Monopoly game not found in Windows Marketplace - General Questions and Answers

I have an Xperia X1a. When Windows Marketplace first became available as a .cab I purchased the monopoly game and it has been running smoothly since that day. I had to reset my phone and now when I go to Marketplace from my phone the app is not there. I went to the Marketplace website from my pc and in my purchase history it shows.
Any ideas???
Please help.
Thanks.

Java and games

Hi,
i'm quite liking my vox, and im searching for some games.
I'v downloaded a ton of java games but i only found a few games that work like R-Type and some rally games
Can i update the java player?
And is this phone not capable of playing PPC games? Like Doom and Age Of empires?
You can play Doom pretty good. I played it in landscape with the full keyboard.

Do you have links to download games (java or not) compatible with Vox ?
Thanks.
I am sorry I don't remember where I got it from. And I don't know if it would comply with the forum rules if I would post a link to it.
...
Looks like I found it. It's freeware so: http://www.smartphone-freeware.mobi/download/rcx-doom
For more free games go to MoDaCo's download section. spvDuke3D and spvMan are quite good.
Here are 44 free games!
EDIT:
A very good Game Boy emulator (Java) is MeBoy. All you need is ROMs, but I can't post links to that!
You know, Pokemon makes school life so much better! And good memories come back ^^
thanks for the links! Doom works fine!
Duke3D doesnt work.
"Unknown Multivoc error code"
Have you tried pocketGBA? didnt work for me.
And i found worms for landscape mode but java doesnt let me do that
Hm I have a Windows Mobile Worms Edition, but I have never tried it in landscape!
Hey I just found another great free game.
Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/totalaccess/default.mspx
you have to register, but then you can get Real Dice Poker for free. It's an online and offline game!
Thanks for your links frauhottelmann
I can login with my Hotmail acc. didnt need to register
If you already have some Microsoft registration, you can use it!
its a 3 day trial until u register
You can register, it's free.
i tried on my fox but coudnt enter my email :s _ doesnt work.
Almost every W810 game I had worked in jBed flawlessly. I had about 200 on my device, I have them backed up to my microSD but not installed. I don't tend to play games myself but most of my friends play the NES emulator when they get their grubby paws on my Vox.
I'll upload the java collection I have.
Sounds good! Thanks
ok signing up worked
and i cant install pocketsnes or gnuBoy becous it doesnt have a digital signature (i think in english)
You have to app-unlock your phone!
sda unlock doesnt help
What do i need to reboot at the end? reboot sda now it says.
i need to reboot the program or my phone? i tried both but nothing worked.
Try this: http://www.mediafire.com/?k1egbyo05gs
Connect to your PC via ActiveSync. Open it after you installed it (on PC) and select "No Security" and click promote. Wait a bit. Restart S710, then it should work!

Marketplace Applications

I have htc gene. I am unable to run windows marketplace on it properly. It hangs n number of times. I'm unable to even sign in. So, I can't download those freeware applications (5001 Amazing Facts, for example) to my device. So, if anyone could get me the cabs of such applications, I'll be very thankful. As these are freewares, no question of money and all that law stuff.
Moved as not software release.

QIK-Livestream

Hello guys...i need your help...
I cant find the QIK program for livestream with HD2...
Do you have any ideas?
Hi, AFAIK Qik does not have a working client for the HD2. Ironic considering it's one of the most powerful smartphones. I think they've been pressed by the competition to not support the HD2 and threatened them that they will change their terms and conditions specifically to block their software from their marketplace ;-)
Guys dont be suprised. Windows Phone will be relased soon, so im SURE, that Microsoft pressing developers to not relase apps for WM 5 and 6.
Maybe you think im crazy, but Google some in Internet. Last news informing, that Microsoft employees got free Windows Phones from they bosses, but they must everyone must write apps for this platform. M$ "fat fishes" giving even all needed STK's and tools to start programing now.
Other news is that M$ will pay to external companies if they will rewrite iPhone apps to Windows Phone.
So only future which i see for HD2 is Android ROM's.
Just use Google and find that.

can "uptodate" be installed and run on android?

hi guys,
i am a winmob user and never used an android device. also i m much clueless about all the hifi technical stuff.
there is a very important application called "uptodate" that i use on my omnia2. ( pls see this link, https://www.uptodate.com/home/about/index.html )
my queries are, can this application be installed and used on a android device?
and what are the advantages of android over winmob? / can the same stuff i do on winmob be done on android too?
sorry for my ignorance, but, i work in a different field and never had to come across these before.
pls help me out here.
thanks
sorry doc, but uptodate only works on windows/ palm os, not on android..
but then you can browse the online version using your password...on any phone with an internet connection..........but cant run it from the SD card like in windows mobile.
you can run epocrates (better version than win mo), and all the skyscape handheld software on android..............
but i think, windows mobile is the best for docs like us, who want to run uptodate from sd card

thanks. that was very helpful. guess i would stick with my omnia2 and winmob.
Well the android web one is nice. Just need an internet connection. If you have reception it makes no difference. If not you're such ruth the archaic wm. I used winmo for several years. It's time to move on.
Could winmo be emulated on android to run any of these old medical programs?
Uptodate in next version 19.2, will include SUPPORT for android and iphone 4.

who told you that??? i wrote uptodate 2 times already and asked about android support and they told me they had no plans for android support but that iphone support was on the way... this is the main reason i'm still sticking with winmo ...
hello again,
coming back to the thread after a while.
i ve heard that people at utd are planning to make it only accessible online. because most of us are using the cracked versions and obviously they dont make any profit
and guess if they do that its going to be very hard to access without subscription. (which is rather expensive)
any news on that guys?

that was reallly helpful. but no support for wp7 i guess. also this online access needs subscription of several hundred usd per year, am i correct? (unless there is a way to use it without subscription) and what exactly is offline support? does it mean being able to store in the sd card and use, like with the old wm devices?

for online access you need the subscription (or have someone give you his/her login info ), of course.
i think (and hope) that offline access means the old wm and palmos way of installing it to the sd card, yes. the new, 19.2 version just came out and sadly there is no support for wm and palm anymore, so no offline version for mobile devices ... i didn't yet see the dvd itself but according to the above quotes, there will be no offline version until the transition from wm/palm to iphone/android is finished.
cheers

i contacted utd customer care. according to them they are working on iphone and android support. (no mention about wm, wp7 or palm. wp7 support would come after a while a guess) probably an iphone offline application as well. and they are going to be online only, in the future. so there wouldnt be any desktop versions. guess i m stuck with 19.1 from now on. i ve seen some guys using the online utd without getting subscribed on their android phones. still dont know how.
cheers

there was a method of how to do this from a pc (which should also work on an android phone probably) including a proxy server and an institution which has a subscription described on a forum site www.drfouly.com, but the site has been down for some weeks now, and i don't remember the exact procedure, so no luck. if there is an offline version for android in the future i will probably switch to android; for now i'm sticking with wm and utd 19.1 ... luckily the institution where i work has unlimited online access to utd from all the computers in the hospital ...
cheers

Mail send me from UPTODATE in May 2011.
We will no longer provide updates for Windows Mobile as of version 19.2, which is released in July 2011.
We made this difficult decision based on limited usage of Windows Mobile devices and on our need to focus on more widely used devices such as iPhone, iPad and Android. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
UpToDate is currently working on a downloadable version for the iPhone. We are hoping to launch this version sometime this year. UpToDate is also working on a downloadable version for the Android with no projected availability date at this time.
While we do not currently have a downloadable version of UpToDate to load directly on your iPhone, we have found that the program performs very well either through Wi-Fi or your 3G network, and you will receive the most updated content by going directly to our website.
Helpful hint: When you go to the UpToDate login page through your browser, click on the + sign at the bottom of your iPhone, then click on “Add to Home Screen”. This will put the UpToDate logo on your home screen so you can get the online application with one touch on future visits.
Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.

forget the winmo! uptodate is available for any OS, including Android, and even Symbian. I don't know how they did the trick, but I'm using uptodate 19.3 on my Android 2.3.7. I'm a copyright man, but as we cannot buy uptodate in Iran, we have to reach illegal ways
I know a filesharing link that you can download the whole uptodate 19.3 but I cannot insert the link here in this forum, due to copyright issues. so tell me how I can help you...
to run it, you should just address your web browser (any) to a file in the uptodate folder. in Dolphin or Opera, I type file:///PATH-TO-UPTODATE/

Seems, unfortunately, that there is not much regarding your request. I was able to find a 2015 similar project that targeted installing Android apps onto Windows devices, but that may be more below that.
