Hello,
I've seen the thread about the way to change the HTC screen at the starting of my HD2 to custom it.
I wonder if it is possible to change/remove the 2 other screen (orange and windows) which are displayed after the HTC screen ?
Do you have an idea make it boot quicker ?
even if you replace the animated image with a static single frame gif, the bootup time is still the same.
i also hate the long bootup wait.

Did you have someone a problem like this??
What do you think??
was the screen left on while it was charging? Sounds like a screen burn in issue but i am not sure. Search the form for screen burn.
you can find a solution here:

you are suffering from the screen burn-in/image persistence issue that i have experienced
contact htc support with photographic evidence of the screen burn-in explaining in as simple terms as possible and dispatch that to htc
good luck
I need some people to test out an app that previews boot animations on the device. It also can set the boot animation (requires root). This is a complete rewrite of the original version that is currently on the market. This version is using OpenGL to render the animations, which allows for the larger animations to actually work.
As I said, I just want to get an indication of what devices / android versions it is working on, and which ones its not. I still have a bit to do with the OpenGL, as the frames are rendering inverted, but this is just an alpha test
Note: If you are going to test it out, you must have the AndExplorer app installed on your device as well.
If you test it out, please post your device, and if you were able to see the boot animation.
I have attached 3 boot animations, if you do not have any to test with.
Thank you for taking the time test.
question
okay i am running android 2.2 froyo and tested the app out i was able to see the star wars logo one but it didnt take up all of the screen and it was in the bottom left hand corner and was fairly small but i was not able to load the matrix or the other one it just sat there on the white screen and said loading so it seems like some may work and others don't but its a wonderful app if its able to test all boot animations it will save me loads of time cause then i can just preview them instead of having to install them to see what the look like
okay so like i said earlier i have the moto droid running android 2.2 and the matrix boot animation didnt load in it but i also tried some of the added functions in the app such as setting a boot animation from your sd card to be your default boot animation and that didnt work but if you were able to get this app to were you could preview boot animations and then set them to play when your phone boots up i would give you a big kiss lol but i love the idea
i have the samsung moment and when i tried it, the animation showe up on the bottom half of the screen for like 2-3 seconds then went blank.
On Samsung Galaxy Spica 2.1 same problem, animation is displayed normally, but only in the lower left corner.
I've had the Transformer for about a month now and this is the first hiccup.
On the main homescreen there's a vertical bar on the far right with the five icons/shortcuts anchored there. The background under those icons is scrambled- the rest of the homescreen is fine, as are all of the other homesscreens. Rebooting doesn't help, changing the wallpaper doesn't either. I'm using Wallpaper Wizardrii, have been since I got the device, so I don't think that caused the problem either.
Any idea what I could do to fix it? Thanks!
I have never seen this issue. I would uninstall the 3rd party wall paper and see if it helps. Don't forget to power cycle the unit.
Ok- I'll try that now. Thanks.
No luck. Before I unlock the screen the [stock] background image completely fills the screen and there's no scramble. When I unlock the screen the image squeezes over to the left a little to make room for the vertical taskbar and the scramble appears (under the 5 icons). So something weird is happening when the image resizes.
I just remembered that even when I was using one of my photos as wallpaper it was not scrambled until the screen was unlocked. In Android's version of screensaver mode the pictures fill the screen and there's no scramble.
Using Multipicture Live now but problem still there. It's not a big deal (still love this tablet!) but I would like to know what's going on and how to fix it.
Anybody else experience this partial-scramble? I got a random reboot yesterday- first time. All I'd done since I started this thread is uninstall the wallpaper wizardrii program, reboot/power cycle a few times, and then download and install the new wallpaper (multipicture live) program.
Still hoping for help with this
Hi, I have a HTC Droid Incredible and I am now running CM7 and I love everything about it. but, I would like to improve my experience my changing different things. for example the Lock screen delay is way to short. I am talking about when you press the power button and just look at the lock screen for the time or whatever. my question is, is there anyway to make it longer than the 3 seconds that its set on now?
Another thing I realized that you could have different wallpapers for just the lock screen and your default. I was hoping there was a way to make the lock screen wallpaper a live wallpaper while the default something different. Is there any way of doing this? I ask this because i have a weather LWP that tells me what the weather is on my lock screen but i don't like it as my default wallpaper.

HTC Droid Incredible refurbished, I broke my first one lol
CM7
I tried looking around but I couldn't find anything.
Basically I downloaded a 1080x1920 wallpaper (htc One S size) and set it as my background.
Everything was fine until I restarted my phone, because after restarting it, the background was zoomed in a lot, only a small part of it could be seen, and trying to reset it as my background makes it impossible to select the whole picture.
What is this / what can I do?
I have this issue occurring on my HTC One S as well. For me, it just disappears after a few minutes. Might be because of fastboot (correct me if I'm wrong)?
