i also want to ask some questions for windows OS device,
1. Phone memory is devided in STORAGE and PROGRAM.
when i install any application it stores in to storage due to that memory is full and how do i install in program part. not in storage card(external)
It might possibly be your carrier that is imposing restrictions on your surfing, rather than something on your phone.

is anyone here able to write scripts using mortscript?
If so i would like to throw a idea out there for something that would be VERY useful for us wm 6.5 users
i would like to propose a script that automatically kills a idle data connection after 30 secs or so but still allows apps internet access when needed. The way i see it playing out is anytime that i click exit or a X button the script runs a check to see if the data is connected.

It then runs a check to see if there is any app that is using that data connection and if not it automatically clicks the disconnect data button here
looking at the capabilities of mortscript it should be doable but since i am a noob to it I am asking here for any help regarding the issue
What encryption software exists on Android ?
Not that I do anything wrong, but I like my files to remain private.
I think that file-system encryption would be the best option like TrueCrypt ?
But out of interest does gpg exist yet on Android ?
I use iLock, its on the market. Nice app that lets you encrypt files that you choose.
please, delete this post
It's seems the best free app for your purposes is APG

use PGP encoding/decoding
Also U can use any compressing software with encoding feature. Like Dual File Manager.
I think is not a problem when I recommend you free apps?
Hello,
Me and a classmate just created a new application called 'SMS2Simple'. If you install this application and you register yourself at our website (www.sms2simple.com) you can send your sms/text by the web. This is much easier and faster I guess.
Probably there are a few bugs and some missing features. Currently we are working hard to create a better application.
You can find our application on the Market if you search at 'sms2simple'. At the moment our application is COMPLETELY free. You only have to pay for the sms you send from your phone
I really want to hear your opinion about this.
Thnx.
*There could be bugs/problems in our application, please tell me

I tried to download a 750mb file with firefox but it stopped at 10%. So I got an app called Loader Droid and went to download the same file again but at 7% it stopped and I got two texts from t-mobile telling me that they cut off my tether. (I wasn't tethering)
I have unlimited data, 5gb highspeed, business plan and I will be calling the business department in the daytime. Does anyone have anything useful to add before I speak to them?
I don't think this is fair
upd: can't download this file with firefox mobile either...

So I got this nice notice of Android that I'm reaching my mobile data cap. So as it seems, is that the aospa browser downloaded 1GB of data in the background during the night between 1 and 2 november.

I'm very concerned on what caused this and costed me €10 of mobile data. I deinstalled the browser from /system/apps for now. I don't use the aospa browser myself, I use Google Chrome.
Can I check somewhere, or in some logs what it did and what caused it?
BTW, the data is really used, and not just a bug in the "Data Usage"-tab, as my carrier states I only got 178MB left for the month.
May I please bump this as no one has responded to me as of yet?
