IPAQ data Messenger strange issue - General Questions and Answers

Hi all, I got my hands on a IPAQ data messenger and I am using it, generally I'm not very happy with the phone but it works.
MY issue is a strange one I have put in all my mobile provider settings all everything is working the only thing is that every time I call Voice Mail I receive a SMS message back from VM saying I have new VM messages.... and I don't.
This happens every single time I call VM, I have used the SIM card on another phone and this doesn't not happen in the other phone only in data messenger.
So has anyone encountered this issue before? If so is there a workaround or FIX?
THanks
PS - I have a simple question is there any way to identify a forwarded call from another number? I have another cell on which I have setup call forwarding when that phone is disconnected or out of reach, I would like to know when I receive a call on my Data Messenger if that call is being forwarded from the other phone or is a normal call, is this possible?

Is there any voicemail software for windows mobile?

I would like to know, if there is any voicemail software for windows mobile which works this way -
When I do not want to answer the call, I press a button to divert the person to the voicemail software on the phone itself, where the person leave a message and I can retrieve it after that. Currently, I am using the operator's voicemail service but I get charged to receive the message from the operator.
been searching for it for ages as well. i don't think there's any at the moment, except for a couple of apps that can auto-answer by sms. hopefully there's one forthcoming in the horizon.

[Q] Help! Stock HTC Inspire not receiving incoming calls or texts

So about 3 days ago my Inspire randomly stopped receiving incoming calls/texts, callers ring out to voicemail and I have no idea anyone has called. Talked with AT&T tech support and found out there are no problems on their end. Also, incoming calls/texts will be received during outgoing calls I make (apparently the calls are routed differently for call waiting). I've tried deleting apps i've downloaded recently and even a factory data reset, still with no luck. If anyone has any idea what could be causing this problem, I would really appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks!

take out SIM
put back in
try SIM swapping with other phone
I am having same problem, randomly not receiving calls if the caller leaves a VM I generally get it later. sometimes my wife will call me on home phone and tell me my cell is not ringing and if I try to call myself it works about half the time, no idea what is causing this.

[Q] Why does a disconnected phone still make outgoing calls?

I have a Verizon Blackberry that has been sitting in a drawer for 4 years. It was given to me when I was helping someone out with their computer. I am not sure where the phone comes from originally. It was wiped when I received it. The other day, I gave it to my little sister so she could play with it, and she immediately tried calling my phone. The call went through. I haven't ever activated this phone, but it can make outgoing phone calls. All outgoing calls show up as restricted. It can't receive or send text messages. When I try to call the number that the phone says it has, I get a generic voicemail and the phone does not ring. Noone ever answers the number, or calls me back if I leave a message. On outgoing calls the 1 and the area code have to be dialed, otherwise I get an error message saying that this phone is not active at this time. Does anyone have any idea what this phone is or why it still makes outgoing calls?
Bump... any ideas?

Can't receive calls, have to cycle airplane mode to activate data

Hello, so I recently went from sprint to t-mobile, ported my number, etc. The plan was to flash U onto my g930p but I'm stuck on sprint's qjp3/series 5 firmware until a compatible U or even T firmware is released. I have had a couple of issues with my device that have sort of popped up over the month or so I have been on tmobile, namely that I cannot receive calls, every time someone calls me they are sent straight to voicemail. I do receive notifications for voicemail and the voice messages themselves, but that's it. I can make outgoing calls, however usually the first attempt at an outgoing call fails, then further attempts actually dial. Also, upon restarting the device I always have to cycle airplane mode in order to get the data to catch and start working. SMS and MMS work fine. If anyone has any insight into solutions to these problems, particularly the not receiving incoming calls, I would greatly appreciate it.

Incoming gsm/lte phone connection priority over other communicators audio connections

HI all,
My gf's phone behaves in a really strange way...
During an audio call using common communicators, say skype, whatsapp, messenger, if a new incoming gsm/lte connection is coming, then it automatically takes priority over communicator call. Communicator call is put on hold.
What is most annoying, is that you are not able to inform the person on other side of the line that there is a new incoming connection - no, the second incoming connection is appearing on screen, current connection is put on hold. To clarify, user can chose whether to accept or cancel new incoming call, but the 'communicator' call is already on hold;(
I find this most annoying coming from iphone environment, where I have full control on all live and incoming connections and where no connection is prioritised. When im on a whatsapp audio call and a regular gsm connection is coming, I can let other person know that I have incoming connection and decide to answer, cancel or put current call on call. I find this rather normal behaviour. Unfortunately this is not the case on my gf's phone which drives me nuts
Please let me know if this is case of specific ROM, or android os in general? I hope you could guide me toward an easy solution, hopefully not requiring reinstalling new rom. Many thanks!
Phone is running MIUI Global 10.2.1.0, Android 8.0.0.
