Cotulla's ROMS 01 to 04 all support 64Mb devices. Only 05 is for 128Mb devices. That means you can install up to 04 version in your 64Mb Magician with no problem. I don't know why you don't know that as it was stated in the first pages of the threads for each ROM. Please read first before complaining.

Iwant to upgrade RAM 128 for uni on PPC Techs. They said before I sent to them I must upgrade ROM for 128 MB first.
Maybe I ask silly question. Is it safe to upgrade ROM WM 6.1 for 128 MB into Standard Uni 64 MB? If I upgrade Beasty for 128 MB on my Uni 64 MB, will it damage my Uni? Please advice.

You must do upgrade to 128MB aware ROM, 'couse they need to check if everything is OK after upgrade.
Yes it's safe.
ROMs created now are 128MB aware (even if produced for 64MB machine). You don't necessarily have to burn a '128MB' ROM, just one that would recognise the memory available.

If you two folks would care to look in this VERY section of the forum you are posting you will see that our dear cotulla has created 6.1 roms for the magician..
as of yet there IS NOT a 6.5 rom as the OS can only run on the 128mb ram devices,
aka magician refresh

For 64mb units you can install either Cotulla's ROM 03 or 04. They are not for sale although you can donate if you feel like it. You can also go directly to Cotulla's website here http://www.cotulla.pp.ru/Magician.html if you are confused by the forum. Please read carefully the differences of the ROMs before installing them.

O Rom´s are for both, 64 / 128 MB devices
R Rom´s are only for 128 MB magicians.
Ps.: Have you ever seen some paid Rom on xda-dev?

Me too... No logic to you install any TouchFLO-Manilla,SPB.... Bcs these `programs` are automatically instaled in internal storage... So if you have 64 MB ram,and half of this is for programs and half for storage,all your memory will be almost full !!! This is definitelly is not for this device...with 64 ram... I tryed for example SPB which look fanatastic !!! But I losed 80% ram,and what to do ? to use 4 mb free ram for all applications ? no logic... better forget for manilla,spb and anything similar...

the user whitealien compresed manila v2 from 11Mb to 3.2Mb.
I think ram is not the problem.
Manila v1 is running under magician without problems

yes manila V2 worked on my magician (dopod 828) buat the problem is on HTC album for the rest worked perfect....
