i hav been fooling around with some theemes and now i have lost the pop-up volume control in music player, youtube etc.
does anyone know how to fix this ?
I am using Dutty's Holy Grail R0 for HTC HD

i have recently installed the udk R8 Diamond rom for my O2 XDA Orbit 2 it works like a chram but got problems with music tab, music tad doesn't show the album art work and also when i play music it doesn't update the title of the song for example i am playing a song and i click on next song it plays the next song but the title shows i am listening to previous one. its hard to explain this i hope what i wrote made it clear.
is there a way i can fix those two things.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I think I understand what you are saying about it not changing the title name, etc. If you click on the music tab again (or go to a diff one and come back) it will have updated the name right? I am not using udk R8 but have you checked out the Manila thread in the Development & Hacking forum, I believe this issue was resolved.

I have an O2 stereo BT headset which is 1 year old. I used it with my prophet previously just fine with S2P. No problems when I press play etc.
Since using it on my Touch Pro, when I press play on it, both WMP/tf3d player would play simulatneously. I have to stop s2p. It is annoying to say the least. I would like to continue to use S2P than wmp/tf3d.
How come I'm having this conflict & what to do about it?

I have the same problem...
I am having the same problems and from the research it looks like the profile for the blue tooth is set to always call up Window Media. I have been using Mort Player with no issues on an older model S9 motorola stereo headset. Now with the new one no go!!! always calls up Windows Media.
I have tried different media players - looks like there was a version of pocket player 4 that bypassed this issue and cut off Windows media player. Unfortunately it jsut doesn't work for my Touch Pro 6.1 stock rom.
i am thinking if anyone out there can make this fix available it must be the XDA people...
Anyone have suggestions, hack, new profile that can fix this annoying issue??? Please???
i thought no body else had this issue but i'm sure other people have it as well.
thanks for the research. tried looking in the registry for a2dp profiles and wmp, but no luck.
To all cooks, in all of the most resent roms with WM6.5 or WM6.1 running TF3D 2.0/2.1 or higher the audiomanager doesn't work with avcrp (bluetooth remote control) so I have to get my phone out of my jacket when I want to go to the next song, my remote control doesn't work. I'm aware that this is a bug in the audiomanger, but is there anyone who have fixed this yet? I'm absolutely not a fan of wmp or other players, and I'm stuck with some old wm6.1 version where avcrp still works.
Does anyone has a solution for this?
Edit; CR192 Touch HD™ V6.5.0.0.2 has a new engine `Audio Manager Engine ( LEO )´ which works, maybe other rom cooks can use this aswell to get avcrp up and running

I have same problem, i think the bug is in wich program has to answer to remote button presses. I think wmp and manilla audio manager are both answering to buttons on remote and all music playback goes to hell
Usualy when i press play/pause button audio manager starts to play song and wmp is starting in the background, then music starts to shater and in while all comes to hold
To listen to the music via bluetooth i disabled music tab in manilla, and im using wmp

I believe this should solve your issue. Except, if you Plan on using MSVC, make sure you install that first then the cab, that's only if you don't have it already in the ROM.

Right, i love my HTC HD2 phone.... but the only problem i have is the music functionary of the phone. iv been used to using SE walkman phones for ages with the last being W960i and i have missed the music features from the phone.
my questions are..
1) is it possbile to have the SE X1/X2 media centre ported to the htc hd2?

2) it is possible to map hardware buttons such as the vol up/down to change tracks? (my w960 could do this).
this is handy when the phone is in a pocket just press the button change track. I know the headphones provided have this built in, but i rather use my own set of cans
3) the sense music player is good, but is there any other applications available?

We all know that a lot of taskbars breaks compatibility with the Green HTC Volume slider (Used in music player, youtube etc.)... Does anyone have the Green HTC Volume slider as a installable cab? Im NOT!!!! talking about the volume control for ring ring/system sounds
