Radio ROM

Hello,
I have a CID-Locked QTEK S200 (G4 Version). Its language was originally Portuguese and through some info collected in this forum i managed to successfully change its language to English, leaving IPL and SPL untouched. So far so good.
What if i want to update the Radio ROM?
If i use this RUU

Will this mess up with IPL and SPL or will it just update the radio rom and everything keeps working as it is?

doesn't include ipl and/or spl so you can succesfully install it

Even if it's a G4 CID-Locked device?

yes, I have G4 CID-locked prophet and it works perfect
I don't remember right now if I had to use NV-ID so you have to try by yourself

Yep, i upgraded the device this morning and up till now seems to be working perfectly. Thanks for the info.

Hi namco,
I`m new to s200, could you please explain how to change the language to English on my Qtek s200???
My sim is also locked by another provider and it doesn`t reconize my SIM card.
Any Advice on this ??

just upgrade your device to any available English ROM.
about SIM locked, search for unlocking tools in this forum..Im sure you'll find it!

And yes, there are a few posts in the forum that explain how to unlock your S200 so you can use any simcard you want.

sorry to hijack ur thread. thinking of upgrading radio rom as well to my dopod 818 pro G3 device. sorry to be a noob but what does the radio rom do?
will it make my phone have better reception?

Prophet language

I want to change the language of my prophet to english but I can't find any of the following packages

where the hell are you looking.. you can find working links in several posts,
you just need to search for them..

Both are WWE Roms, only diffrerent RadioRoms, but you can flash those manually.

XDA Neo WM6 Upgrade in Germany?

Hi Folks,
is there anyone out here in Germany (Munich?) who's able to do me a WM6 Upgrade on my XDA Neo? Honstly I'm not able to check out all posts to make it on my own... It shouldn't be for free ;-)

By the way: a WM6 upgrade is very easy! Just take a little look at www.xda-zone.de for a german manual, how to upgrade your Neo with a WM6 ROM image!

OS problem with Qtek S200 (dutch)

Hello,
I have an original Dutch Qtek S200, last year i putted Windows Mobile 6 on the PDA, but I didn't like it, so i putted WM 5 on the PDA, but it was an Englisch version, and now I need the Dutch (original) version..
I've searched on a lot of forums, but I can't find it.. hopely someone can give me the download links and manual here...
The version i need is ROM version: 2.10.7.25 NLD

you can try PV_Temp Step 1 but i forgot the link to this ROM its the same as NVID ROM but much better.. try searching this on Wiki or on this Forum... i will try to search for this too...
