When phone activated (registered to the GSM network) screen in 10-20 sec activates itself and drains my battery.
when phone disabled from the connection menu problem gone and therefore I think it is due to radio rоm

These problems have emerged since the update towin mobile6.5 with radio rom 4.49.25.17

With the old Win 6.1 with Radio 3.43, the problem with the activation of the screen was gone, but more often there does happen to lose network.
Network signal is maximum, therefore
Network signal is at maximum, so why is that sometimes gets lost network?

Just got a new Touch Cruise and I just cant seem to receive calls or SMS when the phone is in sleep mode.
I tried putting the 3G off and all data communication off. Still same problem.
Phone works fine when turned on.
After it resumes from sleep mode i can see "No Network" message and immediately reconnects to the network. Signal is only one bar where as in my K-JAM i have no issues. weak
Anyone face similar problem ?
My ROM is 1.28.415.2 wwe 02/22/08
Radio is 1.58.25.14

What do you mean with sleep mode?
When my phone need to establish connection I need to enter my password.
With respect to your signal, do you refer to G or 3G?
By just pressing the power button once or after the time out in battery mode, the screen is put in sleep mode. I have not set any passwords.
After this I cannot receive any calls or SMS even if i put off all Data Communications, Wifi, 3G, GPRS. When i dial from another phone, I just hear a dead tone and does not go to voicemail either.
When i resume, i can see the message "Service Unavailable" breifly and the phone reconnects to the provider. I can make and receive calls then as long as the phone screen is on.
I have reflashed it twice but the same issue remains.
It is not a network issue as the problem is not there on my K-JAM.
It also can be a hardware flaw... I suggest restore the original ROM, bootloader and take it back...

Think i will do that. It is on the original ROM and the phone is just a day old. Guess it is my bad luck.
I wondered if it is just WM6 problem and required some sort of registry hack to keep connection alive in standby mode or something like that..

Gave the Cruise to the dealer Cellucom and they confirmed after 4 days that the board is bad. Got a warranty replacement with the option to take the Tytn II instead. Grabbed it. Guess i have to jump to the Kaiser forum now. Ciao.
I`m sure that everybody has a problem with logging into gsm network when telephone loses range.
It is searching constantly network but nothing happens until in comm manager I switch off gsm and then tap "phone on". It`s not a radio rom issue. Tested dozens of radios. It`s rather a hardware issue. Weak internal antenna.
Is there any possibility to create simple script/program to do action gsm off/on automatically when telephone is out of range for example for 30seconds and more ?

Been using this phone for ~6 weeks now.
Familiar with all 3G/H and no network issues - been there, done that...
Yet, I find it odd that while my phone is sometimes steady on UMTS, it has no actual data connection (Ping fails and also other tools), while calls can be carried out!
Also, at times, while network signal is showing as working, I'm actually w/o network connection (phone calls) at all.
And last, in several occurrences a day, while I'm not in a call and probably also not in 2G (I restricted my connection to WCDMA only), I get Network signal yet no data signal in the notification bar (WIFI is off).
I tried re-flashing 1.78 EU RUU (for my unbranded phone) with no change.
I tried rooting and putting Lee's ROM with no change.
I switched microsim from my provider with no change.
Is my only solution is sending it back to HTC for repair? or there is another solution to that frustrating (!!!) situation?

I have noticed that the switch between GPRS and HSDPA does not work good if i receive a call. Lately it has happend often, that phone calls only last a few seconds and then the connection fails. I normaly have medium signal strenght and the "H" in the statusbar and after the short phonecall the "G". When I call back the phonecall works fine. The ROM is Fallout and the Radio 20.48.30.0822U_3822.09.08.20_M. I'm in Germany and use the vodafone-network with 1+1.
Would a radio update help? When yes the one to 20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04 or the virtous-rom one(that update-file contains more elements are they all needed or just the radio.img?).
Has someone expirienced the same issue?

Seems like either a radio issue or a simcard problem.. Had the same disconnecting calls isuue as you and turned out that the sim itself was the culprit. Try having the sim replaced at your operator and if that doesn't work you can do a radio upgrade. I'm currently on the virtuous leaked radio and it worked wonders for me in terms of reception and battery life also so i recommend it..
Hi, I have a oneplus one 64gb White with a connection defect in my Sim Wind IT, just lit asks me the PIN and after the connection lasts 1 to 2 seconds and then stops working. if at the time it takes the signal I make a call I can stay for hours and does not end the call but just end up calling again I have to restart. I tried the cm11s stock up to 12.1 but the defect does not change, I flashed various modem stocks including that of OxigenOS 1.0 but nothing. I'm going crazy looking for a solution, you can give me some help? I also tried the sim 3 ITA but roaming TIM IT.
On about this phone i have imei, bluetooth mac and wifi mac.
