Arabizer cabs for Magneto

Guys i created these cabs for arabizer to be installed on wm5
Plz Check them out and tell me if they are working fine
i tried them on himalaya with windows mobile 2005
dunno yet if they work on BA

I forgot to tell you guys about them :
u can only install them at ur own risk
if they don't work you might have to hard reset your device
basically imaginet arabizer suite comes with 5 cabs
2 for enabeling arabic
1 dictionary
1 prayer times
1 Hijri calendar
i only posted the 1st 3 : no prayer times or hijri calendar because they are still causing a conflict with gwes.exe (reporting errors)

Just checked
they do not work on Blue Angel

please read the comment in the rar file
If You Want to install prayer times and hijri calender you can disable error reporting
the errors will not be noticed but they will still be there
i need help about gwes.exe

Isn't there any way to make jasjar arabizer to work on himalaya,I think they are the best for wm5 with no problems

First I thought it was a problem of certification , but later after installing 1.60c which solve the problem of certification, the problem seems to be there,Hope to found any solution for that

The question remains, the arabizer worked on your device?

The arabizer has been tested on Amal's device and its working!
He doesn't have the "C" version installed on his device. Just to mention that the caps letters are considered as shouting, so kindly, I'm asking you to turn off the caps

Sorry for that, I didn't intend to do that ,Thank you for this new idea,again i appologize for that

I'm really glad that you're contributing with us; I assume Amal will flash the 1.60C and makes more tests.
I suppose you're going to help, fresh ideas and tries are always welcomed here, that’s why we all love this forum :wink:
Pls lets us know the updates, might help us to solve other matters as well.

The jasjar arabizer will not work yet on himalaya , i'll be working on that but nothing to promise
about the Second
Man are you speaking about jasjar cabs or about the cabs that i posted ?
the link you provided is for a rar archive that is password protected
please download the cabs i posted and try them on your himalaya

about the second,i am talking about the jasjar cabs,and the link is for extended rom of jasjar which contain the cabs.

I have installed the cabs as you mentiond and found the following:
1- English-Arabic-Dict.CAB des not work, and I was able to install another cab. I found.
2-The letters in arabic reading left also each letter is far than the other.
as: ش ك ر ا
if you where able to fix them pls. let me know.

i will first answer nb 2
if u noticed there are 2 cabs for arabic : arabic reader.cab and arabizer .cab the first will install arabic fonts and character support the second will enable right to left character display (that is arabizing)
Enabling right to left is made by a program that should run on startup if u installed the arabizer.cab ; but sometimes it gives an error message "failed to initialize" : no big deal just go to start->programs->imaginet-> enable arabizer now
then enjoy arabizer
by the way this arabizer will not work on BlueAngel (imate pda2k) devices yet
one more thing :
something that happened with a friend of mine , do not disable arabizer from control panel
if you try to disable arabizer from the control panel you will not be able to let it be automatically enable unless you copy the shortcut "enable arabizer now.lnk" from "\windows\start menu\programs\imaginet\" to
"\windows\startUp\"
about nb 1
since arabizer is not working all imaginet program like dictionarry stop to work

Touchflo

do you anybody knows how to install touchflo/touchcube into rom which dont have touchlfo?..i want to ave touchcube and finger-touchscrolling in TNT4.0 or in some other rom without touchflo....i didnt find any cab with touchlo..only OEM package but i dont know how to/and i dont want to cook rom..can anybody give me a link to cab?...and i found this rom to artemis (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=321503) which have Bio Touch Setting v0.41-that is program to remap keys on touchcube and etc..thx..and sorry for my bad english

I have a big Problem.i have cocked a [GER]WM61 ROM with Build 21054 for my Touch HD
It is SUPER fast and all is working.But i cant uninstall CABs.
I can install CABs from SD-Card and with ActiceSync and the CABs are working.But under Settings\Remove Programs i cant see anything, the List ist empty
Where can i look for to find a solution ???
Please help me, my new ROM is GREAT but with a Problem like this is worth noting...

Searching for Windows Mobile 6.5 Rom POLARIS

Hi Guys
Im from german - sorry for my bad English.
I have for 30min ago flashed windows mobile 6.5 to my Polaris. But it isnt the original it haves the terrible manilla 2d interface.
So i used the Web to search for the original for Polaris.
But i didnt found it.
Can someone help me pls pls ??

You hadn't search a lot. You can switch manilla 2D to default windows 6.5 home in pcarvalho rom for example.
Which rom have you install. Give us pore details if you want help.

it's been a while, but not many WM6.5 roms around? I see only pcarvalho and pdaviet in the forum
but there's no way to search "WM6.5" as it returns nothing.
before there were many Wm6.1 roms...

Yes i've been there, but search doesn't work with "ROM" keyword or WM6.5
and the sticky that was there for WM6.1 etc now gone...
tried pcarvalho eXtreme but it seems very slow, is this due to WM6.5 itself? should I stick to official WM6.1?

Igo 8 primo=not working in s200?

Hi guys,is there anyone that tried to install this new igo version on our acer s200?I tried but everything hang at the igo 8 screen...
I tried many times but the best i could do is the one i mentioned before.I used a specific package of branding.zip,data.zip,and sys.txt named AcerF1_specific,configured for our device from a greek guy in this forum (i ve downloaded the package from his blog,looking for something preconfigured to boot this suite on our phone) but maybe was made to use in another version of igo 8,not igo8 primo.
I can t even find the thread about this package,so please i ask if someone could help me

Do not use these files.They are for Igo8 and not IgoPrimo use.

Ok i ve found the way to boot igo primo in acer s200...This gps program is awesome,great 3d graphic...If someone need my sys.txt or any other file configured for acer s200,i can post those in the board

When i came back home i will post sys.txt and the other personalized file for s200 that are needed to boot igo primo on s200

there are white a few sys.txt floating around for wvga, but i couldnt find any real wvga , just the 240x400 streched versions. Did you have more success
Anyways i prefer igo8, more functions and i already got used to it

No igo and igo primo does not support 800x480,the best you can use is 320x240...

Actually, this is not completely true. All you need is a custom data.zip with the appropriate resolutions and a few entries in sys.txt. I will post an external link to the above mentioned data.zip and sys.txt changes as soon as a mod permits me to do that...
Use for example this data.zip and update your sys.txt accordingly:

I had many difficult to operate iGO Primo, so I share with you the files that posed problem to me.
I uploaded the data.zip working for Acer S200 (and other gps with 800x480 resolution).

igo primo 8.5.11.155811 works fine on my S200, supports 800x480, but one problem is that there is no method to receive TMC signal from S200 FM chipset, so cant use igo TMC function.

igo primo 8.5.11.155811 works fine for me too. it recognizes hungarian tts voice, in the menu i can hear it, but does not stay chosen one when i push back button, the previously selected voice is active.
