hi i hate the weather clock in sense 2.5 so is there a way to either
1 - remove weather clock with non weather clock in 2.5
or
2 - pin the small clock and shortcuts in the up position ,, ie. so the cant be scrolled back down to the main home display with 3 shortcuts and big clock
basically i want rid of the weather on the phone its good for posing but generally ugly and crap in my opinion,, please help lols

But you take away the clock or the weather?
i just want a non weather clock in my sense 2.5
a way to replace it with a pre manila 2.1 clock or just make all weather graphics transparent will do, i dont want the space for anything i just dont want to see it.

Might as well just do this:
On the HTC Sense UI, you go to Settings, go to all settings from the menu tab on the bottom right. From there choose Today, then flick left to the Items tab, and change the selection to Windows Default and ensure that Sense is unchecked.

After I install the action screen, I can't assign any other app to the send key even after I uninstall the action screen.

Even though the work for the icons is others, I do however thank jaguaralani for taking the effort to put them together.
I was using the other ActionScreen that is tweaked for the HD2, but personally I find the icons resolution a bit low to do any justice for HD2. Now I am using what you have put together and am really happy with it.
I installed TouchX SendKey lockscreen and it is able to take over control from ActionScreen as someone complaint that he lost control of the SendKey longpress even after un-installing this app.
in fact they didnt make the icons for this Action Screen, i took the icon backgrounds only and edited them and added the black circlular icons to go along with the action screen.
I have tried Cookies Home Tab, so far I like it...but I have not gotten a chance to try 'maxManila' and I was wondering if you all could provide some pros vs cons, or at least tell me which you personally would prefer and why (if possible)? Or even just tell me what are the differences, or just main differences ?

+1. I'd like to know too.
I personally prefer MaxManila. It's very easy to customize, allows you to (re)arrange your homescreen to your own needs (mine is almost empty, besides clock-weather-date and notification icons - no slider). It's compatible with a lot of other cabs/tweaks/progs. It's stable as a rock. I also used Cookie's Home tab for a short while but, at least on my HD2, it is not as stable as MaxManila and it's relatively power hungry (who needs 48 shortcuts anyway?).
Of course this is my personal opinion. Both mods are absolutely great but, alas, they can't function together, thus choices have to be made: MaxManila
There's a release of Co0kie's Home Tab coming soon that should shake things up a little
in cookies you have a nice function to slide your icons from page 1,2 and 3
but in max you have the nice clock functions like the analog clock,and pic your own wallpaper for the animations(animated wallpaper).
i think maxmanila is more fun and cookies more for business
Mostly a question of preference, you should try both and see what you prefer. Maxmanila is not for me, I don't care the slightest about being able to move stuff around, change clock, change borders, sliders,... the stock Sense look is excellent. But I really like having my 3 pages of 5x4 shortcuts, appointments, or empty home screen CHT allows for...

Not for me either, but coockie has announced earlier that adjustable clocks are on his to do list (for the upcoming version). I prefered Max but when coockie introduced his 1.6.1 version (7th of March) I caved...as said above...more for business, but I do miss Max's adjustable clocks.
Coockie's new version should close that gap I sure hope so
I miss the slide function from page to page from my long gone HTC Hero, so I prefer cookie's mod. Maxmanila is good if u like to change the clock and wallpaper often with just some simple and quick click. U should give maxmanila a try to see what u prefer more

i am just asking.
I thought it would be nice to honour and recognise the massive contribution from Co0kieMonster and John (CHTE) by starting a post specifically for Wallpapers and perhaps Themes to come.

When browsing the threads I've noticed loads of people who have posted home screens with CHT and the quick link tab indicator at the top right of the screen..
Well, I thought you could only have 3 pages of quicklinks..
Some people seem to have up to 9??!!?!?!!?
Is it a CHT mod?

Yes it is CHT; If my memory is good from version 1.7 it's possible to have more than 3 tabs.
When you open CHTEditor, and go on settings you will see the parameters fore how much page you will created.
when you have 3X3 shortcuts you can created max 6 pages
when you have 4X4 shortcuts you can created max 5 pages
when you have 5X4 shortcuts you can created max 4 pages
when you have 5X5 shortcuts you can created max 3 pages

Thank you, I thought I was going crazy!
I had to send my HD2 back for repairs when 1.7 came out, so i skipped it and moved on to 1.8.5...

So made my own!!
There are 3 different ones as per the attached image.
Each zip contains the original .png for CFC_Gui users. A Manila file for those wanting to direct overwrite...(Back-up first!!)
There is also a cab for those with less skills or courage

The other one is right though (3EA7E114) for the CHT 2.0 SMS widget background (which was the one I was looking for ) I had already found it in CFC GUI and have had a go at skinning it (needs a bit more tweaking before I'm happy with it but it's a start and at least we know we're looking at the correct file!) - screenshot below.
