Good day!
I have 32A TIM Magic.
2-3 days ago i flashed official rom with sense 3.03 by GoldCard.
After this i had radio: 6.35.08.29 and hboot: 1.76.2007
But after testing this rom i decided to return to my official ROM for TIM (TIM - RUU_Sapphire_TIM_IT_2.15.901.4_release_signed) with radio 3.22.20.17.
During flashing radio the process stopped at 88%. I waited very long time, but process didn't continue. I had to take out the battery.
After this i have magic with cyclical RUU mode, hboot: 1.33.0008 (TIM), radio 6.35.08.29.
Now i can't flash hboot, radio, roms.
Please, can you give me advice what it is possible to make?
Thank you!
can you get into flashboot mode?
if the goldcard thosen´t work , send'it to HTC .

there is a way to revert back but you maybe need to change rom.zip with one oh these sappimg.zip , will post a link soon
so http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544761 get the zip file and unzip it now, include hboot and radio into a new normal zip file (use linux och winrar ) run the rom you wanted to revert back to , and change there is is a text file in that rom.zip in you temp folder include that into the zip you made (will make ) too , and replace the original one with this , and proceed .

Try to flash RUU_Sapphire_TIM_IT_2.15.901.4_release_signed a few times again to complete flashing radio.
Don't let device to sleep
How did you get the 6.35.08.29 radio version? This is a radio version specific to the HTC Hero as far as I know.
That might be what has you stuck in RUU.
Try something... Turn off your phone, remove any USB cable.
Turn it back on by holding Power and Volume Down. Does it put you into HBOOT mode?
Hi al,
I am having a similar problem. I am using 32A Magic loaded with MyHero 2.0.5 and an engineering SPL 1.33.2010. I was trying to try out CursorSense 32A ROM when I hit a snag. The radio update failed. From my console:
sending 'radio' (21376 KB)... OKAY
writing 'radio'...
the screen blanks and the LED lights up in blue, and it stays like that for more than 15 minutes so I ended up having to remove the USB cable and battery.
After this I cannot boot the phone any more. However I am able to go to the HBOOT mode. Whenever I try to load a recovery image using fastboot (recovery-RA-magic-v1.3.2H.img), it will only appear for a for seconds before the phone get rebooted.
I tried using Amon Ra's guide to restore the radio but that does not work. I am able to flash the hboot.img but when I try to flash the radio it gets stuck in a similar situation. The radio update gets sent but does not complete.
Looking at the HBOOT mode I can I have got back my original HBOOT but my radio is still 6.35.07.29.
Any ideas how I can restore my old radio back or at least complete the installation of the CursorSense 32A ROM?
cheers

Hi,
Seems nice work man
1. How do u boot the chacha into recovery?
2. Is the radio compatible with all carrier/countries?
I come from the Cliq and the radios where not safe for all users depending their carriers (some lost 3g forever as downgrading the radio was not possible).
Sent from my HTC ChaCha A810e
hi
PH06img.zip containing cwm 4.01 porting by Mikevhl and final official radio with extract from orginal RUU_Chacha_HTC_ARA_1.22.415.2
but my bro i say only security unlock / S-OFF user can
after s-off u can upgrade and downgrade ur radio also
easy writ in bootloader PH06img.zip radio and cwm
i used xtc clip for Unlock phone - (simlock, SuperCID, security unlock / S-OFF)
Regards, behtash
Please use the update.zip from my cwm thread and add the radio one as an add on.
The one from my thread does not require a SuperCID (XTC Clip-only) and can therefore too be flashed on shipped s-off devices.
That way users aren't forced to flash another radio, which has no impact on the rom itself whatsoever.

What I did :
1) I "S-off" my mobile in shop with XTC CLIP ( no other way to S-off your mobile).... check check here
2) I have rooted my mobile........ check check here
3) Go to settings -> Power -> uncheck "Fastboot"
Turn off the phone
4)I went to bootloader by clicking VOL Down + Power , the phone will boot to HBOOT. It should show S-OFF.
5) I flashed the Arabic Rom after transferring the file to SD Card

GSM or CDMA?
is this GSM or CDMA supported ?
Hi all
Sorry for another thread so soon, but I'm in a very sad situation after I tried to fix my problem described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381432
So I downgraded from hboot 2.00.0002 til hboot 0.98.0000, s-off'ed using Revolutionary, Revolutionary offered to install ClockWorkMod which I accepted. Using clockworkmod I installed CyanogenMod 7.1. Due to problems with the touch functionality I decided to try to revert back to stock 2.10.401.5.
I read that this could be done just using the official RUU, so I connected my phone in fastboot-mode, ran RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.5_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_219480_signed which detected my phone as "1.28.xx" (which was the version I flashed on during the downgrade) and the RUU went on without error and said "Congratulations, your phone bla bla". But then the phone reboots and never gets further than the green HTC logo on white background.
What am I to do? I can still connect to the phone via fastboot. ClockworkMod recovery console is gone, pressing recovery now just gives the default HTC recovery.

Flash recovery via fastboot.
EDIT:
Lol spastic I just realised what you tried to do. I'm going to leave you a hint, nothing more, and nothing less. This has been explained numerous times over the forum, you could simply do some reading and solve your problem.
All those two images show is that your radio has changed, and the reason your hboot is still the same is because the Revolutionary hboot is protected.
Lastly, on a "general" consensus, people who have no clue about the hardware they've purchased shouldn't be tampering with it.
Sorry, I completely panicked last night after it happened.
This morning, without reading anything other than your post (which was encouraging), I thought of a wealth of options.
One, which was the one i followed, was:
#1: Connect the phone via fastboot
#2: fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-saga.img
#3: now ClockworkMod was working again
#4: choose "back up and restore"
#5: restore my original nandroid backup
But now I will do some reading on how to properly revert back to stock
Thanks
Wuhtzu
Hmmm .. this is rather different to the replies I normally get.
I'll be maybe a little more helpfull. Try flashing the Engineering HBOOT, get rid of the Revolutionary HBOOT, its nothing more than trouble.
Use this HBOOT (0.98.2000).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113820
Flash that HBOOT using these instructions.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18122984&postcount=237
Don't bother with 2.00.2002, it just reduces your cache by 150mb, and donates it to the system partition.

I'm not sure I follow you. All I meant is that I successfully got my self back to the situation where I have revolutionary hboot, clockworkmod recovery and where I'm able to flash the ROMs I want. So that's all good. All you did here was hinting something like "pull your self together and so some more research"

For this next part I'm blown away. How could you know that I actually wanted to get rid of the Revolutionary Hboot while not wanting the 2.00.0002 hboot? Because that's precisely what I want to do - I have touch screen issues and need to check if it's all this rooting/s-off'ing/custom-ROMing that's to blame - so I need a hboot which will let me use stock RUUs.
Ok, I need a little help. I wanted to flash Android Revolution HD 6.0.1(ICS 4.0.3) on my HTC Sensation (T-mobile USA). I was using this tutorial:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300. After I got S-Off to work I began to flash CWD. I made the mistake of copying the wrong PG58IMG.zip file over. Instead of CWD it was the updated ICS firmware. Now I'm stuck with HBOOT 1.23.0000, no CWD, no root. Where should I go from here? Should I try to fix the HBOOT or try to flash CWM another way. Do I need to use ADB? Here is a pic of what I'm working with.

Hi,
You could try to get hboot 1.17 HERE back on your phone.
Then try to finish the s-off process.
so how would I get HBOOT 1.17.0000 back on my phone since I get an error every time I try to flash it through a PG58IMG.zip file? Any links to tutorials I missed?

Hi,
Place the 1.17 PG58IMG.zip on the root of your sd card using a card reader.
Make sure you do a MD5 checksum of the zip(google it)
Power down the phone,or remove the battery.
Power on holding down volume - and power button.
Let the update go through.
When it finishes,go back in to ROM and delete the PG58IMG.zip.
If you cannot get into ROM,remove the card and use card reader in PC.
You should then be able to carry on "Revolutionary".
Ooo you should be s-off still even after your did IMG.zip
if you completed the s-off before the you flashed the ICS then your s-off should still be there it wont show but its there, if you can try then IMG.zip that has the hboot 1.17

I did that. I'm not that much a noob. That is the problem I was asking in the first place. I cannot update that way. It says "Update Fail" on the screen. Also, the phone is S-OFF, didn't even flash the rom yet. Thanks for your help so far.
Ok I see the picture cause its saying incorrect phone model there is a pdimg.zip that will put your cid to 11111 once that done you should be able to.use and pdimg.zip
Ok, so where would I find that?
Ok, I had to use HTC dev tools to unlock bootloader, then use adb tools to ensure cid was 11111111. Then flashed bootloader back to 1.17.0000. Thanks for the guidance. Was more rewarding to figure somethings out instead of being guided through every step.
It is not mentioned in the firmware topic, but it seems important to do SuperCID before flashing the new firmware in case of problems. I've seen this problem elsewhere on this forum.
But it's nice to know that there is still a solution even if you do not have SuperCID.

I've been trying to restore back to stock for over a day now and still havn't figured it out.
All of the guides start talking about adb or fastboot right in the middle of the guide without any explanation.
Aruwizard keeps saying bootloader version fail when I try to flash whats supposed to be stock rogers rom, but everything i see is telling me to download the one im already using.
1. download rogers ruu.zip
2. get supercid or downgrade follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671135
3. use the windows ruu tool ..... or .... get adb and fastboot installed correctly. google this if you dont know how
4a. for windows ruu tool follow my post in dev section
4b. for adb and fastboot do
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
it will ask u to run the last command again...

Have you relocked your bootloader?
1. make sure fastboot in android is turned off under power.
2. power off device
3. power phone on by holding down the volume down key + pressing power - don't release the volume down key until you see the bootloader screen
4. select fastboot
5. connect phone usb
6. screen should now read fastboot usb in red
7. type fastboot oem lock
Phone might restart back into fastboot can't really remember but now you can run the RUU.
The RUU should be an .exe for the above
im on 1.73 trying to flash reflash 1.73, so i shouldnt need to use super cid (?).

Let's get to it!
You must beS-Off to do this!
To Install:
Download this modified hboot: Click Here to Download
Place the zip in your fastboot/adb directory on your computer.
Put the device in fastboot mode (Volume down and power until menu appears, select fastboot using power button)
Connect the device to the computer
Enter the following commands from terminal/command prompt in the fastboot directory, one at a time:
fastboot oem rebootRUU (this puts the device in RUU mode)
fastboot flash zip 1.54-tw-MOD.zip (this flashes the modified hboot zip file)
Important: The flash process halts at around 75% to 90% on phone screen! This is normal and a safety precaution!
The last few percent is the reboot, which is NOT happening automatically, so you get a chance to check the console output before
reboot to make sure it is safe to reboot!
The bar will only fill up to 100% once you type the following command:
Click to collapse
fastboot reboot-bootloader (this reboots the device to bootloader)
Reverting / Relock / S-ON / Stock
If you plan on reverting to stock-relocked, for any reason:
You should follow the above steps first, but use Stock 1.54 hboot instead. Click to Download
Do this before you relock the bootloader.

You are aware that writing to the security protected partitions increases your risk to lose the device exponentially.

You understand that you should not do it if you are not willing to accept this risk.
Keep in mind we are s off so be careful of the commands before entering them, you can brick your device !

i have X920D hTC Asia WWE version/variant, after S-OFF, then change to hTC Asia TW by flashing TW RUU. So this is work for:
Carrier : HTC_Asian with CID HTC__621 & HTC__044
You can send me the latest firmware.zip from OTA, i will do the hex editing to remove the Red Text for your device.
Make sure your device already S-OFF, and agree with DISCLAIMER on OP
I'm lazy. Don't have much access to computer. So I shall live with the red text. Haha.
sent from the world where no one knows...
