Hi ... I am looking desperately looking for a new Official ROM upgrade in English above 1.48.4.5 I downloaded from the HTC website that gave me the Greek version because if my serial number.I stupidly thought it would only be a question of language but it is not. For example my index in People no longer works because the langauage is all wrong. Also I prefer English Ireland because we have Euro in Cyprus not Pounds.
Can anyone help!
It was HTC ambigious answers that made me download the stupid thig in the first place

I have bye a HTC Kaiser, but there is no english and germany Language build in. I don´t found in this Forum germany Files to cook a new rom. I am a newbie and have now knowledge how to do it. I am scary to make a mistake and after this the mobile is demage / broken. It is possible that a expert post a germany flash rom file for the HTC Kaiser? thank for help

I have a new HTC Touch Diamond Orange UK and i went to HTC web site
to make a ROM update, because my HTC is to slow.
But when i put the S/N they don`t let me do the download.
How can i resolve this?

All roms and all phones are serial number protected, to keep people from trying to flash roms not intended for their phones.
If you can't download the rom with your serial number, then it was not intended for your phone.

Hi my name is djameel! Im a new member and i want to thank the xda developers for this great site and their help.
I have just bought an htc hd2 and the language is russian! I think that probably because now im in Ukraine! Anyway im not that good at russian language and i want to change the language to english.
Im new to the world of windows mobile and ive asked a friend how im supposed to do it, he told me to download and install an english version of windows mobile 6.5! But he told me to be sure of the ROM version before installing! that's where i lost him and he advised me to register here and that ill get the answers on how to do the installation.
its only the 2nd day im using the phone and im a bit stuck on the abilities of the phone because of the language barrier.
Please can anybody help me? Which type of rom should i get and how to install it!

Delete your Serial number for privacy, I think your P/N indicates you have a T-Mobile model? Perhaps try one of the ROMs for that?
Alternatively, install HardSPL on your device. This is a custom bootloader which will allow you to flash generic ROMs. There is a link that will help you in my signature, I will help if you have further questions

now the fun all time is runnin in bootloader and hace error ( becouse i was trying to upload incompatible soft)
i only found in xdda T-mobile Germany,i will try to instal them, maybe it's works.
NO it's not work, allways it's one problem 294( and what i found it's not compatible with my fone) now i have SPL 3.03 and the info is this i cant loud the HSPL on 3.03 im must do a downrage (?) tu older wersion and then but how, how i can't upload any of ROMs. uh it's crazy,

On polish forums find the PN the man had this same htc Hd2 with these same PN number and it's from Norwey.... now i download the ROM For Norwey from Xda and i'll Try.

Hi I recently acquired an HTC Oboe T9199 phone and it is natively in Chinese. I would like to learn how to flash this phone using an english rom to make the language english. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this, also where to get the rom.
I appreciate all the help and look forward to any replies.
Also I will be using my Tmobile sim card with this phone.
Still need help with this, is it even possible, I've tried searching through the forums but haven't found anything except guides for the Leo.

this seemed impossible.because this phone is not hacked, the SPL is locked..you cannot use any rom but only the official rom, which has not been updated for a very long time.

Let me know your mail ID, I can send you some link to download English ROM, further its not locked phone, you can flash any HTC 480 X 800 ROM.
You can also download T9199 English version from HTC Hong Kong site.
