-Headset?

Hey guys,
just asked me if it is possible to use the apple 3gs Headset completely?
I mean this one with 3 buttons:

If you plug it in, you can only use the middle-button to play / stop the current song. There is no use of the + / - Buttons.
I managed to enable the skip-function by installing playpause 4.0a from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3548894&postcount=21
Now I can skip a song by holding the middle-button.
It would be nice if the other both buttons could be used too, for adjusting the volume for example, for what they were originally made for
Any suggestions or interested programmers know how to realize that?
I could imagine I am not the only one who would be happy to use that feature.
Not even some people interested in having this feature? Are you all using this crapin' htc-headset?
i recently bought a pair of klipsch s4i headphones with the remote and mic and i can't really use any of the functions of the buttons or the mic. So I'm in the same boat as you. I was wondering whether it was a software thing or a hardware thing. bc if it were a software thing, couldn't you just write something that would translate the apple commands on the buttons into commands that android would recognize? idk if that could be done but it would be cool.

I wonder if the hook can be cut...
get ready for a thread revival ladies and gentlemen...
has anyone gotten this to work??? i tried using my little ps3 keyboard with my nexus, device isn't seen by the phone... i read the manual for the device... to pair it with the ps3 you have to plug it in through usb... i don't see a way to get it to broadcast itself wirelessly... typing in the terminal emulation window on android sucks...
::::::::::::EDIT::::::::::::::
figured it out... you need to hold down the blue button on the top left shoulder while you turn the keyboard on... you also need to have an app the will detect the keyboard as an input device... i found one called BlueInput... works like a champ!!!

Questions about sound routing via car docks

I searched, but did not find much so reaching out to y'all.
I have a stock unrooted Nexus S. I cant find a car dock that will redirect audio through the USB. Here is what I'm wanting to do if it is at all possible.
Im coming from a Samsung Captivate. I have a car dock that charges and routes audio out the dock. Basically, all sounds, calls, notifications, nav, pandora, etc would be heard via my car speakers.
Now, with the captivate, I had to use a app called Dock Sound Redirect. That app is not compatible on the stock Nexus ROM or kernel.
Im willing to root, no plans though on any custom roms yet. Waiting to see how the stock ICS is first
So, the hardware Im using is pictured below. Its basically a male micro usb to female micro usb and 3.5 mm
Looking now for thoughts on how to make this so I can build my dock

[Q] Using my tablet as a monitor for a new computer build (?)

Okay this may sound silly but here it goes!!
I'm about to build a new computer, but I only have one desktop monitor . . . and it's attached to the crappy computer soon to be landfilled heh.
If I have to I can of course disconnect my huge NEC widescreen monitor and haul it over to my bench, but what would be too cool would be to rig my little tablet in some way that it displays the activity of the new computer as it takes its first boot.
Because if it doesn't boot, then I'm going to need online help from the home-built forums to troubleshoot what I've connected incorrectly. I would like to have both computers at my disposal as I am building, in other words. I have never done this before, but I have (2nd Gen. DSL) WIFI here at home and I can too easily picture me hauling my monitor back and forth NOT! lol
I saw the free Chrome app (Chrome Remote) but . . . I'm not sure that would work on a new build such as mine because I won't even have partitioned my drives let alone installed Chrome.
Any suggestions? Can this even work? Which Play Apps would I use?
Thanks guys!

BUMP! Help?

Android desktop mode : a much under-estimated feature

I feel like android desktop modes are really much under-estimated. From android 10 release, all media only talk about foldable phone support, 5G support, dark mode (ok this one is actually pretty cool) but nothing about desktop mode.
But this feature is just so powerfull. Why do you use a computer anymore? Using only one device is so much more convenient and less expensive...
Ok currently there is still one issue that is the software end. If you need a windows-only software you'r stuck... But are you really? If you use a cloud computer like shadow.tech you can get a remote windows desktop with all the windows soft you could ever want!
I made Keydock, a docking station in the form of a keyboard, that gives a really great docking desktop experience.

I would love to hear what you think of it! You can see more pictures on Mod edit: Link removed
I guess it looks sick, not sure why I would use it though.
