There will be no more updates on this 5.2.1413 ROM, My goal is achieved: packages are ready to use in other kitchens.

And of course all the TOUCH files
The Cube is invoked by the voicedial button.
-Slide Finger UP the first time to invoke
-Slide finger up in order to hide
-slide finger from side to side, the next time you want to invoke.
The known bug(s):
-OK/X button
FIX: use the re-alignment settings as shown in this post)
Or you could try the reg file in touch.zip attached in this post
-No mms
FIX: use the Asukal mms cab from here to install MMS features. (don't install the pocket MSN, it's already integrated)
-No icon for zip-file
FIX: install the reg in the zipicon.zip archive.
-while editing today screen, it could freeze up.
FIX: install the reg in today-set-freeze-fix.zip
-`Maybe a bug': Bluetooth headsets fail with some users, they do pair, but don't function! Others report it being fully functional.
Not a bug, but a feature: there are only Dutch and Belgium city's available in the today-weather app.

Here are the OEM Packages For Touchflo.
Note:
---> in order to use the packages, you will need to delete some files and modules from the Kitchen <---

Use duplicate file finder (freeware) and add some extra filters for mui, lnk and dat.
Then you still have to remove the modules.
The OEMAPPS package still contain files not belonging there, so some could be moved to a new package, however, it's sanitized the best I could (regarding the time I've had)
I have tested these packages only as a complete unit, not the separate packages!
-So the problem could occur that a stand-alone package would not work.
DOWNLOAD THE NEW V2B PACKAGES HERE

Alling your touchscreen as shown in attached image.
This will fix all of the button problems.
Or you could try the touch.reg in the touch.zip (these are my alignment settings, could work, could fail, if it fails retry aligning according my instructions)

verify under settings/buttons that button 4 is set for the cube function.
Once you press button 4, release it, then slide your finger from left to right.
Once it starts rotating screens, to exit back to the "home" page, go from bottom to top.
I haven't tried the rom directly, but this was the function in the French rom.

the splash screen's nice, but after i flashed the first time, button 4 was empty and it wasn't in the button settings' drop down menu.
after second flash, it works and it's SOOOO COOOL! i didn't go to the button settings thing at all for fear of it being empty again and then me pressing ok and then losing it forever like the first time i flashed.

i went to button settings again and lost it once again. i clicked buttons (in settings), saw that button 4 was empty (after cube had just worked) and had to press ok to get out of it and now i can't find it (nor use it). other than that, it's cool.

so the action of going to settings-buttons removes the entry? Hmmm... I wonder, even though the registry is specifying the application for the button when it's opened, when the button control is invoked - it doesn't match to a predefined list and thus removes it. Once it's open, it has overwritten the registry... just thinking out loud...

yep, you got it. meanwhile (after flash #3 in the past hour), i'm going to have fun with this and not even think about touching the "buttons" icon in settings until someone who knows how to deal with it can fix it.
i haven't been looking but the only french of the today screen is the htc audio plugin when it displays the "tap here to play songs.." or something.

ok, the keyboard is not qwerty. i must flash to something else for now. that cube rocks though.
edit: whatever, i can handle azerty for a day if i can mess with the cube...

i love it but the only prob is that my keyboard imput is kinda messed ie if i hit the "w" key it makes a z and vice verca lol can anyone tell me how to fix this?
or is there a keyborad cab file??

Have been working on OEM packages, in order to use these things in other kitchens/ROM's.
So a touchflo rom will be possible from a kitchen of your choice.

The azerty keyboard is a pain, I know.
But I will be able to import my packages to a clean, WWE kitchen, so a lot of junk will be lost.

Must be a fluke, I didn't have that problem.
I have flashed so often this weekend I lost count, have switched batteries a lot of times (thank god for the desktop turbo charger). Also glad I had a sd backup, because at a given time the phone was protesting a lot, didn't even wanted to be flashed in bootloader..

I'm currently using your latest rom, and its great in terms of stability and overall features it contains. I had a small request which i thought i'd post, and decided to make a separate thread so that ppl can drop all their requests too, so here goes!
And now for my request -
It would be great if you could add PQz II into the default rom. Its a small app to enable control/alt key combos with a lot of other features for phone shortcuts, button shortcuts etc. Its freeware too! You can find it at www.nicque.com/pqz
if you could make the following customizations so that pqz starts this way by default, thats an added bonus -
1. Has the path to the "icon" bitmap (by default, its just a white blotch until you specify an icon in the default installation. the icon comes within the package though)
2. Set default keys to the SYM key for control and alt.
3. Make PQz start at windows bootup by default by adding a link in the registry

I tried the app but quited after some minutes because I couldn't find a way to get it working, lol

it really messes up the keyboard control for other programs, such as games for example...
if you really need it, install it. it only takes a couple of seconds and a couple of lousy KBs, if i remember correctly.
Rom devs can't include apps everytime users have a spacial request. That's what kitchens are for...

Normally, we set the "SYM" key for both Control & alt. This way, you press sym once, its control (shows on the icon, once set!), press it again it becomes alt. Its soooooo useful, i cant tell you.....you must try it!
i use it extensively, to do control+c, cntrl+v, blah!
The icon should be on top, so that it shows what you've pressed (control or alt).
The cooler part is the other sub-modules it has such as phone shortcuts, app shortcuts, system shortcuts etc. For example, i can set shortcuts such as alt+Alphabet for speed dials for all my contacts. No matter what application you're currently using, just hit Alt+S to dial a contact for instance, or even fire an application!
I also use, Alt+X to close current app, alt+0 to close all apps....really useful!
Try it out for a while, you cant live without it!

Can you add these files to Windows\ directory?
If you could add these to \Windows directory, it would be great! It changes the basic "Open/select file" dialog to browse through folders in a standard windows way rather than scanning through all folders and showing it as one single list!
It overrides this dialog at all places. For instance, when you try and add an attachment to your email, it shows standard folders for you to navigate and pick the right file, rather than making one giant list of all files on all folders!

EDIT: There's a small bug in wm6, the softkey labels are not shown though (not a big deal as long as you know what they are!) . The left softkey is "Up" one folder, and right softkey is for "Menu" when the open file dialog is active. Make sure you activate it under Settings->System->FileDialog and check the option in there!

how about the ability to call the last dialled number? can that be added? and maybe not including the latest task manager 2.0 as that has problems with the closing of apps.... maybe the earlier version 1.5?

Did you try HandyMenu or AEButton, they have same function's but much easier. For copy\paste I use Pnotepad.

Can you pleeeease solve the Bluetooth Stereo problems ASAP.
I think I already flash my Universal with all existing ROMs, but I believe none as A2DP and WiFi WPA fully working.

can i suggest to try rlToday? It's a very nice Home/today plugin. Working with VGA and completely skinnable.

Keyboard shortcuts for OK n Start ???

Hope some one can tell me , how to create shorcuts like "Ok" and "StartMenu" on the keyboard.I think this feature would be very useful ,,, I am sure some body might be thinking about this already ?
And one more thing I heard is the American model touch pro At& T model has "ok" and startmenu keys on the keyboard, so if upgrade the uk model htc touch pro rom with AT & T rom , then will I be able to use the keyboard shortcuts ?

For me can be better to unbind the home/back buttons from their default functionalities and handle them with AEBPlus. So I can have 4 functions on each button without their preinstalled functionalities.

I am not sure you can unbound home. Anybody tried?

Yes Home will be really important so yuo have a better use of the phone with a single-hand. Hope someone will fix this topic!

I'm using PQzII to map Ctrl+Enter → OK. You can also setup keyboard shortcuts for Start, Today, Alt+Tab, etc.

I realize that configuring PQzII might not be very obvious, so here's some hints on how I've set it up for myself:
Run PQzII_Setup.exe to open the options.
Set CTRL as CTRL. I want to use my FN key as ALT, so enter the key code 0xEC for ALT since there is no actual choice for FN (more info below):
Now I can use FN+[key] mappings to simulate a regular PC.
FN+S → Start menu
FN+D → Desktop/Today screen
FN+Tab → Alt+Tab to switch programs
PQzII doesn't list all available keys (such as FN) but you can use PQz_CHECK to figure out the keycode and then manually enter it into PQzII if it isn't listed. For example, the SYM key is 0xE6. Just be sure to exit PQzII before you run PQz_CHECK:

Note: there's some inconsistency in how the TPro and PQzII handle sticky keys differently, so you might have to press some keys twice. Also, it goes without saying that you might get problems if you map shortcuts that already have functions, like FN+W → £.

After some testing, it might not be such a good idea to use the FN key for mapping because the Raphael uses it as a double-sticky key (ie: press FN once for one symbol, press FN twice for FN-lock). Since PQzII treats function keys as single-sticky keys, it gets pretty buggy.

I have also tried this software and I must say , this is a must app for every Touch Pro Users , you can literally run anything with this software.
Only one more hurdle left for me with htc touch pro, when I am using any 3rd party RDP clients like citrix ica client, input is not taking from the keyboard, its only accepting it from virtual keyboard, there is one more thread already opened for this. Hope someone can crack this one fianl issue for touch pro.

Although the current result of my little research project is limited to being able to define a different keycode for the back button for _every window class_, perhaps with some more work it could lead to actually being able to remap the back button properly.
The home button can be (slightly) tweaked using post messages as well, but more work is required.

It's not perfectly matching the topic but I don't want to start a new thread since it also somehow matches the topic:
Does anyone know if it's possible to map the "back" hardware-key in PocketIE as "history back"? In Pocket Outlook for example you can use the back-button to return from an email to the folder list but in PIE if you hit the back-button you just minimize PIE.

Problem with install.
When i install the app to my Touch pro, i can see the icon, but when i launch the app, all it does is show a small white square next to the "START" (top left)
I have uninstalled itn and re-installed but with no success.
Any ideas guys

tap on the small white square, select "Setup" in Kontext.
Or run the setup application located in Mein Gerät (my device) - Programme (programs) - PQzII - PQzII_Setup

How can i make PQzII launch 2nd today?
I can't seem to make it find the program.
EDIT:
Copy the .ink to somewhere within my documents (I used templates nice and out of the way)
Then add a shortcut to a program select view all files and find the shortcut.

Installed and couldn't get the app started. In fact it kinda hanged my Touch Pro.

So it would be better if it works with Fn , cuz we all use it more than any key ...
nobody suggest it to the programmer ?

oh, you want more, you can for instance use a key settings customizer that grabs all the keys before the actual windows settings do and allows settings for press and "press & hold" or you can just go in the player settings, like in tcpmp, allow the player to capture all buttons (like games) and assign the volume slider to skipping tracks. and next time post in the right section.

yeah, maybe you should give a little more information, like your device, your rom, your country, how much you are willing to spend on such a program...
and why wouldn't tcpmp work on your device, i thought it ran on about every device out there. i saw it on coffee makers and atm machines
but yeah, in general ae button plus is very nice and gets the job done, or spb pocketplus, but that has a lot of baggage and is only really useful if you want all of the features.

Difficult or impossible? Without the bottom row, I cannot bring up the channel panel to change channels. Is there a way to change channels at all without that panel?

Yes... Program the on screen shortcut keys...
thats how i'm using it... but I cannot go into full screen. there simply is no way to click on it on the bottom bar.

The only way I can get into full screen is to open the keyboard. Of course that's not totally practical having to have my keyboard open all the time for full screen. Have you tried something like Gyrator 2 to maybe see if when Gyrator puts it into landscape, the fullscreen activates?
I have a Touch Pro 2 BTW.

The keyboard will do the remote control tasks for you. I believe the keystrokes are the same as for the keyboard on the Desktop version:
The Numbers type numbers
G is Guide
Up and Down Arrows change channels.
X is exit, etc. I don't know where to get a full list.
Also, I set Slingplayer to Auto-Rotate using G-Config. The Window Class name is SlingClient. This gets me to full screen without opening the keyboard.
That's about the only way I can make it so I can use it.
If anybody wants the files in the program's folder I can send them. Just PM me.

Hmm, strange. I added Slingplayer to the Whitelist for autorotate, using G-Config and it's not rotating. I reboot and looked at the registry and can see it there(SlingClient), but Slingplayer just won't rotate unless I open the keyboard.

Hmm, weird, it stopped working for me as well. To be honest, I can't remember when it stopped, but it used to work. Perhaps it's the standard 6.5 builds that do it.
Well, this makes it even more important to fix this issue. I have submitted a support request to Slingbox, so we'll see what they have to say.

I have a Samsung Intrepid, I tried installing and customizing with the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5 but no luck. The toolbar was on the right side and my pictures wouldnt fit on the screen as well.
I was curious to if anyone had any other custom roms for Windows 6.5 on a Samsung Intrepid worth trying out??????????????
