It has been too long for all of us waiting for a fix so as to use camera in dark places, and not to obtain an "all white" picture .... (mostly in a short range 1-2 m)
Any idea how to fix that crazy too bright flash leds
i second this.. lol the photos i take are WHITE
I installed all hotfixes. The pictures with flash looks OK to me.
But Jpg compress still too high. High ISO produces pictures with red horizontal lines..
Seriously guys there's already a thread for this here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=590916 we dont need another!
If you have a problem with over exposed photos please contact htc and tell them, as with the pink blob the more complaints, the faster they acknowledge and make a fix thanks.

I guess this normally isnt such an issue but Ive been using the slide2unlock program which is pretty neat. Anyways it can do full screen caller id pictures which is great. However, it ends up just zooming in on my picture and looks like crap. The pic I used is a 2mp picture so its gotta be fairly large (well larger than the screen thats for sure)... Anyways anyway in general to get higher quality images out of WM6? And if anyone know in relation to Slide2Unlock as well that would be great
Thanks
anyone know?
do u have the link to this program?
I guess to save space the phone saves the contact picture with certain compression and size. Slide2Unlock just use the contact picture that you have assigned to that contact and stretches it because it's too small.
I belive you have no option to use a bigger image, it's a OS "feature" to save space/memory and improve speed.
But I may be extremely wrong.
It's not what is asked, but I suggest you to use Photo Contact Pro
with the caller id actived... in the S2U the image in fullscreen mode.... its to bad like a gaussing blur image... i re-size for 150x159 pixels... and the problem is the same...
how to have a highehr quality images in the caller id..... thanx
I posted on this subject in another thread before:

I hope there are useful info in there.
Hey,
I saw some video's of rotastrain's program were you can instal a panoramic backround..
I tried it, made my own wallpaper using the helpfull tutorial, but the quality of the image... juk
Whatever i try, the image is ugly..
Anyone got it working on the TD2?? Smooth and good quality??
Working fine for me. I'm quite happy with the change!
The image will always be 1540x512.. so I can't see how yours has poor quality?
The onlything that's anoying is that I use the widget one (the other one doesn't seem to work) and I keep having to press toggle once every while
I also had 2 separation lines.. were the new image of 512X512 begins.. do you have this?
My img has one small line I can see. It's between picture 1 and 2. None between 2 and 3. When I'm bored I'm gonne remake it, see if the lines change. It doesn't really bother me so far.
My flipped picture has no line.
I did see a line in the picture that came with one of teh cabs too btw.
I had the version running without widgets on TESS rom.
Cannot remember the name but there is a thread here on TOPAZ where I mention the one to use.
I had it running with nice quality and with normal TF3D2 - probably 2.0 or 2.1
BTW - if any finds some with darker backgrounds please say, as the standard is too light for me.
Photo App that can use a Half transparent image as "background" "gauge/pattern/jig".
Hi,
1st of all, excuse me if beeing in the wrong section.
I tried some "PiP and Panorama" photo apps already, but I search for somethign different.
I need a photo app, where you can put any image as a half-transparent background, while taking photos.
The half-transparent image should act as an "gauge/pattern/jig" and should not influence the photos taken while using the half-transparent image.
I remember the panorma app from my old Sony w800i, where, while taking panorama photos, every next photo beeing shot, was shwoing a half of the previous photo, so you coudl attach the next shot properly.
What I am trying to achieve with this ? It is for a little project, to add images into another image, which otherwise would involve lots of photoshopping i.e. Distort/Skew/Perspective and so on.
Whit this app Im searching for, a lot of photoshopping would not be needed, as I could use the half transparent image in the camera background, to take photos from the right angle without needing to use Distort/Skew/Perspective later.
I really hope humans understand this wall of text
Thanks in advance.
Photochron from the PlayStore did the job...more or less :/
So i am hoping to find a camera app that will help me take near identical pictures each day. I am doing a weight loss challenge with some friends and want to take a picture each day and be able to string everything together into a video showing weight loss over time.
I can do my best to stand in the same place and snap a pic. But ideally I would like to be able to overlay yesterday's pic with transparency in a camera app so that I can have a reference point for distance, position, zoom, etc. For the next pic. Basically so that whoever is taking the pic can line up the daily pic with the exact position of the previous pic by overlapping the real image with yesterday's image..... Hopefully I'm making sense.
I've been searching for an app that will let me do this. Does one exist? or one of you bright people out there could write one and make $0.99 of of me. Any thoughts? Much appreciated!
hey guys.
I've looked up the similar/same problem on this section but I can't find any.
It may mean only I have this problem......
Well, you know 'beauty' mode on selfie, it isn't working well.
I selected 'beauty' mode and when I look into the phone, I can clearly see the effect.
But when I take a photo and check it in the album, the effect is not applied.
the image on the screen and the image actually taken are different.
This had happened long while ago I guess(I don't really know because I don't take a selfie often....)
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please help me out!!!
Many thx!
