I have a Samsung i637 with WM6.1. I did not want upgrade to WM6.5 because my phone is Telcel Mexico, and the update is for AT&T phones, and it changes the mapping of the buttons.
When I make or receive a call, to answer it, when the display light is turned off during the call, the bars colors change.
The top bar is overexposed, while the bar below is seen with a color more strong.
Change the color of the bars in screen design and is still being equal.
Only solves reboot the phone.
I did a hard reset and without loading anything, to receive a call and turn off the light, returned to pass the same.
Help me please!
Please, help me with this problem.
I need to have a soft reset after of each call.
There are any way to avoid turn off the ligth during a call?
This problem happen only if during a call the backlight is turned off.
i see that as unusual problem you should take your phone to warranty asap
I have seen another Samsung i637.
A friend have a Samsung i637 and have the same problem.
I think that the problem is for Telcel Mexico version.
I have Windows Mobile 6.1, I think that the upgrade to WM6.5 must be fix this bug.
My problem is rather same with yours. The only difference is that, i got no problem with the display light. After a phone call, the color of top bar and some icons in start menu is faded away, i mean the color becomes lighter and brighter while bottom bar color stays unchanged. I only have this bothering problem after every phone call. A couple of minutes after that, everything is back to normal. That is!

I have a HTC HD2 and when the screen is locked, it shows a number 1 (identifying that i have a notification).
When i tap the notification icon, it drops down and shows me the voicemail icon - which means i should have a new voicemail message to listen to.
If i slide the voicemail icon, the phone goes straight to phone book, but when i call my voicemail - there are no new messages...
I have tried everything and i just cant get rid of this voicemail icon! I DO NOT want to do a hard reset.... Please let me know how to sort this out...
Exactly the same problem here! I wonder if it has something to do with PhoneAlarm which I have installed. I didn't notice the '2' before, but it may have been there before installing PhoneAlarm though.
Also, and sorry for hacking your topic, my lock screen sometimes stops to show up; whenever I have installed a cab and soft reset I have to manually adjust the registry to 'lockscreen always on'. Could have something to do with PhoneAlarm as well, but I've checked the lock screen settings in PA.
Oh, and maybe this topic should be moved to the HD2 forum ;-).
Hi all,
When I receive an incoming call on my phone, the top third of the screen shows the callers picture. However, the bottom part of the image is cut in half and not scaled to fit the area. The area below this point is all black with just a picture of a phone in a circle at the bottom half of the screen. I then slide the phone to the right to reveal the options to answer the call.
I've not had a nexus before but have ran third party AOSP ROM's and I'm sure the top half used to display the caller picture in full or at least the silhouette person for contacts without pictures rather than cropping them off. I'm also sure that a circle animation used come outwards from the centre of the phone icon when the phone rang to indicate how to answer.
Can someone confirm what I should see when I receive a call as I'm sure mine is not right. Do you see the circle animation on receipt of calls? Here is the screen shot.
Thanks
Steve
Resolved. Factory reset sorted the issue.
I'm noticing now that after every call when not using speaker phone my notification shade is drawn all the way down. I have to swipe up twice to remove the shade to simply hang up the phone?? I'm using Nova, don't think that matters, smart stay is on, it was off so i tried it on no difference. I assume it has something to do with the proximity sensors but can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
I have the wake up on gesture setting switched to on. When a notification comes in while driving and the screen turns of, usually when I turn the watch towards my face the notification has disappeared. Is there a way to make the notification longer visible on screen, even after the screen has turned off? It would be so handy if tilting my arm would make the incoming notification visible, even after a minute or so.
there's actually a bug right now(which Samsung refuses to talk about) that instantly dismisses notification pop-ups sometimes and marking them as read.
I had it just now while typing this, with not even 1 second between the notification coming in and me looking at the screen.
I suggest you report it, the more reports the more likely Samsung is going to look into fixing it.
Use bezel ?
Hey everyone. First I want to say I hope everyone is hanging in there during this very tough time. I'm having a problem with my Note 10. It's on Tmobile and I bought it from Tmobile. It's 100% stock and I've done usual updates from Tmobile OTA. I have recently seen that my missed calls do not show in my notification panel. If I pull the notification panel down into extended view, missed call icon is not showing there either. If I go to the Phone app and tap on recents I CAN there see missed calls. This is causing a major issue for me. Can anyone help? I also have gone to settings -> notifications -> phone and show notifications is grayed out.. but it's grayed out in the ON position. Also missed calls, voicemails are also grayed out in the same phone panel.. but in the on position. I'm really confused what is going on. I just want the missed phone icon to show in my notification panel because I often have my sound off. Any help would be great thanks!
