I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade the 64mb RAM to 128mb on the prophet ?
And yes i'm sorry if this question is known by everybody but i don't find anything in the forum....

Thank you for your response, yes i looked there and didn't found the rom with the 64mb storage and 64mb program. i didn't fount it at this forum as well.

Fist I'd like to say what a blessing this site is! Good job to all that keep it running!
Thanks to this site I was able to update my Himalaya to this rom: "Helmi Himalaya AKU3.5 ROM SP2". And actually I quite love it!
There is only one thing that's still open for me...
Storage...it's divided up like this:
Storage: 14,54 MB total
Program: 61,29 MB total
Ramdisk: 47,96 MB total
the problem I have is that the Storage is so low :/ All programs that I wanna install, I try to install to the RAMDISK....and sofar so good. But there are some that don't ask where they should go...like ".net cf2 runtimes" and so on....no I'm down to 2,66 MB....that's very low :/
Is there a way to extend the storage?
Or am I missing something?

You need Hima DOCTool to extsnd storage to 30 MB.

Iwant to upgrade RAM 128 for uni on PPC Techs. They said before I sent to them I must upgrade ROM for 128 MB first.
Maybe I ask silly question. Is it safe to upgrade ROM WM 6.1 for 128 MB into Standard Uni 64 MB? If I upgrade Beasty for 128 MB on my Uni 64 MB, will it damage my Uni? Please advice.

You must do upgrade to 128MB aware ROM, 'couse they need to check if everything is OK after upgrade.
Yes it's safe.
ROMs created now are 128MB aware (even if produced for 64MB machine). You don't necessarily have to burn a '128MB' ROM, just one that would recognise the memory available.

Cotulla's ROMS 01 to 04 all support 64Mb devices. Only 05 is for 128Mb devices. That means you can install up to 04 version in your 64Mb Magician with no problem. I don't know why you don't know that as it was stated in the first pages of the threads for each ROM. Please read first before complaining.

if you are looking forward to install 64 mb rom to 128mb ram device then you just need to change the pagepool to 0.. and if you are looking to upgrade ram from 64 mb to 128mb then try tomal or retronex... more instructions in WIKI
