nothing works dead icons and black background
i install themes whole night with no success
i installed spb shell 2.1 it works fine
after this i copy zip file on pc unzip it and overwrite files in program file/spb folder .i gave soft reset and spb hangs one menu with 4 icons at bottom with black background once you clicked them nothing happened after you have to remove spb shell bring omnia back to life.I simply dont understand how people are lying these themes are working . i am very frustrated is this some issue with rom as i am using default omnia rom with wm6.1 240X400.
please reply and end this dissappointment

1st I just want to say how great this site is!
This may be a stupid questions, but I've tried searching for a definitive answer on XDA and can't find one.
I have an VZW Omnia i910, I'm using SPB MS3 with the skin pack from http://www.imarche.net/omnia/index.php, but I would like to load some themes/skins that are available thru XDA that I found in this thread. I'm not sure where to put the .dat files that accompany the .cab files?
This is the folder structure I have
My Device >> My Storage >> SpbMobileShell3.0 >> SpbMobileShellSkins with the folders Commons, Original, Scripts, WQVGA. Do I put them in one of those folders?

Have u installed the mortscript itself? It would be easier to customize SpbMS skin after installing mortscript

I have different folder structure from yours but u're right that the .dat files should be placed inside there

I use the MortScript that came with this. So I should put the new skins/themes in the same folder as the MortScript file?
No, not in the same folder as the mortscript file
I also use the mortscript from imarche site. In my nike, i dont have to copy and paste the .dat files to Program Files>>Spb Mobile Shell 3 folder, simply go to:
Tools >> Spb Skin 4.0, and there u can customize background, buttons, weather images, etc. But of course for another skins without mortscript, u have to copy and paste the .dat files to Program Files>>Spb Mobile Shell 3 folder (manually)
*PS:back up your original files before customizing it

Hi, I have a Touch Viva with SPB MS 3 and the skins imarche but I can't see the complete icon of weater in a page
ok guys i have installed spb shell and i wanted to change the theme and all forums just says that i have extract the themes and then paste them into (program files=>spb shell folder) and then soft resetting my omnia but when i soft reset the omnia......i get the message that spb failed to load.....any suggestions pls...thanx

I have spb mobile shell 3.5. I want to create a shortcut to an exe file that is on my memory card. I then want that shortcut to be on my today page.

copy your exe file and then paste shortcut on \windows\start menu\programs
PS. paste shortcut and dont paste the .exe file (HTH)

Moved as not theme release.
Pretty much all theme's have instruction in first post to which is have a clean install, disable SPBMS then install via .cab or copy files to program location soft reset enable SPBMS.
If want to remove disable SPBMS then remove the same as you do any other software Settings\System\Add Remove Programs.
