Hi there ,
wanted to know if there is a way to edit the registry so that some of the programs would keep the device screen on ?
for example when using Garmin , there is an option to keep the device on , but not all the program have this option , so is there a way to do it manually for other programs ?

I have been trying to application unlock a vodafone v1415 (HTC VOX) using several ways including the standard regedit method here http://wiki.spv-developers.com/HTC_Application_Unlock_Guide
But when i try to alter the reg values i get
"Error" in the title bar and then
Unable to perform this operation
Any ideas out there!!

Download this tool

Install on your PC then find the following file
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Security Configuration Manager\tool.cab
copy it to your v1415
run it from your phone
reboot your phone
then connect your phone to your PC run the Device Security Manager
it should say your device is connected
Save the config as something you will remember (in case things go wrong!!)
Then change "Selected Configuration" to security off
Then Provision your phone
Reboot the phone
and thats it

Other thing:
Put the Cert.CAB de XDA dev, and run SDA Unlocker on the PC, device synchronized.
Then you'll be able to modify registry values to be fully app unlocked.
Another try (but not necessary) is Paul from MoDaCo 's unlocker.
Actually if you choose the security off option from the device secuirty manager it allows full acesss to the registry like a full unlock.

This 's my 1st time to try this kind of rom ( I try rc7 & H3r1 ) , both of them's great rom for me , I'm very love this idea , to use our phone as PPC , but I have some problem like to ask
1. I 'm not familier with PPC keyboard without touch screen , Can we back to use our keypad input , How ?
2. Is there anything should not do with this rom ( ie , after I try to set power turn off in /setting/system/power to save some power as I do in ppc , I found that my phone will automatic shutdown .)
3. Alll PPC program should be install to this rom , am i right?

1. Both of them ROMs have eT9. You can use hardware keypad.
2. On Tornado sleep is not possible. You can only disable display.

You can install 80% PPC and Smartphone software.
Hi i installed some older version of dotpocket on my ppc (wm 6.1), and had to restart the device in order to enable some startup. BUT after i restarted the device no input was recorded on the device ( i men the touch screen and the keypad are not responding AT ALL) i uninstalled the application using active sync deleted any registry file i fond from that file bun nothing helped.
Pls help I'm all out of ideas because i cant reset the device ( because i have to type 12345 on the device) a cant reinstall the ROM (this needs to be started from the device) and i was unable to find any remote user application that lets me control the ppc from my desktop pc (i fond apps but none that doesn't require selecting yes or something similar.
all i can do with the device is connect using active sync (copy and paste files) and i found some app tat lets me edit the WM 6.1 registry files.

If you're talking about access to the registry you'll have to developer unlock your phone first.
If your unlocked Heathcliff has WP7 Tools , it doesnt have direct file access yet , but it will soon and the registry is open and you can write to it , great things are coming!

I Have A Problem With An Android Application That Get All My Device Identity Numbers to Be Sure No One Can Use It More Than One Time Per Mobile .. I Have Tried To Stop It Permissions From Getting My IDs But It Didn't Work Because It Send These Data To Their Server Then App Can Run .. And I Tried To Use Device Faker, Device ID Changer Pro (Xposed), SIM Editor (coz it take the IMSI with IDs), DonkeyGuard, And Apk Editor Pro .. But All Didn't Make It ..
I Hope That Someone Tell Me What To Do , Or If Someone Can Edit It To Be Usable In The Device More Times ..
