Robo Defense

I'm hooked on Robo Defense.
I want to change roms but I'm afraid of losing all my game data.
How can I back up the game data so that I won't lose them when I do a clean Rom install w/Data,Cache wipe?
Thanks.

thanks. I do use titanium backup.
I was looking for like a config file that stores the in game progress that I can just "extract".
If I can't find it, I'll just go the way of Titanium.

How to Properly Update ROM + Keep old data

I believe everyone here skillfull enough doing updating ROM on their O3D. Now I'm still wonder how do you all properly update ROM + maintain your old data(SMS,MMS,Installed Application,Notes, Calendar etc)
I had patched most of my gameloft game to external SD. Some of them non-gameloft as PES 2012. I can backup that gamedata too. Don't know about the savegame though. Update process will require you to wipe all data. Now if I had update rom, then restore application, what happen to my save game? I hate to re-play the game from the start again.
I found some application (mybackup pro, titanium backup). Will that backup everything up?
I want all applications+data for sms, mms, calendar, savegame etc from my previous ROM available in a new ROM(ThiaiO3D, Acura etc). Can that be done?
Thanks.

By the way, you should post such questions in general forum.
Yes, especially Titanium Backup can backup anything you desire... Give it a try.
I use AppExtractor.
It takes me 5 minutes to have back all my settings, sms, apps + config.
Thanks for your advice. How about savegame? Will it also included in the backup? I'm afraid it will be much complicated than sms, app& setting backup. Let's say gameloft games. Where is the savegame being stored?
yup, gamedata too.
I have purchased Titanium from the market. Its really worth it! Saved me a few times.
It will even let you install back to Internal SD, External SD, anywhere really (original location of apps/games).
Its also fast and does batch process so there are no prompts or anything when backing up and restoring.

Nandroid Phone Backup In Android SDK Emulator?

Hey all,
Hope this isn't a tired subject. I nandroid backed up my GB before putting on ICS. I lost all my text messages, which isn't a big deal.
But it occurred to me to restore my nandroid backup to the SDK emulator (which I have successfully used to run my own "hello world" program) and I could go through my old stuff in the emulator. Is this worth persuing, or is it already known that I can't run a Skyrocket image in the emulator?
Thanks

Depends on the nandroid backup format. However you can buy Titanium Backup and it can extract user data from nandroid backups. Also, you can give my thread a look over and see if anything there might help.
That is actually one of the best features of Nandroid. Just backup your current setup then restore the old setup. You might need to reflash the same ROM/kernel then restore the old nandroid backup for it to work but at least it's a start.

Or don't root and backup using Helium (you'll need a computer, though).
