Came across a few listings on the internet that OS 5.2.21014 Build 21014.1.6.0 is actually a pre beta build, which contains confidential source code according to MS. Can anyone confirm this?

Looks like 6.1 still to me. I know Juicy's was pulled from one warez site at the request of Microsoft but there are several ROMS out there based on it. It could have been pulled simply because IE6 was in it or because Microsoft didn't like their OS being pirated. They're funny about that.
But no, it's not 6.5. I think it's just 6.1 with IE6 in it.

EDIT: 21014 contains WM 6.5 Kernel "elements" (whatever that means).

WMP 6.5?

Anyone think they can rip out the WMP from the leak builds of WM6.5 and make it an installable file or something for us users with older version of WM that has yet to see this new beta build supported. Thank you.

i dont think its been seen yet and as far as we know its the same as 6.1

WM 6.x changelogs

Hi,
are there anywhere changelogs for the different builds of WM 6.x available? I have seen the WM 6.5 build 21820, then again the WM 6.1 build 20764. In theory there would be 1055 builds in between, where I would usually "expect" several major changes. Is this true?

Nobody having some information?
Meanwhile I found a 6.1 build #21051. Compared to the one previously mentioned this one would be ahead of almost 300 builds. For 6.5 #21820 so far seems to be the latest one - I have found at least.
Are there any recommendations as to the build to use? As mentioned previously I would suspect that 300 builds - not to speak of the other 1055 - would come with a lot of fixes and other changes, wouldnt they?

Is WinMob 6.1 still being developed

My 1st thread so I'm ready for a "use the search" reply... [I have!]
The latest WinMob 6.1 Roms for my HD seem to be CE OS 5.2.21051...
has WinMob 6.1 development stopped there? I guess so as all new ROM's coming out are WM6.5 and it is due out (officially) in a couple of months.

according to some threads here the wm 6.1 will go on till 2109x
and further 211xx and newer versions will be wm 6.5
but as of now the latest OFFICIAL version is 21051
though there are HEX versions like 21068 etc but i would prefer 21051 (which i currently use)

The difference between between WinMo 6.1 an 6.5 is basically cosmetic. The big leap forward comes when WinMo VersionWhatEver???? runs on Windows CE 6.0. Until then, here is some music.......

Where do you get WM6.5?

Hi, I was surprised today as I found this forum (never heard about WM6.5, especially for (old) HTC Wizard). I'm curious about how do you get WM6.5? I don't think M$ give WM6.5 ROM for free.
I think all WM6.5-Roms here are Beta-versions, right? If so... is there any restrictions? Or can I use WM6.5 on my device like if it's a "fullversion" (SMS, eMail, ActiveSync, Internet...)?
I don't want to start a debate about legal-rights, just as I said I'm curious about it.

Non of the wm 6.5 rom are official and there never will be an official. M$ official release of wm 6.5 will be in october. According to M$ the WM 6.5 is only a skin change of 6.1 and will be an lite version of windows mobile 7 for low end devices and WM 7 for high end. If you want WM 6.5 you can find one in the Windows 6 section under wizard but non official
