Hi everyone,
my HD2 always has an error call "CreateDIBfail" during play video and check photo in Resco Photo Manager. Despite the error causes the machine cannot run photo and video program anymore and toolbar at the top would disappear, it still can go to key "home". Do you know what is it and how to solve it?

The problems:
1) cannot play 3gp files in windows media player:
I downloaded the TCMP to solve the first problem
2) cannot view image in default photo viewer (the one in windows mobile, not the one in HTC)
I download a photo viewer to solve the second problem
3) cannot play youtube videos in the HTC youtube player (but it can found the videos)
Even I download coreplayer, my opal still cannot play youtube video (it still can find video)
Does anyone know what happened, or have the same problem?
Is there any way for my opal to work in default again (besides hard reset)??

did you installed any programs before the problems that you described appeared..? try remove them.

I can't think of any.
It seems that it was after I installed M2DC.
I try to uninstall the M2DC but it still not working
You may want to consider Hard resetting your device. M2D can cause havoc in the device due to the large number of files that must be written to the main memory. Do a back up prior to hard resetting.

I am looking for an application that will show visualizations on my uni screen when I’m playing mp3s, similar to window music player on my notebook. I have installed and uninstalled a few applications as none that i can find seem to do it. Would be very grateful for any help with this.
s2p is a good one, finger friendly and it can show you the album and more

thank you for a very speedy reply, have found the cab, about to give it a whirl. unfortunately i didn't work correctly it installed but displayed in permanent portrait mode and there was no option to change it, secondly it froze and i had to do a soft reset to close it. So i uninstalled and got a copy of Conduits Pocket Player seems to be exactly what i was looking for, thanks once more for your help.
Hey! I have two problems I am hoping someone can help me with.
1. The digital time used appear in the top right hand corner of my phone but i must have hit something and now there is just a clock symbol and I have to touch it to view the time. I don't know how to fix it to show the time again. I attached a pic of what it looks like now. Its a little blurry though.
2. I cannot play any videos on my phone. I have wmp 10 mobile for pocket pc. I can record video, I cannot play it back though,I cannot view any videos on the internet, and if someone emails me a video I cannot open it. It just gives me a error message that says "Cannot play file".

The clock problem is simply a reg entry (use Advanced Config if anything). The other issue may have to do with the codecs not present in WMP 10. Try to use something else such as TCPMP or CorePlayer to play videos.
I am not technology inclined . Can you possibly give me step by step instructions on how to fix it?
I've been all through my phone settings trying to figure this time/clock thing out. I am about to pull my hair out!!! Please help!!!

Would have thought that would need a major redesign of the app. You can find out a video's name by opening it, pressing stop, then selecting the right menu button and finally properties.

ohh... that's a plenty of work. and uncomfortable... takes a lot of time...
I've noticed on my friend's N900 that there are names under the thumbnails in video gallery and found it VERY good, especially if you have a lot of trailers, movies, music videos... never know where's the video you're lookin' for, unless you have a name of video written...
....open in editor mode? The wife’s is the same and the only way open videos so that you have the usual controls is to click the three dots on the bottom right and chose open in video player.
I’m sure it only happened since the last update. If i need to use the editor I will switch to it but that is rear. Can it be forced to open in player at the start?

Considering there are no replies at all, I may not have explained the problem properly.
When I click to open a video, it opens as the first picture. I then have to click the 3 dots on the bottom right to open it in video player (picture 2), that takes me to picture 3. I never before had to go through these steps before, it always used to open in the video player first. Am I the only one with this problem?

I'm trying to understand, why you opening videos via Gallery app.
(i presume it's via Gallery app)
Have you got the Samsung Video Library app also installed.
You have to, to view videos directly.!

You can browse and play video content.
play.google.com
All you do is, open video directly from this app. Even hover S pen over video to get preview video.

The reason for that is because I always opened it from galley and it had, till recently, opened in video player, which is Samsung Video Library. Also, if you have any videos in the secure folder, you have no choice of opening it in video player unless you go through the extra clicks. That is the reason for looking somehow to force videos to open in Samsung Video Library from gallery as it used to do. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for explaining. I understand.
For me the Samsung Gallery app (video)
is now intended (actually been, quite some time now) if you either want to edit a video or set a video as Lockscreen wall.
Bottom line,
as i see it Samsung does not actually see Gallery app, as video player, as such....anymore.!
Only linking it (hiding) access in Gallery app settings.
So your choice is,
either use the Samsung Video library or bear the extra taps.!
