I got the black 16gb nexus 5 exactly one week before this posting. I have used it for one week without any problems . however I want to get the 32gb model I read on Google return page that if you're not satisfied with the device you can return it in 15 days.I now want to know whether I will get full device cost minus shipping since I have used it for one week. If any one has returned their device share our experience and also any reason I can give so that they will accept return. I am from India purchased the phone from play store India.please don't hesitate to share ur experience if you bought it in a different country. Thanks in advance.

It might be less complicated to request to return the phone for a refund and then place an order for a new 32GB phone in a separate encounter with Google.

So Google will accept return even after I have used the device and it has no problem within 15 days.

As posted above, talking to Google directly will probably give you the best answer. I know that every time I've contacted google support they were very easy to work with. As long as you don't tell them you want a refund to get an iPhone 5S then you are less likely to have problems lol
I did a chat session last night (around 9PM eastern time) to arrange for a return of my 32 gb N5 (like the phone, but network connectivity issues are driving me nuts). I've had it a week so I'm still within the return window. It took about 15 minutes and last night around 10:30 I got the email with the return label and RMA form.
When starting the chat window click on 'Changing Order' - eventually you'll see an option to chat about returns.

I didn't ask, but I expect to get $422 back (phone plus 7% tax, - cost to ship back). I don't plan on getting my original shipping amount back. I guess I'll know for sure in about 2 weeks

Nice keep posted, I gather there is no restocking or other fee good to know that you get 100% phone amount, bye the way the shipping was free and there was no tax levied the bill mentioned 0% vat and other tax. So does that mean I will get full money back?

I contacted Google but there is no return facility in India and replacement will get me a 16 GB model only after the technitions decide the defect is covered under warranty

Anyone have the white pages options? I thought there were supposed to be settings built into the dialer.
I haven't received any random phone calls to see if this is active
The normal Google Rom used to have it but I've never seen it on a Samsung device.

has the elimination of the White Pages integration in the US been confirmed? I was really looking forward to this! I Have not been able to find anything concrete either way.
The only thing I have seen is you can search local businesses in contacts to call them.
It definitely is not on the T-Mobile variants. Same for the Galaxy Labs settings.

I saw something in the set up process for the Sprint S7 related to showing information about spam callers and there is an option under Phone > More > Settings for it. I think this is white pages.

Are you sure that wasn't tmobile ID service that costs 3.99 a month. I have a feeling tmobile removed this from S7 on their network because Samsung's solution is a direct competitor to their paid service.

I got the 10 day trial also it flag my 2 step verification from dropbox
I have the T-Mobile variant and searching businesses in the dialer is there for me. In the phone app go to the Contacts tab and tap on the search bar, then a dropdown box appears asking if you want to turn Tips on. Click it and an agreement form pops up, click ok, and I can search businesses right in the dialer.

I think they were talking about the T-Mobile Name-ID app, which is a service that has a monthly fee.

In the bigger picture what does this mean? None of the Best Buy stores within a 50 mile radius of me (6 of them) have the PH-1 in stock. Only internet orders. And Amazon doesn't have it anymore, either.....

I ordered the white one and should receive it Wednesday. The only problem I had was the 360 camera wasn't available for online purchase.

Could be, it sounds like they have plenty from what we've heard about sales.
Amazon also has Black for $449
It's a downward trend for the newer hardware developers. I hope they find success in some form, or else we will be relegated to the big 3 (or 2!). The smaller phone developers provide for competition in the market, but if they fail this spectacularly, new players will dry off and the bigger players will get to charge as much as they want.
The bigger players are increasing the MSRP so much that the smaller players are getting a free run to increase their prices thinking they'll get away due to the price difference, but that is not happening, and companies like OnePlus and Essential should keep that in mind when increasing cost following the established market players.

Best buy has an "unlocked phone sale event" this week so I wouldn't necessarily say this is a price drop that's permanent
I hope root and official TWRP comes out soon. It's the Essential Phone at $449 or I'll get the OnePlus 5T for the $500 or so price, which will guaranteed have big development.

As mentioned, it goes n and out of stock. That's the link. Yesterday it allowed you to preorder for Nov 11 stock at $449. Clearly, they're out of stock again.
You'll have to periodically check both black and white listings if you want to snag it at $449 from Amazon. That is certainly Amazon's Essential phone link, though.

Seem google store reserved my money. It means they are preparing shipping soon, before 6-9th of Nov.
I have attempted to order from Google Store Germany to Denmark via Mailboxde / Mygermany several times, but the orders are all cancelled after 24 hours due to 'suspicious activity'. Seems to have happened to everyone ordering to known mail forwarding services (nothing wrong with my card or Google account).
Has this happened to anyone else? I ordered a 2XL and a Google Home without a hitch back in April this year.

Apparently its an issue effecting a lot of users as per Google customer support. Maybe try ordering via Mediamarkt? I am waiting for a call/email from Google support to get an idea as to how to resolve it. Will update more when I get some news.

Here is the response from german Google Store support for 2 cancelled orders that I attempted to ship via Mailboxde and Mygermany:
"I already have a reply from the 2nd level support. We found the reason why your orders has been cancelled. It looks like that your delivery address for the Pixel 3 XL is a PO Box. Our shipper cannot deliver to non-residential locations (such as PO Boxes or Mail Forwarding Service addresses) or military addresses. You can place a new order, but you will need a valid shipping address."
However I ordered a 3XL from Mediamarkt to Mailboxde and it seemed to work perfectly. Even gave 50% discount on accessories (so got a stand for EUR40).
Just got a charge for the phone on my credit card. Can't cancel the order anymore. I am guessing it ships tomorrow.
I orderd my pixel 3 xl by smartmobil.de.
I needed a contract for my daughter anyway. And the price is cheap.
Delivery date 08.11.2018.
I orderd also the original case with Google store.
