Hi all ,
I have Etsalat ROM (arabic ROM) it's has perfect arabic but the problem with wifi is obtaining ip but unsuccessful
I tried all HoFo kernels and wlan.ko , but no luck.
I can connect by adding ip manual but I have to change ip every time
between home and office and other..
any solution ?
Is this all the time on any network or only with certain networks?

all the time and on any network ,
I can connect on other ROMs auto, but you may know no arabic on them
only this ROM has.
the etisalat rom (As in the service provider) ? IS this a stock or modded rom?
Etisalat is provider in UAE , and I use it with STC in ( KSA), also I have STC ROM (same etisalat ver) but I removed it because no market on it .
note: Etisalat and STC are the first providers has android (htc magic) on middle east.
Correct me if I'm wrong,
Basically you have flashed a stock rom from another carrier to your phone. So you should be going to that carrier for help with problems on their rom however, they probably aren't going to help you because you aren't on their network and have flashed a rom.
If this is the case, I can't really help you. Although I would suggest trying other roms (without arabic support) to see if they also have the problem. If they do then its your phone/network. If they don't then its the rom. Barring advice from others, if the roms at fault I'd probably try to make my own by taking a rom with working wifi and adding arabic. Or taking the arabic rom and adding wifi mods from another rom.

I tried 5 ROMs and wifi is working, and also tring to add arabic on other ROMs but
only I got arabic fonts but difficult to reading (spaces between letters )
also I changed the kernel an wlan.ko but same it is ,not connecting auto.

Searched the forum, but cannot locate the shipped T-mobile UK ROM for the Vario III. Need to revert back, as I wish to use Sky Mobile TV, and it only works in the office ROM (unless someone can point out how to get Sky Mobile TV working without reverting back? ).

There is no official T-mobile original rom but there is a reconstructed one here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1586817#poststop , i question i also used to use the official one but couldn't set up e-mail correctly, in the case of my yahoo account it would tell me the username or password were rom so i flashed a different rom.

Does anyone know, if it is possible to flash a MZ604(UK, German etc) Wifi Only Rom on a MZ600 Verizon Wifi+3g device?
- If yes, do I need to look my device again to reiceive updates or is it even possible to receive updates after the flash?
- If no, can I use another rom instead?
I'm asking that because I'm living in Europe do not need the UMTS chip, it wouldn't work either and the system now is in english only. That's not a problem for me but for my dad, thus I want to make him happy

I don't know exactly for the UK, German etc based roms, but I do know that for the US based Wi-Fi only based roms, they work flawlessly on my Wi-Fi + 3g Xoom at this present time.

i am facing weird issue with my p999/g2x that i bought from amazon and it is unlocked for international use worldwide, i am based in europe and all is good with phone functionality except i can't use mobile internet 2g/4g if i install any rom that is not based on 2.3.3
i tried 2.3.7 , ics , jb. no luck , after i manually add my apn settings it just does not work, as soon as i install any of 2.3.3 roms it works perfectly
any ideas?

I live in Russia and use Beeline provider.
Got xt926 from Usa.
The problem is that i can't sent sms, have no mobile internet and the sign showing the strength of network is always grey, also when I'm trying to enter short commands like *102# - no answer.
It happens on all the ROMs except ORIGINAL MOTOROLA FIRMWARE AND ECLIPSE ROM. On all the other ROMs the problem takes place.
I think that's a problem with radio module. Can I get it from ECLIPSE ROM and flash it separately? And how can I do it?

I need help with my HTC sensation it has no internet(data connection) anymore after i change proivider.
Before i had "vodafone.nl" and i changed to provider "ziggo mobiel"
When i had Vodafone i never had problems with mobile network/ internet/ data connection
I have an flashed rom from Cyanogen mod 10.2 with android 4.3 version on the Sensation.
Ziggo told me that the problem can be caused of an flashed rom/ rooted mobile. i dont believe that because before it was the same phone+ rom
the only thing i changed was the provider.
Calling and smsing works all fine. wifi works too. I set all mobile network settings as Ziggo told me to do. And all did not work.
And could it be really the rom that causes this problem (like ziggo says)??
btw, my brother have same problem same also at "ziggo mobiel" and he have an" HTC one 32gb " original stock rom.
Or can i get an file on this forum to solve this problem?? I would be very thankfull if anyone can help me out!!
