Hey Guys,
I am looking for a NZB downloader for the HD2.
I installed Net 3.5. and then installed NZB Mobile 2.1.0 (and 2.0.5 worked good on my old Elfin) on both my device and storage card.
NZB mobile keeps crashing when I start it, unexpected failure bla bla bla…
Has anyone NZB Mobile working? Or are there other programs that anyone knows of?
Tnx.
I'm going to install a version i have, to test it. Seems like a very handy app though. Will keep you informed.
UPDATE:
It runs flawless so far. It's Nzb Mobile v2.0.5 WM5 WM6. I use it for HD2 now.
Nzb Mobile 2.0.5 works fine for me too. Nzb files have to be downloaded with Internet Explorer though because with Opera they get corrupted somehow.

Found out that the .ini file was corrupted somehow.
Deleted the file and NZB Mobile starts working fine now..
I noticed also that opera does not handle nzb downloads well.
Tnx

Hey XDA techies,
Here's another problem you guys can help me solve; I don't know how to use JBed / Esmertec java.
I've been trying to play some java games, games that are available for regular cel phones (Which are the big craze today!)... Thing is it has 2 ways of looking for the files; Browser and local files.
Browser connects to the internet and searches for files there. Don't ask why, I don't know. Local files (which would probably make the most sense) says it found no files. Here's the clincher, my files are on my storage card...
Before I upgraded to WM6, WM5 had "midlet manager". It let me browse and retreive those files from any area I wanted. Now I'm just stuck. Sucks for me...
Anyone have an idea how to fix this little problem? Much appreciated!
Phil
Esmertec java is able to locate the local files in my case.
Maybe because I have them in a directory under
"\Storage Card\My Documents" ?
I have seen that at times the apps do not search the whole card/int memory and only look for the stuff under My Documents.
I am using version Esmertec Java 20070425.
Does anyone know where it stores files by default? I want to play with the Opera Mini 4 config to see if I can change what connection it uses because it doesn't seem to work on wifi on my P4000.
Hello,
I successfully installed Opera Mini on my Elf using Jbed. Works fine so far.
Problem is, I'd like to have it opened when I click the corresponding button in my Internet-Tab on my Manila 2D homescreen.
I tried using M2DC, but it only lets me select .exe files and I do not have an exclusive .exe for Opera Mini, only JBed. But I'd have working .ink file which opens Opera Mini just fine.
So, how do you put Opera Mini in there?
I'm using the german GOLD-ROM.
You will need to wait for an update for manilla 2d if you want it to directly open opera mini, unless you have programing experience, you can compile a program that will open your link. (and its "lnk" not "ink" )
edit: this workaround would only work for opening the browser but would not be useful for the links you can setup in manilla ....the internet lnks are a service call for the browser if i am not mistaken (which is why you must have an exe file))
joel, sorry to say but you're wrong.
Check here buddy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=429888
not wrong, just didn't realize there was a program that already did it

Another question:
I'd like to add a shortcut to an RSS-Reader in the internet-tab, below the YouTube shortcut.
Is this possible?

go into application data folder using the file browser and rename file "pref" to "_pref".
restart skyfire and it should work
the file in the application data folder is "prefs" and i renamed it to _prefs but i had the same problem.it remains the image "skyfire version 1.0.0.11783 connecting ..." i tried to rename prefs to _pref but with the same result.every time i run skyfire it appears to application data file the renamed file for example _prefs and a new one prefs .what can i do to make it work

EDIT: my bad, not yet supported...
Well, after about 3 weeks of using Windows Mobile 6.5 on my new Samsung Epix (yeah, i know, old handset), I managed to break swf support.
I had it set up so that "File Explorer Extension" would open SWF files in Internet Explorer, without quoting the filename, and i had Flash Mobile 7 installed to handle it from there. It worked rather flawlessly.
The other day, i tried out the Advanced Configuration tool from TouchXperience (can't post an outside link yet), and tried to bind the swf extension to IE, so i could launch swf files from Total Commander and other external sources. Something went wrong, i tried to unbind it, and it broke all support.
From there, i uninstalled Flash 7, reinstalled it, and set File Explorer to open them in IE again. Every time i try to launch a swf now, IE spazzes out, spams me with error report prompts, and then proceeds to crash to the today screen, closing everything.
Anyone know what might cause that? Or help? If i have to reflash my phone, let me ask this while i'm at it. Is there an unofficial ROM of Windows Mobile 6.5.3 for the Samsung Epix? It's not a problem, but it just gnaws away at me knowing i'm not on the latest version...
um, don't mean to nag, but does anyone have a solution for this?
