Problems with rom update

Hi all
First of all sorry for my grammer, english in not my native language.
I've tried to update my O2 XDA Neo with SMART1 WM6 Rom, i've download the file and started the "UPGRADE_ROM.bat" after installation finished i notice an error click then hardreset the phone, for a second on the display apear the HTC logo, after that the QTec blue screen with the IPL 2.15.0001; SPL 2.20.0001; GSM 02.20.21; OS 10.1.0.811 and then nothing happens. I hardreset the phone several times but so far no good. I come up with idea to go to bootload (holding camera button and pressing reset) and try to reflash it but the update_rom.bat says "No Device Connected" from there i have no idea what to do. I'm with MS ActiveSync 4.5 please help me.

the same problem with me i tried several methods to fix this problem but unfortunetely couldn't find any solution to fix it finally took my phone to the technical service.If you have quarantie I recommend you to the same thing.But never say them that I tried to flash a new rom because this breaks the quarantie.Just say my phone doesn't start.Don't worry they can't understand that you 've tried to flash your O2

Ok, things you should *do* before upgrading to WM6
Make sure that you have AKU2.2 (for instance RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe) installed _BEFORE_ upgrading to either AKU 3.3 (aserg for example) or WM6. This is in any case true for G4, most probably this goes for G3 as well, but I cannot say this for sure, since I do not own one.
If you happen to get stuck at boot screen because update process failed, grab the rom above and run it with USB plugged in, this will 9/10 of all cases fix your device.
No, I do not have a link to this rom, try to look for it yourself.
For the rest, happy upgrading

rom flash
make sure you disable your antivirus softwear and your windows firewall don,t use any extended usb hubs and you have cid unlocked it make sure let it do a full flash dont do enything else with your pc when you flash your phone good luck i hope this was usefull

My xda neo doesn't boot and get frozen on Windows mobile screen!

Hi all,
I upgraded my xda neo's OS from WM5 to WM6 and it was working good.
In the start menu of the xda, there is (Shutdown and Reset buttons). I tried to click over the Reset button. Afterwards the xda get frozen during restarting and stand on the (Windows mobile screen). I tried to connect it to the PC to reinstall the WM6 or even return back to WM5 but no way, the Activesync tell me "your device was not detected".
Can somebody help me to get my xda work again?!

1. read sticky threads in the Prophet Mobile 6 forum, or,
2. flash NVID, then flash wm6 or wm6.1 roms ( you may need to hardspl first )

HTC Snap keeps on rebooting

I installed AraLoc by mistake and my HTC Snap turned into Arabic mode. i couldnt revert it back to English mode. I tried Snap S511 HardSPL by JockyW to flush the Rom but it gave error and now my Snap keeps on rebooting again and again.
I need help in this matter please. I bought mobile from Dubai and now I am in Kuwait. I cannot goto the dealers here to get it fixed, because HTC Snap is not yet available in Kuwait, so there is no support for it.
I have tried:

My computer doesnt recongnize the device, so there is no way to install these ROM's. i have tired hard reset too, but it didnt work

F1,plz! K-Jam once reset stuck in boatloader

Hi everyone
well i got a new k-jam for myself and i was just upgrading to 6.1, by going to a wm5 noID rom and then CID-Unlock and then 6.1, well it didn't work, i got errs like 264,222 about connection and usb connection with ppc and pc,but they were just fine.
then i did this! i coid the update files to storage and i runned this "enter boat loader.exe" and so i got stuck in boat loader.but now every time i take out my battery and put it back again and turn on ppc,i got my windows allright,but i can't do a soft reset now,cuz it will stuck in boatloader again and another hard rewset again.
help me! i cant live like this! tnX.

[Q] Dopod S900 / HTC Diamond Windows boot error after SPL-Upgrade

Hi,
I replaced the SPL on a Chinese dopod S900 (same as HTC Diamond) using SPL-1.40.OliNex. Ever since, the installed Windows Mobile 6.1 stops with a Chinese error message which I cannot decipher.
I've tried replacing the SPL with the stock one, but this doesn't seem to work. RUU / Active Sync works when I reset the device and push the volume down to display the SPL screen - the progress indicator goes up to 100% and device resets, but SPL doesn't actually change.
Is there any way I can reload the stock SPL to get Windows to boot properly again or any way to load a different OS version (or even Android)?

I managed to flash a German ROM using Active Sync after booting into the SPL (reset with volume down pressed).
I still have the same "problem" in Windows now. It displays a message and doesn't seem to do anything, but I can read the message. It says something about the phone being initialized. So everything is working fine!
I guess if you have a Chinese phone it helps if you know some Chinese...
