Hi all, Ive thought I'd make a thread on utilizing the
WVGA display along with the sense UI, so you can
make specific wallpapers to suit your want.
Ok so heres the templates, sorry I haven't
written much, if peole see this as any use
to them, I will update it later
The zip files containing each set of templates will be
underneath the pictures
The order the images will appear in are as follows

Oh, nothing. I was just sharing, in case you or anyone else in this thread had an interest in these for one of their screens, and you had the templates laid out so nicely here.

I believe he wants a wallpaper that looks like a picture of the inner circuits of the phone, something like if the back of the screen was crystal clear and the icons "floating in the air"

I sell HTC devices and saw some interesting stuff on a Legend:
If you press the Home button on the Home-Tab you have an overview of all Tabs on the screen. This stuff would be so nice to have on the HD2.
I wish, my programming skills would be so good like my Photoshop skills. So I ask here if some of you Pro-Dev's is able to make this app?

Fantastic idea! May I suggest activating this via holding the home button instead? It would be easier I think.
Also - did you see how the latest version of Sense works on Android? Pinching any tab with 2 fingers will show you a list of Sense screens. It would be great, too.

what also would be nice is not only for tabs, but when you rotate the screen on the home tab, you can scroll through open applications (including the tabs) like you do on coverflow (music tab in landscape)

On the Legend you just have to press it short, thats much faster than the long pressing. When you make it on long press you are not faster then swiping the slider to the tab you wish to open.

The Legend runs fast and smoothly. I don't know something about the Desire - it will come next week - but IMHO with Android you don't need the Snapdragon to run smooth.
The idea with pinching is also not bad. I think it would be probably as fast as the seccond press on the Home button.

I think, the rotating thing is more eye candy than time saving. But it would also look great.

I'd say Maxycy's MaxSense is the thing you're waiting for.. judging from the preview-movies, he's implemented this function pretty well!

Sorry, but I like the look of Sense. It's a masterpiece of work for sure, but i like the original design, so that's to far away from the Stock Manila...

I think I love you
I am drooling all over my keyboard right now.
That would be so awesome, but I doubt it will be possible to realize:
- Many tweaks
- Gadgets have to be drag n drop
- Mix of original Sense (e.g. weather) and completely new aspects (running apps = task manager)
Either way, if someone would do this, I would be SO paying for it!
btw: I still prefer portrait over landscape, but native rotation on this thing would be a relatively small problem

Further update will be available. I will clean up some errors and add new sections. Will also be added and portrait mode. Hope from concept to become reality (some day).
I think what people are forgetting is that the screen isnt that big in real life it would be impossible to touch anything on it

I love the "Post Your Screens" thread, but it isn't the fastest thing to navigate through and finding out the name of an app can sometimes be tedious. So, onto this thread...
If you would like to contribute and have your EVO design displayed in this post, please provide the following (In a comment):
a SINGLE screenshot of your best homescreen.
(optional) ONE screenshot of your best unlock screen.
a list of every widget and app that is part of your screenshots design.
What I am going to do is individually design a visual guide for the screenshots and have them all displayed in this comment. The homescreen artists will be given ample credit for their images, though only original and relevant screens will be added (don't want duplicate layouts).
Note: If your wallpaper is NSFW or not safe for little children who may happen to glance at your phone please provide a LINK to your home screen's screenshot. I and many others would still like to see them, and thus don't want the mods to have them removed. I will review them and move the links up to this gallery/comment.

I get your comparison apristel, but Techno is trying to do something different with this thread.Keep it neat and organized like a wiki, The thread you linked to is chaotic and disorganized. Most "post you screenshots!! " threads have few screenshots in them, and I'm sick of reading through 9 pages to figure out what cool battery widget the guy is using in the one I like. I'll be posting mine shortly, WITH links.

Slider is awesome! Just one question. Does the Document Text/Tab really supposed to look like that? I'm not sure if its by design or its not aligned.

Yes the Overlapping on the word document is what I meant. Anyway if its normal no problem. By the way, would you happen to know of a cab that can make softkeybar on Duttys ROMs 100% transparent or invisible? I have tried a lot of cabs and none works.
Thanks mate. I see it but I will fix it in the next days. for the softkaybar I use the .cab in the attachment, perhaps it works for you too. when not ask in Duttys Thread about the filenames for the softkeybar button. Can be he gives the files other names, so the "normal" .cabs doesn't work.

I tray it; but to be honest I don't understand much things from Android.
I only give it a tray/chance/discovering because more and more people are talking about it, and have sometimes some questions.
So I tray it to be able to help some questions.
But finale conclusion is that when I set my device on Android mode it border me jet after 15 minutes, so I revers back to WM Much more fun/understanding
fore me.
But If I must be honest, the only thing I like is the HTCSense.com Concept.
If this would be integrated also fore WM users it was top
But fore the moment (I'm afraid it will be fore long time) I will be a fervent WM fan!

There is a ROM.. MIUI or something that is.. Very iPhone like... Somebody had a little to much time in there hands and instead of a making a unique ROM Style.... NO they went with iOS in mind...
I tried it out and its not bad but so much potential wasted... in my opinion
